Drove into Maryville to help my sister move. Once we were done, I drove the family to Chicken salad Chick and we ordered a large sassy Scotty, one scoop of fancy Nancy, 2 croissants, and 2 drinks. If I had known the staff was remedial I would have checked the bag. Alas, I drive all the way back to pigeon forge to discover the large sassy Scotty that was gonna feed my family wasn't there. I call up there and was told no food was left behind. I hang up, check the receipt, and realized somebody was lying. When I confronted the young lad about the mistake, he started laughing and said he could issue a refund but would need all the card info. I actually loved this place. Everyone in town would have lunch and grab 4 large containers to take home, They did replace a container when I got home nobody would touch and when I smelled it was bad. Although the manager said was made fresh there, the container had another address on it. So I think it is also brought in. My last couple visits the flavors seem to be more blah. Beware, if you're going on a Saturday, they can run out of the various flavors of chicken salad, since they're closed on Sundays and don't want too much left over that they'll have to throw away. I came on a Saturday, but was flexible and my choices still had a lot of great sounding options. I chose the Barbie-Q chicken salad on a croissant with a side of broccoli salad which comes with bacon on top. Included was a pickle and a small cookie. All were excellent. The barbeque flavor was not overpowering but gave the chicken salad a nice twist from the usual. The salad was delicious. Service was friendly, the place was super clean and cute. Food is very good. Unfortunately, Grayson (management/ shift runner?) does not understand how customer service within a restaurant works. To any potential customers, Grayson believes that any employees that work there are allowed to forget food items in a to-go order that you paid for that one realized after leaving, that you are only entitled to get "reimbursed" for that item at a later date. No apology for the screw up or an extended gesture for a customer having to take time out of their day to go and pick up an item that they forgot to include. Good to know Grayson. Even tho the salads are very good the manager thinks you can leave chicken salad at room temperature for 4 hours . She said theirs is made to be able to stay at room temperature by law lol . You can get it on a sandwich, in a wrap, or just a simple scoop. Combine it with a side or a bowl of soup and you have a good meal. The strawberry lemonade is great on a hot day. I decided to try this place for lunch today. I wasn't disappointed. I never add chicken salad before so I just got the original flavor. I got Mac and cheese as a side. I didn't get a drink. It was $8.77 with tax. I ordered it to go and it said it would be 25 minutes. I got there in ten minutes after I ordered it and it was already ready. I don't know why it told me 25 minutes when it only took 10 minutes. I really enjoyed it! The sandwich was a good size. I really enjoyed the Mac and cheese. I was pleasantly surprised by this place, it's a good spot for a decent price to lunch. The basic lunch with a chicken salad sandwich or scoop and side is eight dollars and that's pretty reasonable in today's world. I tried two different chicken salads and both were very tasty, even though I really prefer the chicken salad with larger chunks whereas their's is the more finally ground up type. This is fast casual dining; you wait in line and order your food at the counter and it's brought to your table. The inside dining area was larger than I had thought, and even with some tables taken out of service for health precautions, there were plenty of tables both inside and out for dining. We were pleased with the number of options, both in many different types of chicken salad and in the sides which included mac & cheese, soups, and chips, etc. I have never been to one of these until today and now that I know the chain, I would not hesitate to go back if I was in the mood for chicken salad. read more

They recruited our nonprofit to host a dine-out night, where some of the night's proceeds would be donated to our organization. We were very happy with how the night went, had a good crowd, and raised some very needed money for our organization. That was six months ago. At first, it was everyone else's responsibility to process the payment. Now, our calls and emails have gone unanswered/ignored in attempts to find out when/how our organization would receive our donation. They do have a couple tables outside which are nice on a pretty day. After hearing the founder's interview on the How I Built This podcast I was excited to try out Chicken Salad Chick. Well, I'm not so sure this location is up to Stacy's standards. Pros: food was good but nothing crazy good to make you want to come back Cons: Justin, the "manager", barely addressed us as we approached the counter. Perhaps he had a bad day or was high. They were fairly quick despite me having a large order of 5 different sandwiches and they were very busy since this was close to noon on Friday. Did try the barbie-q BLT and it was amazing. It was very difficult to reach their customer service but once I did, a Senior VP called me right back and was very concerned and went out of his way to warn our confidence back. When I was ordering, the girl was very rude by raising her voice when I couldn't understand whether she was saying "side" or "size." We have only used the drive-thru and the customer service has been great. Tried pimento cheese, egg salad and chicken salad, broccoli salad and grape salad. It is higher than McDonalds my other favorite, but well worth the change. It is a welcome change from regular fast food. Potions are great. If you are hunger afterwards, it is your fault for not eating it all (if you can). Always fresh have tried a lot of the chicken salads. The cookie is a little treat.
