She is super sweet and really takes her time to make sure you're comfortable and happy with the results of your nails. The area is super cute as well. I paid $41 plus tips for my service and I feel Like it was a reasonable amount considering the fact that she knows what's she's doing with a lot of experience. Same thing happened with the next technician except this time the spa sends me a text telling me they don't have a replacement technician to serve me and I need to go somewhere else for this service. Just like that. The spa only has a small back corner for nails and only a few colors of nail polish to choose from. I have been seeing Tika for several years and she's the best! A previous salon I had gone to used permanent color (it was nearly black for a year or so) on my hair (I was unaware) and I wanted to be blond when I saw Tika and she made it happen after a few services! I just wanted to update my review even though it's still the same. Regarding their hair salon, they have done such a wonderful job with my hair! The first time that I went to get my hair done, I just decided to get it cut. Hazel was great with getting my hair to a healthy length with a cute style. She is so sweet! I tend to get my hair highlighted every few months but it's been difficult to find a salon that can get my hair to the exact shade that I want. But they've done it! McKale was wonderful with listening to me and she truly delivered with the final results. Yeah I don't recommend this salon. I booked to get my hair done, and the "stylist" given to me had no clue what to do.. she took it upon herself to go to the back and gossip to her coworker about me and my hair. I won't get into details about what she all said and the first time I brushed it off. She was so unprofessional. Then wanted to give me a completely different look on what I asked for. I understand with my hair going as light as I want wasn't gonna be achievable In one session but it seemed like all she really knew what to do was to apply more dark color to my hair even though I'm trying to go lighter. I was practically sitting in that chair for an hour alone. I only saw her like three times for 2 minutes at most. She couldn't give me services I wanted and kept asking others on what she should do.. clearly not knowing how to do hair.. she made me so uncomfortable I wasn't going to allow her to do my hair. Maybe , in my opinion, she shouldn't be talking about her clients rudely to coworkers so loudly that they can hear.. or maybe don't even be rude period. She could've at least waited till I was done with my service or spoke quieter if she really needed to talk about me. Really unprofessional on her part, I tried being a pleasant customer but instead of making me feel like my hair was in good hands she made it the opposite. Please don't come to this salon especially don't book with Brooke. I read a review previous to this one and they also had a bad experience with her. They recommended the signature facial, which is wonderful since it gets customized to your needs and lets your esthetician adjust the treatment as needed. We arrived 30 mins early so we could fill out forms and then relax in the lounge. There is tea, hot lavender neck pillows, a bubbling fountain, and options to help you relax or meditate. It's so nice to just take a second and unwind in a robe and comfy slippers before your facial or massage. Kjarsti did an amazing job with my signature facial and provided excellent care with each step. The winter and traveling have been really drying for my skin, so the super hydrating treatments were exactly what I needed. She expertly applied each treatment and my skin feels amazing. This is an amazing salon and spa! I have gotten waxed from 3 different women. Jessica, Darby and I don't remember the thirds name, but she was wonderful too! I had gotten a pedicure from Madison and I have yet to make an appointment for a facial! I also have a few personal friends who are hair stylists who love it there. I want to leave a great review, but they can't seem to earn it no matter how many chances I've given them. My first stylist Etika took it upon herself to decide that brushing my hair was considered styling it, not asking or doing what I wanted, than complaining about being too tired due to pregnant to complete her job. I tried a second stylist Brooke who did a great job the first time, so I went back again and it was not the same experience. She was so busy preaching LDS she forgot to cut 2/3 of my hair. The front desk helped by setting up an appointment for me to get a fix, during that appointment Brooke told me by booking a full womens haircut that I was not asking for a full hair cut. That her job is to educate me and I should have told her to "dust" my hair. As absurd as this is for a client to use stylist lingo, I communicated this and said I booked a full womens haircut. Brooke said it was MY problem for not being educated and she will fix my mistake. I have no idea how this salon is in business. I have asked the owners and managers to call me, and no one has. The employees seemed very friendly and the place is very clean and looks great, but it seems extremely overpriced for the very short pedicure you get there. I have had waxes by more than 10 people around Utah and elsewhere and Jess leaves everyone else in the dust.
