Rude staff who rolled his eyes at me after I inquired what's airport name cause it wasn't coming up on my check in
    Net A.

Late post 088/2026/March ***This review pertains only to an unfriendly southwest staff at the airport! **** It was a connecting flight to Ontario that I deplaned at this HOBBY AIRPORT in Houston thru Southwest Airlines. I was so confused to which airport it was ! I approached the Southwest counter to inquire and a rude staff response was very unpleasant to hear!!! So far this was the first in so many travels that I have encountered a rude staff behind the counter! A very sharp tone of voice and without even making eye contact !

Thanks for getting us here even though it seems the airline broke our reservation up/apart so that the passenger who booked with the Southwest rewards card was separate from the other three to possibly get bag fees? We will certainly be calling customer service to figure out what is going on but this is not how we booked and we will be learning from this experience to make sure it doesn't happen again - and it hasn't happened in the past either. This is our first experience post all the changes. We will see - the folks took care of us at check in so no complaints and lots of praise for the check in agent.

First time flying Southwest into and out of Hobby Houston. On time arrival, but a very delayed flight out by hours. So why the four stars? Exceptional flight crew flying in. Extra snacks and full cans of water. Bejurve it or not this is unusual. On time arrival into Houston. Great communication when delay was initiated and called my name on overhead to arrange bags. Very unexpected meal vouchers of $15 each. No issues with departure on adjusted timeline. Checked luggage was handled appropriately and arrived at final. I will continue to be loyal although the new baggage fees hurt this time around with vacation. The new boarding worked fine.

I'm loving the total remodel of Houston Hobby airport. It's close to my family so I like flying in. Southwest has been flying here for years. They've added a whole lot more restaurants and services. TSA line moves very quickly and I always have smooth sailing getting in and out of this airport. While the George Washington airport has more flight options this one has the options I need and is always fast and easy.

Southwest out of HOU/Hobby was wonderful! We came in on an international SW flight from Cabo and connected to a domestic flight to Nashville. Both crews were excellent, informative and friendly...especially our crew from HOU to BNA! They were the best crew I've experienced on a Southwest flight to date! Gate crew was solid and efficient as well. Our flights were on time, stayed at the original gates, boarded without issues and got us home on time and safely! The more I fly SW, the more I love them!

Southwest Airlines outdid their selves!! My husband and I flew to & from our honeymoon through Southwest Airlines. On the way back they made sure we had a great celebration. When we boarded the flight there was a ticket that said "Newlyweds" and we were told to give it to the flight attendant. Towards the end of our flight the flight attendants called us to the front and everyone congratulated us on our recent marriage. We were even surprised with handwritten advice napkins from most of the passengers along with a bottle of champagne. It was such a sweet & thought moment that we will always remember and share with our kids one day!!

Southwest One of the go to's for domestic travel. Some history about Southwest: The name was changed to Southwest Airlines Co. in 1971 when the airline began operating as an intrastate airline within Texas. The name reflects the airline's initial focus on serving cities in the southwestern part of the United States, mainly Texas. If you know, you know. Every time we book a flight, it's like we already winning because somehow, some way... we got a deal. Like always. Straight up, Southwest stays coming through with that perfect balance of seaffordability and comfort, and it's been long overdue for me saying this but it's much appreciated. First off, shout out to the unassigned seats. And listen, two free checked bags? Stop playinnnn Flights are usually smooth, on time, and efficient. Complimentary Snacks and Drink? Yessir. Customer service can be a hit or miss, just depends how the staffs mood are. Just give us our complimentary pretzels, a ginger ale, and keep it pushin'. Southwest is that airline for the people.

    Stupid people on the plane.

They make NO accommodations for people with connecting flights. They make it impossible to catch your connecting flight without sprinting to the next gate. They make sure to land at the farthest gate from your connecting flight and then change the gate at the last minute to make you run laps around the fucking airport. Total joke will never fly with them again.

    Sloppy dressed flight attendant

Cheap flight Flight attendant looks like she crawled out of a dumpster. A fellow attendant should have alerted her to this fashion faux pas. See picture

For those who always seem to lose their chargers and cords, they have you in the terminal.

This was a nicer experience on Southwest. The flight attendant crew was nice, friendly and attentive. The plane was clean and stocked. The boarding process was seamless. Kudos to Southwest.

