I have been coming to Calla for many years. They are extremely affordable. It is $55 for a blowout. I love how their interior design has evolved. I have gotten my hair blown out before with Larry, Rosa and a few other stylists. Each and every time I visit, I always get the princess treatment! I am always asked if I want champagne, water or coffee. I think this is a wonderful touch. I love being pampered at Calla. The wash is always so relaxing. I love how each stylist includes a mini scalp massage while utilizing the shampoo and conditioner. Each stylist is meticulous no matter which way I want my hair styled (straight or curly). I ALWAYS end up loving the end result! Calla is 10/10! read more

I honestly can't believe I've never reviewed this place. I've been coming to Calla Blow Bar in Pinecrest basically since they opened! This is hands down my go to spot whenever I need a great blowout or some curls done. They're consistently amazing and the prices are super reasonable. I always buy the package of four blowouts, which saves you about $20, and it's totally worth it if you come often like I do. I've probably had my hair done by every stylist here at some point and they've all been fantastic, professional, talented, and super sweet. I've even gotten my makeup done here before and they did a phenomenal job! Whether it's for an event or just a treat yourself day, this place always delivers. The owner is also incredibly nice and welcoming, which just adds to the great experience. This place was recommended to me and it did not disappoint...! Service requested: 1. Hair blow-dry, curled and pinned: Katie did a phenomenal job curling and pinning my daughter's hair for senior phots. She is friendly, knowledgeable and really good with her clients. More importantly, my daughter loved her look...! 2. Makeup: Joselyn is absolutely a "Calla" gem. She does beautiful makeup. She's easy to work with, understands skin types and beauty style preferences. More importantly, her makeup is always age appropriate, elegant and classy. 3. I needed a quick blow dry after running a bunch of errands at The Falls, so I searched for the closest blow dry bar and Calla Blow Dry was the first to pop up, and with raving reviews at that. It was about 1:30 PM and I booked the first available stylist (Nicole) at 2:00 PM. Nicole was absolutely amazing. She lathered my hair and massaged my scalp with heavenly hands. The products smelled floral, clean and amazing, and when it came time to rinse, she asked if a cold rinse was okay - which I always appreciate. The vibe of the salon is really cute and girly, while also being exceptionally clean, organized and welcoming. They play good music and circulate the air, providing for a great atmosphere for a blow dry. I absolutely loved my experience at Calla Blow Dry and my beach waves came out fantastic. From the moment you book in it's always such a good experience, they always call or text you to confirm your appointment. Everyone is so welcoming when you enter and your beauty treatment begins shortly after walking in. I have had my hair done several times by different people and have never had a bad experience! There is some parking in the front and my blow drys always last days ! I hurt my shoulder and am unable to wash my own hair and they have been saving my life truly grateful ! read more

The best service and most knowledgeable colorists! Expert guidance every time to get me to the color and tone that I want. As always, I'm so obsessed with how my color, cut & blow out turned out. This second half of my review is updated years later, I not only continue to receive all of my hair services here at this wonderful salon, but I continue to be so happy with everything that they pull off that I ask for. My daughters are both loyal customers now as well along with various friends of theirs and mine. Came across this gem by doing a search on Yelp. So glad I did. I called for an appt but they were full. I was offered to be placed on a waiting list. The next morning I received a call they had a cancellation for Christmas Eve morning. Upon arrival the owner greeted me and offered something to drink. My blow dry tech was so sweet and friendly. I absolutely loved how my hair turned out. I will definitely continue to come! I am so glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews. I didn't mind and went with another stylist, Luz. She was so sweet and amazing! I have thick hair and my hair had absolutely no shape. She really made my hair feel and look beautiful! It was the best decision I made. I definitely recommend Luz. She asked for photo references and it looked just like the photo! She pays attention to detail. I cannot wait to go back in a few months. Highly recommend! I love the music and how clean the location was. 10/10.

I wanted a root touchup, but left with a glaring yellow that I was told would fade into the rest of my hair over time but only looked cheap. To be fair, I get it. My hair texture is different and maybe a challenge for some stylists but the results were disastrous, I had to spend more at another salon just to cover up the bad job. I have a horrific experience here and it alllll started when I called to book an appointment with a MASTER STYLIST and long behold I was placed with the lady who does nails and they were TRAINING to cut hair. SHE REUINED MY HAIR!!! Please refer to the photo. I mean it will be years before I can grow my bangs out, they go all the way back into by head far beyond my ears. BUT. I don't blame the stylist, she's new to the game. I BLAME THE STAFF. Starting from the receptionist who booked me with a trainy when I asked for a MASTER STYLIST. Down to the manager who I have yet to hear back from regarding a my refund. She litteraly just doesn't want to give me my money back and this happened In OCTOBER and we are now a few days short of JANUARY!!!
