The vibe is very chill and clean, I find the pricing to be fair and my hair always takes about 45 to 50 minutes, including the wash, blow dry, and styling. It hurts me to write this but I have to warn others. It has come to my knowledge from my credit card statements that they are intentionally overcharging for my blowouts and have been. When I called to confront them they said well shampoo for blondes is an upcharge, then blamed miscommunications, then claimed happy hour pricing is not for people who don't bring it up. I tip 50 percent to my stylist every time I go. I am seen as a generous individual with short medium hair no extensions. I'm an easy job to do. To take advantage of me is, sneak in up-charges without telling me... then hitting my credit card is a sign of scamming, low morals and ethics. If they're doing it to me who over tips in cash they're doing it to anyone who they think they can!!! Always ask for receipt, and always ask if something as small as a shampoo... is an upcharge...... They are talented blow dry artists and I loved my girl Nicole but I can't go to a business where they are taking advantage of already generous people!! So sad!!!! read more

I came for my 1st visit to Calla and it was wonderful. It's a cute salon that really makes you feel pampered with nice little touches like offering a glass of Prosecco during your service (or other selections of non-alcoholic beverages) Nicole was my stylist and she was so sweet and knowledgeable. She worked quickly but also took her time to do everything just right. She washed my hair extremely well and it felt heavenly! She listened to my request for my style and it showed in all the details. It unfortunately was pouring when I went to leave so Nicole pinned my hair up and put a shower cap on me so my hair would stay nice and dry. Everyone there was super nice. I have been coming to Calla for many years. They are extremely affordable. It is $55 for a blowout. I love how their interior design has evolved. I have gotten my hair blown out before with Larry, Rosa and a few other stylists. Each and every time I visit, I always get the princess treatment! I am always asked if I want champagne, water or coffee. I think this is a wonderful touch. I love being pampered at Calla. The wash is always so relaxing. I love how each stylist includes a mini scalp massage while utilizing the shampoo and conditioner. Each stylist is meticulous no matter which way I want my hair styled (straight or curly). It was about 1:30 PM and I booked the first available stylist (Nicole) at 2:00 PM. Nicole was absolutely amazing. She lathered my hair and massaged my scalp with heavenly hands. The products smelled floral, clean and amazing, and when it came time to rinse, she asked if a cold rinse was okay - which I always appreciate.
