I've been training with Arrick for months how and I've made amazing progress towards my health…read more and fitness goals. As a trainer he's committed to making sure you get the most out of your workouts. He's very attentive at correcting form, ensuring constant progress with new routines, and is patient and understanding. When I started there I was incredibly out of shape and could barely make it through the first day. Months later I have increased strength and stamina and although workouts are still challenging, my well-being has greatly improved. He can work with you one on one to help you meet your goals, and that includes identifying problem areas and how to modify your workouts to suit them. In my case we had to work around an injured muscle in my back and he had absolutely no issue accommodating this. For me, one on one workouts are a mix of HIIT and weights. He also has group fitness classes and he teaches boxing. He trains people of all ages. The gym is very clean and he's very good about sanitizing everything. It's a very positive environment and I'd encourage anyone to give this place a try! Update: Recently pre-cooked meals from Powered by Lex can be ordered online and picked up at this gym. There is a refrigerator inside where they are dropped off. The food is delicious, healthy, and each meal is portioned for one person. There is also a discount for members of the gym. I've tried more popular national meal services and they aren't nearly as flavorful or convenient as this local service. I'd highly recommend giving the meals a try if you decide to join the gym, especially if it's hard for you to manage healthy eating consistently.

I have tried going to the…read moregym by myself and with friends countless times, and I have tried a few classes elsewhere, but nothing has compared to the experience of Power Pack. Brandon and Sofia, the husband/wife team that own the gym, are the people who made me fall in love with working out. I was totally out of shape when I started with them, but I never felt embarrassed of where I was at, or like I wouldn't be able to participate. The classes are FUN. The energy is high and it always feels like you get the benefit of the group without any weird competitiveness. I tend to take boxing and barre. Boxing is a newer endeavor for men but one class got me hooked the point that I went and bought my own gloves! Barre is a shockingly hard workout, and great for when you want to feel your muscles shake (and struggle to walk the next day). Seriously, take a class. There's no wrong choice. Even if you have injuries, disabilities, etc. they are fantastic at modifying exercises and keeping you participating and working up a sweat all class!

Small but Mighty…read more Founded by husband-and-wife team Brandon and Sofia Ferrante, this is a small group fitness/boutique gym with both indoor and outdoor spaces. Parking: Limited street parking, and it can be challenging during prime hours. Classes: There's a good variety of high-energy classes, including boot camp, HIIT, boxing, barre, and yoga. They do a good job maximizing the limited space to fit in so many different activities. Community: I like that they also host community events, such as "Run x Lift x BBQ," which combines a group run with hot pancakes and sausages. Schedule: They start early! Tuesday-Thursday hours are 5am-8:30pm, with shorter hours on Saturday and Sunday. Check the schedule for specific class times. Prime-time classes can fill up quickly or have waitlists, especially with their smaller class sizes and specialized coaches. The downside is that it comes with a boutique price tag, but if you like a small, community-focused fitness environment, it could be worth checking out.

The staff have always been very nice and welcoming. We recently needed to pause my unlimited membership for a while, and the process was a breeze. I haven't attended any other OTF studios, so I can't really make comparisons, but Coach Dharam has been great. He is a fantastic motivator, regularly checks in, and gives helpful suggestions when needed. You can tell he genuinely pays attention to the members. Overall, I have had a really positive experience and look forward to continuing my OTF journey!!

Summer 2026 Update!…read more Elite Member approaching my 500th (!) class soon. Hard to believe even with the pandemic shutdown, I've returned and stuck with this workout since my first classes in 2015 when Natomas first opened. Thanks to my former coworker for recommending Orangetheory to me after trying out her Elk Grove home studio, and I lucked out with past Natomas coaches Coach Lysandra, Coach Avery and Coach "Training Tall" Austin. Since my last review, Dharam is no longer the head coach, coach Milana is now at Carmichael studio, and now the head coach at Natomas is coach Conner. I regularly attend evening classes with Coach Dharam, Coach Rachelle, and Coach Thuy. Occasionally I'll take a class with Coach Josh or subs like Coach Amilia. The 3G classes are either HYROX-focused on Tuesday nights now, or downgraded to 2G sizes/format for Thursdays. Tread50s are also a later option for me, though the Strength50 classes tend to fill up. Instead of All Out Mayhem, this year they had Season of Strength. Next up for August is Marathon Month challenge, then the Fall Dri-Tri. Class check-ins are now on a tablet, treads and rowers both have the upgraded tablets, Y-bells replaced the medicine balls. There's even a brag bell for when you hit a PR!
