This airport is United Airlines' main hub. Not only that, the options for domestic and international flights are endless. I'd say that George Bush Intercontinental Airport has to be one of the busiest airports around due to the huge crowd of travelers going in and out.
The airport was quite gigantic in general and took a bit of time to navigate between gates. There were a total of five passenger terminals (A, B, C, D, E). All of these terminals are connected and can be accessed with either the Skyway train or the Subway train.
What stood out to me was the gorgeous, modern presentation of the atmosphere. I loved the installations of the decorative architectural ceiling as well as the colorful LED lights.
The nice variety of dining was in abundance. Restaurants included options such as Agave Taqueria, Auntie Anne's, Bam Bam, Chick-Fil-A, Blaze Pizza, El Tiempo, Landry's Seafood, Panda Express, Peet's Coffee, Starbucks, Subway and so much more (the list goes on).
In terms of relaxation, massage chairs, children's playing area, lounges, ablution and prayer room, sensory rooms, and Chapel were also available for travelers' use when convenient.
As far as shopping, there were clothing stores, markets, designer stores, cosmetics, duty-free stores, etc.
Overall, the George Bush Intercontinental Airport - IAH was a wonderful, yet busy airport to fly into. I don't mind returning here for layovers. The concourses may be a lot to navigate through, however, the offerings available from food to relaxation were beyond great.