The customer service team assists travelers with managing existing bookings, updating itineraries, exploring alternative travel options, and addressing questions throughout the travel process. As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. Unfortunately, this United Airlines experience fell short of expectations. I paid an extra **$140** for seats that appeared to offer a better arrangement during the booking process. However, after my wife and I boarded the aircraft, we realized the seating layout differed from what had been displayed at purchase. Paying additional fees only to encounter an uncomfortable seating situation was disappointing. My assigned seat, **6K**, lacked adequate cushioning, making the journey more uncomfortable than expected. I relied on extra pillows and blankets for lower back support throughout much of the flight. On longer trips, seat comfort can make a significant difference in the overall passenger experience. The customer service process proved equally frustrating. I first contacted an agent in Detroit seeking clarification regarding my flight details and aircraft information. I was then transferred to another department, believed to be located in Chicago, where I was informed they could not assist and was given yet another number to call. That representative ultimately redirected me back to the original Detroit contact. Only after several calls and repeated explanations did an agent finally provide the information I had requested from the start. After boarding, I found the aircraft itself attractive and well-maintained, and most of the flight attendants appeared hardworking and professional despite managing a busy cabin. However, the overall environment deteriorated as the flight progressed. A number of passengers were noisy and inconsiderate, and the lavatories became increasingly untidy within a few hours, with wet floors and sinks requiring attention. Although the cabin crew deserved recognition for their efforts and professionalism, the inconsistent customer service, uncomfortable seating experience, and declining cleanliness ultimately overshadowed the positives. Based on this experience, I would strongly compare alternatives before booking United Airlines for a similar trip in the Future. My main "put off" was the old, dirty, worn, "ridden hard and put away wet" planes that we had... especially he ROC to CLT flight. I used the restroom and couldn't believe how gross it was. Parts of the trim were peeling off, just looked overly used and icky. American's planes were like night and day from the crisp, new and flashy Delta planes we had on our flights to Rochester. Then there's the technology or lack there of. Delta had fancy touch screens in each headrest allowing you to watch movies, play games, etc. American Airlines did have free entertainment that you had to access through your phone/tablet but there was an issue with trying to get it. On our last flight, the guy sitting next to me helped me get to the entertainment but after that, HE kept getting kicked off his. He kept trying the entire flight and got so frustrated, he quit trying. (I felt bad bc he helped me and I was able to watch a movie and there he was, struggling the whole time.) I got kicked off once but was able to get back on but it was still annoying. Never had issues with Delta. AA had fold out phone/tablet holders and usb charging ports on our second flight. Meh. No refreshments. Wow. I know airlines are getting stingier and stingier but holy moly! When waiting at the gate in Rochester, the gate attendant states over the loud speaker that they will not be serving any snacks/drinks on the flight and that if you wanted something, you needed to get it in the terminal to bring on the plane!! Whoa! The second flight did offer pretzels and a drink but honestly it was super off-putting to not offer anything on that first flight. I wasn't able to get e-tickets to have on my phone so we didn't have to worry about paper tickets. When I checked myself and my 4 year-old in the day prior, it offered digital tickets if you put in your email. So I put in my email for both me and my son... oh, they can't send them to the same email. So apparently, a 4 year-old needs their own email account to be able to get an e-ticket. SO STRANGE!!! Saw that there was an offer for airline credit in you give up your seat. Was tempting BUT I wasn't wanting to fly with them again anyways and we just wanted to get home. Flight attendants weren't overly friendly but they weren't terrible either. Checked bag cost us $30. All in all, American Airlines was completely different than our Delta experience. I won't seek out AA. We WILL be flying Delta again!!

Every single gate agent at the terminals was nasty and unhelpful. Particularly a woman named Shakira, whose hips probably lie like her mouth does. When my flight was rebooked, I asked if she could assign me a new seat she told me straight up to my face that she can't see the Dallas flight she only handles Houston ones. Strangely enough the only helpful woman there WAS able to look it up and even assigned me the seat in the same class I was in on my canceled flight. Shakira's little friend, who knows her name they all had their name tags covered, (I asked Shakira for her name) also treated me with disdain and like she had no time for me, in fact in the middle of our conversation (about my Dallas flight before the other lady stepped in to help) she started other tasks and once she finished those, WALKED AWAY. Walked AWAY. While I've been standing at the counter right in front of her face for at least 20 minutes. When I said to the other woman standing there that had already gone through 4 people behind me that she was helping me and just left... she said oh she must have forgot. She must have forgot? So she helped me and said woman returns she says to her... you forgot about her and she's like "yea she was talking about a voucher yadda yadda yadda" so you didn't like me inquiring about what every single other person is inquiring about when you cancel flights so you choose to ignore me and WALK AWAY?? Fast forward to this morning after having been up for 28 hours now, arrive to the airport to ANOTHER DELAYED FLIGHT. Supposed to leave at 825 now scheduled 905 meaning I will miss a chance for a flight I was first on the standby list for. I now will have a 10 hour layover in Phoenix because it's the best they could get me after the flight delays/cancelations. I said good morning to the gate agent do you know why this flight is delayed? Crew rest. Ok cool can you see if there are any flights out of Phoenix to Reno since I will miss the 10 am one? NO. She will not. Oh ok cool. Thanks for nothing American Airlines workers at IAH.

