I'm good with it. I never got food from this stall. My dad surprised me last week by getting me the Woodside special while he was at this mall. My dad is the best. It was the first time that we got food to consume from this stall. If you are eating there, you have the food court to sit down and enjoy your meal. My dad doesn't like eating in public. He'd sooner come home with takeout. In my case, he brought me this delightful meal. He's my Uber dad! The Woodside special consists of these items: - Two pieces of fried chicken - Fries - A chicken burger - A canned drink My dad knows that I like Diet Coke, so he got me a can. It was cold when I drank it. I had the two pieces of chicken first. He got the non-spicy version. I liked it. It had the perfect seasoning. The chicken was crispy and juicy. It was cooked through. So good! I liked the fries. It has light coating around each fry, which was perfectly seasoned. Each fry was creamy on the inside. The chicken burger was excellent. You got fried, boneless chicken pieces. No patty. It came with lettuce and mayo. The bun was soft and had sesame seeds. The chicken was delicious. The only downside was that it needed more sauce or mayo because it was dry. The Diet Coke helped, but I'd ask for more mayo next time. I'd return for more good eats from this stall. The staff here are Chinese & there're Chinese words on the packaging, so their name must be a not-so-inside joke. The pricing here is odd & the staff are not proactive. After I paid I realised a combo was $1.99 & comes with pop (vs my $3.99 medium fries which were big but still). Plus a paper sign advertised 4 pieces for $10 as a daily special (yet, the TV screen behind advertised 4 pieces for $9.99). So be careful when you order. They offer powders to put on your food: Curry, Cumin, Pepper & Salt and Garlic. These were as advertised (just those powders, so cumin only as opposed to a cumin-based powder) Non spicy chicken pretty good while not outstanding. Spicy was the same with chili flavour. It was quite old so not so good. My medium fries were good - fresh, just a touch greasy & dusted for added bite. I went to this store many times...the food quality, taste and service has improved over time. Today, I order the same combo as usual. 2 spice of chicken, a hamburger, bag if fries and a can of drink. Ordered the chicken cartilage, 2 pc chicken and the 6 pc chicken wings. The total came up to $40 which is pretty pricey in my opinion. The chicken cartilage was good and flavourful but the chicken and chicken wings were soooo greasy and oily that the oil started seeping out of the boxes, which led to a mess.. "Call A Chicken" sounds like it could be some kind of Chinese joke. Anyways, family brought home an order for lunch so cannot comment on the service. It is located at the edge of the food court, inside the mall. A tiny store but easy to locate. The order came with two boxes: the chicken and a box that had a couple napkins plus two disposable gloves. Cannot see from the picture due to angle but the box with the tissues was actually larger than the chicken box. The tissue box honestly seems like a waste of a box. The original deep-fried chicken soft bone was spicy, and it was mostly soft bone. To be honest, was expecting a bit more meat with the soft bone but it was true to its name. There was not much flavour, just fried spiciness. The word "spicy" was not in the name of the item so was not expecting it to be this spicy. "Too hot to handle." It needed some sauce or ketchup which it did not come with. Nothing special and for that price, definitely not worth it. Over $12 for a tiny box, took a picture beside a ketchup pack from the golden arch to compare with (two pieces were eaten already at that point). Overall, will not be returning. Been here a few times and love it! Their chicken burgers are AMAZING and their portions are pretty big (compared to KFC). We bought chicken from Call A Chicken and KFC to find the best deep fried chicken place in the woodside square food court and Call A Chicken was waaay better. They do have daily deals that are only available when you order in person, and they're far more worth it than ordering via ubereats. read more

I bought their chicken wings and a whole chicken. The spicy level was perfect. The meat is tender and tastes great. If you are tired of KFC or Popeyes, Call A Chicken is a great alternative. I want to give 0 star if I can. Terrible customer service and dishonest. I ordered chicken pieces at ubereat and I didn't choose spicy, so I assume I have ordered non spicy chickens. Unfortunately they made all chicken pieces spicy. I asked for exchanged and the cashier started give us different excuses so that we cannot exchange. She explained the store only sells spicy chickens and later said all non spicy chickens sold out and cannot exchange for us. And she also said Uber doesn't have the option to choose non spicy chickens. So after waiting 30 minutes for the chickens, even though we are starving , we have to cancel the order because no one can eat spicy food. When we left the restaurant, I heard the cashier yelled to the kitchen to ask to cook 1/2 spicy and 1/2 non spicy chickens for the next customer.
