This salon is fabulous! They are always on time - I have been probably dozens of times for blow dries and they have never run late. Everyone is super friendly and they offer coffee and other beverages on the cutest little pink tray! The blow dries are fabulous and you can tell the staff is happy to work there. Can't say enough good things! I also appreciate that the owner had Hanukkah decor over the holidays and sells cute Star of David jewelry. Racist action! Don't bring girls with curly hair here. I have done my hair along with my daughter at this salon MANY times. Never have I had an issue, until today! I made an online appointment for my Blowdry and for my daughter to wash her hair. I then called to add hair dye for myself and Dutch braids for my daughter. All good, RIGHT? After check in, They sat me on a chair and Gen began to do my hair. She then told me that she could not do my daughters hair for lack of time and that she had another client coming in (who never showed by the way). We booked from 10:30-1. Ultimately GEN saw a little biracial girl and did not want to touch her hair! Well at least that's how my 11 year old bi-racial daughter felt! The very friendly owner chose to ignore what was going on. Did not care that my daughter was not getting her hair done. I sure did let her know exactly how I would be reviewing the salon. She said that some people just don't feel comfortable touching THAT hair! (All in front of my princess of course) For Gods sake it was two simple braids! So she apparently is fine with this type of discrimination. I suggested she advertise that her girls don't feel comfortable doing "that" type of hair. So here I am more than willing to help her get the word out. So much for being a loyal customer! They will NEVER see me nor my little BEAUTIFUL princess again. Tiny but very cute and quaint blow dry spot. I was in need of a pick me up and they were able to accommodate me with very short notice. Kayla was very sweet and was very attentive. First impressions were good. I walked in and was ignored for a bit because everyone was in the back. But finally some people came out and helped us out. They were super nice and helpful to our group and used some good smelling soaps on our hair, but didn't ask about soap preferences. In the chair, it was nice. They give you hot tea but you pretty much just have to hold it or bare it in your lap because there's no table within reach for you to set it down on. I was really excited to try a new blow bar but it totally flopped. I loved my hair after, it looked amazing. But after that it was over. The blow lasted one day. Yup. Woke up next day, flat and gone. But that's not even the worst part. For the next two weeks, anytime my hair got WET a terrible smell came. Like improperly applied hair Botox...I don't know what treatment they did to my hair but it took awhile for my body to naturally get rid of that crap! the smell was truly unbearable and I wash my hair each day so every time in the shower I had to deal with this. As a side note, other people came in with appointments after us and didn't get seen until 2 hours later...ridiculous. Not to mention the new owner herself was there but I guess she knows nothing about hair because she didnt pick up and help anyone at any point! She was just watching creepily from the back, peeking her head out. Uhhh ok?? Either way, won't be back. The place is cute but they had 1 song on repeat the entire time and they were pretty disorganized; did a bad job and f**ed my hair. No thanks, Calla! read more

I don't remember my hairstylist name but he was very sweet knew exactly how I wanted it styled and my hair is still holding 3 days later! Would recommend this place to anyone is the area. This is a small blow dry bar in a cheapo strip mall on US 1 in Pinecrest, They charge more for a wash and blow dry than Live Blow Dry, Blow n Dry, and Blown Away, all located in way more expensive locations nearby. I saw a woman two days ago being charged $65 for a trim. All of the other bliw dry bars charge $40 for a wash and blow dry. Here you'll pay $45. I think the owner must have an over-inflated image of her salon to charge top dollar for their services. I just wanted to warn people in advance. You have choices and don't have to pay more for this place. read more

Bad customer service. I asked for water 3 time and finally a different lady brought it to me. I had 2 ladies working my hair. I was being pulled in every direction. They want to stay on schedule so I can give them credit for that but not at the cost of a good experience. From the moment I walked in the door and they saw my hair they were bothered. I get may hair done weekly. Yes I have a lot of hair but it's not curly. It's very easy to blow out. Sadly, I will not return. This is a convenient salon to where I work but not worth the treatment. Place is overbooked. I was told that they would not be able to accommodate a ponytail hairstyle. Only a simple blowout because the salon was too busy with Prom clients . I made my appointment 2 weeks + in advance . Another time I went for nail art, the technician pretty much ignored me and listened to a crime podcast the entire time . Which was fine, the less talking the better. Place is small and you can feel crowded at times. It's overpriced for what you get and for it's location. Within walking and seeing distance to a strip joint. Just bc they have a balloon arch and some pampas grass for decor does not mean you're gonna get good customer service. Where do I go begin! I have heard many good things about this salon from multiple people regarding the service they received here, well let me just say that I was not disappointed. From the moment I walked in I was acknowledged and offered a beverage while it was my turn, I had showed up early. I had scheduled a full color and hair cut service and boy oh boy was I glad I had listen to others about coming to the salon. My stylist was Larry and he listened to what I wanted done and how to correct the brassines I had on my hair. He informed me that my hair was uneven and he would fix that, when he began the process he was very kind and always asking if I was comfortable with how he was washing my hair and made sure the water was not too hot and just right. After correcting my hair the color turned out amazing even better than I had hoped for. When Larry began the styling style he asked how I would like it to be styled and also made sure that he wasn't yanking my hair. Overall I was extremely happy with this salon and will be making appointments at least twice a month for a blow dry and styling. I can't wait to share my experience with others. read more