From booking the ticket to collecting my baggage at the destination, the process felt organized and passenger-friendly. The ticket was booked online a few days before departure. The website was easy to navigate, and all important details such as flight schedule, fare summary, baggage allowance, and seat selection were clearly mentioned. The payment process was quick, and I received confirmation immediately, which gave me confidence that everything was properly arranged. On the day of travel, I completed web check-in to avoid waiting in long lines. At the airport, the ground staff were polite and professional while assisting passengers. They managed the counters efficiently and handled queries calmly. Boarding was announced clearly and carried out in an orderly manner. The flight departed close to its scheduled time, which made the experience more convenient. Inside the aircraft, the cabin was clean and well maintained. The seating was comfortable for an economy-class flight, and the leg space was reasonable. The cabin environment felt calm throughout the journey. The crew members were friendly, attentive, and professional. They responded quickly whenever assistance was required and ensured passengers were comfortable. In-flight service was satisfactory. Meals and beverages were served on time, and the quality was decent. Safety instructions were explained clearly before takeoff, and the crew ensured all guidelines were followed properly. Their communication was polite and reassuring, which added to the overall positive experience. The landing was smooth, and the arrival procedures were handled efficiently. Disembarkation was managed properly, and baggage delivery was timely. My luggage arrived safely without any damage or delay. Overall, the journey was comfortable and hassle-free. While there is always room for minor improvements, such as additional entertainment options or expanded meal choices, the overall service quality was reliable. Based on this experience, I would consider choosing this airline again for future travel.!!

This airport is United Airlines' main hub. Not only that, the options for domestic and international flights are endless. I'd say that George Bush Intercontinental Airport has to be one of the busiest airports around due to the huge crowd of travelers going in and out. The airport was quite gigantic in general and took a bit of time to navigate between gates. There were a total of five passenger terminals (A, B, C, D, E). All of these terminals are connected and can be accessed with either the Skyway train or the Subway train. What stood out to me was the gorgeous, modern presentation of the atmosphere. I loved the installations of the decorative architectural ceiling as well as the colorful LED lights. The nice variety of dining was in abundance. Restaurants included options such as Agave Taqueria, Auntie Anne's, Bam Bam, Chick-Fil-A, Blaze Pizza, El Tiempo, Landry's Seafood, Panda Express, Peet's Coffee, Starbucks, Subway and so much more (the list goes on). In terms of relaxation, massage chairs, children's playing area, lounges, ablution and prayer room, sensory rooms, and Chapel were also available for travelers' use when convenient. As far as shopping, there were clothing stores, markets, designer stores, cosmetics, duty-free stores, etc. Overall, the George Bush Intercontinental Airport - IAH was a wonderful, yet busy airport to fly into. I don't mind returning here for layovers. The concourses may be a lot to navigate through, however, the offerings available from food to relaxation were beyond great.

The airport is clean, has a pet restroom (never seen this before), multiple lounges, restaurants and stores. Two places stood out: Brookstone: For memorial day they had a "happy memorial day" flyer and giving free soda to active duty and veterans. I am personally not a fan of saying happy memorial day. Also, the day is not about celebrating current military. It's to remember those that have fallen. Anyways, thought it was unnecessary they were giving away soda and 40% off. We didn't participate. The blanket we purchased for the plane ride was super soft! Be relax: OMG! Those prices were insane. I didn't snap a photo bc the girl was hovering as I talked it through with my husband. I believe 15 minutes was $60. Smh! In relation to massages, if you are at IAH and near gate D5 (down a few gates from be relax,) , you can get a wonderful massage chair session. The chair was $5 for 15 minutes. It massaged your head, back, and legs. It was great after a 3 hour flight. I will use the airport again!
