They were telling us to subpoena this & that when we were under the impression that they would do it since we paid THEM. We asked for a full refund, and they only gave us half. I received a ticket from the Sheriff's Department in Lakewood, CA. I tried to handle it myself but the "system" for L.A. County tickets couldn't "find" my ticket. I managed to drive all the way to L.A. & get an extension. I found Paul Denni trying to google information about GC Services - a debt collector for unpaid traffic violation fees. I happened upon his website that advised NOT to pay GC Services as he is able to clear FTP's (failure to pay), FTA's (failure to appear), or lessen the severity of the fines of any traffic related court issue as long as you did not pay GC services in full. He was very clear on the scope of his services and the steps involved. Timeline was a little iffy and took longer than anticipated, BUT to be fair, a lot of the timing is in the hands of the Court's administration and depends on when they update their system. It took about 11 weeks from start to finish. Not only did he clear things up for me, which was all I really wanted, but he was able to get me some of my money back! This was an overdue review. I used his services like in 2017 for two on the cell phone tickets. Using your phone for google maps can get you a ticket quick . Anyways I had happen to get two tickets in the same month! And I failed to appear to one , I gotten one ticket extended and totally forget about it. Anyways they suspended my license and there was a huge fine from GC services . I honestly don't remember how I came across his services but I am so glad I did! I called him he went over what he does and the price I would pay. It was definitely cheaper on what the court was charging me and good thing is I didn't have to show up to court , he did on my behalf. I am so happy I hired this firm. I got a stupid ticket because I had google maps on my phone and was holding the phone up so it would repeat the instructions and my lips were moving - I was talking to my partner in the passenger seat. So this grumpy ass cop pulled me over on the 405 and gave me a ticket for talking on my phone while driving. Yes really! Soon we won't even be able to walk down the sidewalk without our government charging us for it. So I wrote out a check and mailed in my fine. About 2 Years later my car insurance agent informs me my drivers license was suspended and owed a few thousand in fees for "failure to appear" in court. What the hell? I immediately try to call the courthouse and of course can't reach a person and sat on hold forever to reach a robot. The officer pulled me over for peeling out of a red light with my 1967 Mustang. I was sitting in court in Long Beach for my exhibition of speed charge. The DA told me if I pled guilty then and there I would have 2 points go on my record, and a charge of $1,700.00. And thats the best he can do. I requested for an extension to find a lawyer. I am a do it yourself kind of guy, so I did NOT WANT TO HIRE ANYBODY! I would rather have the money go to the ticket, on my second visit I tried to lower the fines again and I couldnt, my insurance was going to sky rocket etc.. I decided to plea not guilty and continue. As I was sitting in line waiting to go to court that day I went to yelp to find a lawyer, I found Mr. Ball with many reviews, Mr. Vu with many reviews, and Paul Denni with just a few. I called and left online notifications on these three. Mr. Ball never got back to me, Mr. Vu was very busy as well and couldnt get back to me and told me he will call me back couple times, which he did.
