I received a ticket from the Sheriff's Department in Lakewood, CA. I tried to handle it myself but the "system" for L.A. County tickets couldn't "find" my ticket. I managed to drive all the way to L.A. & get an extension. Shortly afterwards, over a few months time, I fell ill, required hospitalization, I had two operations, my brother died, and my 95 yr. old mother required care,( my brother had been her caregiver), and I was the only option she had. This was an overdue review. I used his services like in 2017 for two on the cell phone tickets. Using your phone for google maps can get you a ticket quick . Anyways I had happen to get two tickets in the same month! And I failed to appear to one , I gotten one ticket extended and totally forget about it. I am so happy I hired this firm. I got a stupid ticket because I had google maps on my phone and was holding the phone up so it would repeat the instructions and my lips were moving - I was talking to my partner in the passenger seat. So this grumpy ass cop pulled me over on the 405 and gave me a ticket for talking on my phone while driving. Yes really! Soon we won't even be able to walk down the sidewalk without our government charging us for it. So I wrote out a check and mailed in my fine. About 2 Years later my car insurance agent informs me my drivers license was suspended and owed a few thousand in fees for "failure to appear" in court. What the hell? The officer pulled me over for peeling out of a red light with my 1967 Mustang. I was sitting in court in Long Beach for my exhibition of speed charge. The DA told me if I pled guilty then and there I would have 2 points go on my record, and a charge of $1,700.00. And thats the best he can do. I requested for an extension to find a lawyer. I am a do it yourself kind of guy, so I did NOT WANT TO HIRE ANYBODY! I would rather have the money go to the ticket, on my second visit I tried to lower the fines again and I couldnt, my insurance was going to sky rocket etc.. I decided to plea not guilty and continue. As I was sitting in line waiting to go to court that day I went to yelp to find a lawyer, I found Mr. Ball with many reviews, Mr. Vu with many reviews, and Paul Denni with just a few. I called and left online notifications on these three. I had three tickets for driving on suspended license in addition to few FTA's and was facing misdemeanor charges....and my tickets were pretty old. My husband and I contacted Paul regarding a ridiculously minor traffic "violation" (a rolling stop turning right on a red light) before we even lived in California.
