Best Reuben Sandwich I've had in decades! Veggie sandwich is also very good! Drinks are supertall and staff is friendly!

    Half club and potato soup
    Donald R.

My wife and I were in the mood for soup and a sandwich, so we stopped by here. It was very busy on a Sunday afternoon, but all of the service went quickly. We walked right up to the register and each ordered the half club and cup of potato soup. We took our seats, and our food was delivered to our table within about 10 minutes. The sandwich was was very good. I especially like the sweet mustard they used to create a unique and tasty flavor. The potato soup was a bit bland, but hearty. Overall, it was a good meal and a good value as well. Employees were constantly keeping up with bussing and cleaning the tables for the steady stream of customers.

Great lunch spot. I've always had efficient service and high quality food. I especially love their salads. Today I tried their Pecanberry salad and it was wonderful. The blueberries were enormous and so sweet. My husband had a loaded potato and loved every bite.

That was $8.09. Described as four cheeses with tomato

That was $8.09. Described as four cheeses with tomato. When I took it to the young man at the front, he just shrugged me off. I was obviously not pleased with my order and what I had received, but no one seemed to care. The lack of training with complaint resolution was horrible. They also left off my wife's soup. When I approached the counter and asked for it, the young man had to convince the lady in the back, obviously the one in charge, to let me have it. She grimaced like it was a scam. Horrible guest interaction again. The lack of training showed throughout. The young man asked the question, "anything else?" after every item ordered. No suggestive selling or up sell. I do not frequent this establishment, but my wife absolutely loves the club and the sweet tea. If I do return, I won't be ordering the cheese melt and soup, not for $8.09. I don't care how much purveyor prices have increased, that's got to be a 10% food cost item there! Also, I understand the effect staffing levels and lack of applicants had had on businesses, especially the hospitality industry. But, it is my opinion that when you have only a select few that will do the job that many should be doing, you train these individuals extremely well and follow up with support and guidance. I saw none of this today.

Everything came to our table pipping hot. We had the fried green tomatoes, the club, and the notorious pig! Everything was fresh and didn't leave us feeling overly full and gross. I was well aware prices have gone up at least a dollar from the entire menu, and we do enjoy the food, but to set the expectation of "average" menus item being $14, and burgers $14.75-$16.75, you've got to do better. Thankfully the server made the entire experience great. She has served us multiple times and understands our special needs for our son. *We'll definitely be back, but I this industry will not survive "expecting" 20% and doing that to guests. (That servers we had will always get a generous tip from us) ***It's gong to come down to asking to be sat in specific server's section.

I especially like the restaurant atmosphere. It's very comfortable, upper scale and no matter how packed you can have a conversation with your table mates and everyone can be heard. The bar has most of the standards...even higher end options. It never ceases to irk me that they either don't carry Hendricks gin or are always out. Must try dish at Bella is Pasta in the Wheel. I really like that they take reservations; it gives the whole place a true date night vibe. We started with the truffle fries, which are always a great choice (Added ranch on the side of course). Next time I'm definitely planning to try the artichokes and Brussels sprouts: they looked amazing coming out to other tables. For drinks, I tried the Greenway seasonal cocktail and it was my favorite of the night--really well balanced and something I'd order again without hesitation. I also sampled the cucumber basil martini, which was fine but not quite as good even though it's in a similar flavor profile. The Gold Coast was another solid option, just very strong and on the boozier side. Food-wise, I probably should have stuck with what they do best (the pasta and cheese wheel with added chicken) but I tried the mushroom rigatoni instead. It had a good base flavor, but it was a bit heavy on the pepper the night I went, which overpowered it for me. I'd skip that one next time. I'm curious to go back and try the short rib or the vodka sauce pasta instead. To finish, the chocolate pot de crème was perfect: rich, smooth, and just the right portion. If you only want a few bites of dessert, it's ideal. Overall, Bella is still a go-to for me, especially for a nice dinner or date night atmosphere.

She was attentive without hovering, had great recommendations, and made our first visit even better. We started with cocktails, and I couldn't decide between the Clover Club and the Crimson Mirage. I'm so glad we tried both! The Crimson Mirage was beautiful, served in a dainty glass with a flower petal sugar rim, but the Clover Club stole the show with its silky egg white foam. We also ordered the focaccia bread and made the best decision of the night by saving a few pieces to dip into the spicy lobster bisque. Do not skip the bisque! It may be a small portion, but it's packed with flavor. And despite the name, it wasn't very spicy at all. I don't handle much heat, and it was perfectly mild. For dinner, we shared the surf and turf with lobster. Everything was excellent. I got to try the filet cooked medium-rare with the rich demi-glace, along with the mashed potatoes and asparagus, which were cooked perfectly. We also ordered the baked potato, and it's definitely large enough to share. Pro tip: use the leftover butter from the focaccia with the potato--it was delicious! We wanted dessert, but we were simply too full. That just gives us another reason to come back. We also learned they have a happy hour at the bar, which is now on our list. The atmosphere was one of our favorite parts. It's dark, cozy, and has a sophisticated lounge vibe. Watching the bartender enthusiastically shaking cocktails added to the experience, and we appreciated that there seems to be both a lively bar area and a more traditional dining room. Raven is a fantastic addition to the downtown strip. We can't wait to come back and try the scallops.

We started very early this evening 6/22 at Raven with res in the lounge for two. Two couples at the bar and no tables taken when we arrived. We were seated at the absolute worst table in the lounge, looking at the curtains and only 1/4 view of bar. We asked to move 4 ft over to the corner booth to see into the room. We remained the only table occupied for 50 min...why did they choose to shut us out in the corner? Cocktails, wine, split the wedge salad, excellent. Waygu burger great, but our Coral Gables neighborhood Ruth's Chris NY Strip is better. When our waitress asked if we wanted dessert we said no...our waitress, who had been lovely, said she wasn't surprised and it was 'impressive' how much we ate...she was saying we ate a lot? one app/2 entrees? At $260. We will not be back.

Actually I'd say the food we ate there was fine; nothing special or unique but solid, decent. Wife had bourbon-glazed salmon and I had a cajun chicken with shrimp. Our problems came elsewhere. Items on the menu not available, long waits between points of service, bill with errors- just too many small things like that. The place was not at all crowded, so that was not the reason for any such issues. One suggestion-- reduce the clutter! I think each of us had THREE menu pages to look at-- regular menu, special menu (with many of the same items in the regular menu), drink menu which I believe also had items of the regular menu...just too much clutter there. The server was nice, but didn't seem to know what items came with each entree, messed up the final bill (3 entrees for 2 people-- not something you shouldn't notice pretty quickly), and as I said, was not around at many points. Again, I realize it's just a chain restaurant. For a few dollars more we could have had more creative food, better service and more options for drinks that were available.
