The best BLT in Maryville and the best fries in eastern Tenn. I haven't tried the rest of the menu but I plan on going back.

This was a nice little find! Food was good and the husband loved the pimento Mac and cheese. Staff was very nice and ordering was very easy.

The wraps are the best! Actually everything I've eaten is delicious. I'm never disappointed in the food or the service.

My kids got a hotdog and tater tot's, along with a grilled cheese sandwich and fries. My husband got the 11oz bacon cheeseburger with fries. I got the chicken burger with sweet potato fries. This is our 4th time being here and we love it! Definitely love the ambiance and the pinball machines out in the front. Was disappointed the candy machine and the claw machine didn't work. We will definitely be back.

Johnny B Good all the way to Alcoa Tennessee…read more I had read some review on Yelp, - Thank you fellow Yelpers! and had Hot Rod's 50's Diner on my list. We pulled into the parking lot, and I could hear my compadre, RIP, say to me, ' Si está ocupado, va a ser bueno." If its busy, its going to be good. The parking lot was full and the inside of the restaurant was busy. We walked in and our Mom who was a teenager during the 50's loved the decor and signage and my brother immediately gravitated towards the pinball machines. We sat down at a booth. The booths are a little tight if you're tall and have had a couple of cheeseburgers over the years. The good news is that the table is moveable Our server Finch was delightful. By the way, it was her Birthday on the day we were there and even though she was working on her Birthday, she was still having a lot of fun. The regular menu is HUGE. I'm not talking Cheesecake Factory HUGE, I'm talking about triple that...... There's about 50 different burgers and I'm probably missing some. There's burger with a fried bologna slice and american cheese There's a burger with Military Chow The menu is clear to understand but there's an overwhelming amount of choices. I didn't see the vegan menu in the regular menu so I politely asked Finch for the vegan menu, and she skipped back to me with it. Wow - A lot of choices as well. Hot Rod's uses Beyond Meat for some of their burgers but they also custom craft their veggie burgers. The vegan cheese on my burger was most likely Follow Your Heart or Violife, but it was properly melted. The Beyond Burger was a frozen slab without any seasoning but cooked through. I would have preferred some seasoning but hey - I'm not going to knock it. The portion of fries is massive. The vegan ranch is Follow Your Heart and was a nice dipping sauce for the fries. My brother had a buffalo chicken sandwich and my mom had the reuben. We all shared the vegan banana split. Hot Rod 50's Diner as stated by another Yelp reviewer may be the best diner in the United States.

While small, the service was great and we didn't go without contact with our waitress extended period of time. The food was good but not incredible. We were greeted right away and were able to take a table. Small dining area, with very limited seating. Nice warm cozy vibe including Bob Ross on the tv. The food came out quickly. Hot and fresh. I got the Snoring Bear Breakfast. I chose the Cajun seasoning for the tilapia and it was a lil bland. I probably could have asked for more seasoning, so that's on me. The rest was great. Eggs cooked to perfection. My wife chose the fish platter and she said the fish was delicious. The fries were a lil over seasoned and she had to rub some of the fries off. As for the drinks, cans of Coke, Sprite, etc are $1.99 each. A lil pricey but it is clearly marked on the menu. My only complaint is I ordered a water and was charged 50 cents. It's not listed anywhere on the menu, so I was surprised to see it on my bill. Overall, I would probably stop here again for a quick bite if I'm in the area. Nice little place, and the service is great!

When we drove up, the owner was casually replacing the thermostat in his RHD Mini so, as car enthusiasts ourselves, stopped to chat before we went in. Seat yourself wherever you want. They have love bands or karaoke every Friday night. Now to the important parts - Julie was our server and she was amazing. She kept an eye on us even when a large party came in that sat in her area. Drinks stayed replenished and lots of updates on food. I ordered the Southern Belle burger with beer battered fries and fried green tomatoes as an app. Both were absolutely amazing. The burger was huge and you could tell it was a handmade patty grilled to perfection. The juice just poured out when you bit into it, so maybe tuck a napkin in your shirt LOL. My son ordered a Hot something that had a spicy sweet BBQ sauce on it and he said it was "bussin.'" He also ordered fries as his side and fried pickles as his app. There was nothing left when he was done. The servings are well proportioned and I left full with half my food available to eat later. I got a photo of my fried green tomatoes, but as a fat kid, I forgot to take a photo of my burger. Just trust me. It was absolutely worth every reasonably priced penny and every moment we waited. Do yourself a favor and stop by and enjoy.
