Most auto transport companies simply function as brokers which is great until something goes wrong and then you are left to deal with the problem on your own - NOT with Guardian Auto Transport! Not only is their customer service excellent but I especially want to acknowledge Andrea who always goes the extra mile to stay in touch with updates all the way until our vehicle is received. A few years ago we had a bad experience with a transport company brokered by Guardian that damaged our car in transit. We received it on a weekend so I assumed that I would have to wait until Monday to hear back from Guardian Auto Transport customer service but to my surprise I not only had follow up calls on Saturday from Andrea but also got a response from a supervisor on Sunday as well. The transport company didn't want to take responsibility for damage done but we had a video prior to our car being unloaded showing the damage & Guardian Auto Transport really went to bat on our behalf & the transporter had to pay for the damage they caused by loading our car improperly. We just had our car shipped from Los Angele to Seattle & it arrived in pristine condition & the driver was a great communicator as well. I thank all who were involved with getting our vehicle to us safely & in a timely manner. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for & Guardian Auto Transport & their fabulous employees really deliver!!

I guess I should have been wary when Ebay offered to transport the vehicle I purchased, a (2003 Mazda Miata) for free, They obviously took the low bidder for the actual transporting part of their sales program. To begin with communication between Acertus and myself (Buyer) and the Seller was non existant,. The Seller in New York did not receicve notice of actual pick up until the driver showed up at his door step on a late friday evening. The car was loaded onto the hauler at 10:00 PM. I was informed that the car could possibly be delivered to me on the following Tuesday . However communication went dark almost immmediattely after the pick-up. No one at Acertus knew where the driver was and when my delivery was to be expected. The Seller and I where definitely feeling uncertain about the where abouts and the status of the car. Finally, approximately 10 days after picking up the car I got a call from the transport driver that my car was about 1/4 mile down the dirt road from house and ready to be picked up by me. So my wife and I went down the road to pick it up. Upon arrival at the scene (large transport truck with apprioxinmately 8 to 10 cars on it was stuck at the entry of our road adjacent to highway 518 with 5 or 6 of my neighbors attempyting to manuever their vehicles around it). My Miata was already unloaded and was on a side road about 50 yards away from the transport truck. I could see right away that the convertible top had a couple of holes in it, (NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING). After driving it home I called the Seller and we determined that the car had to be damaged in route somehow. It was obvious that they attempted to hide the damage by replacing the blown out back glass window with a piece of pleziglass using excessive amounts of silicone caulk to hold it in place. There was small pieces of safety glass all over the place, it was a mess, the top was a total loss. My wife and I live in Taos New Mexico which is a smaller mountian town. We have approached several car repair places here and the Mazda Dealership in Santa Fe NM regarding getting the top replaced, with no luck. Eventually we got a tip to talk to Upholstry companies regarding replacing the top and now have 2 companies vying for the work. I have met with the two and determnined that I would like to replace the top with a quality top ( Canvas material with a tempered glass window ) made by Robbins Corporation, WHICH IS A HIGHLY REGARDED SPECIALTY TOP PRODUCTION COMPANY REGONIZED IN THE INDUSTRY. The lowest bid for this top was $2,404.00 for the top plus approximately 9 hours of labor factored in the price. I'm think these numbers are good and fair having spent quite a bit of time comparing and pricing possible tops on the internet. However Acertus will not approve either of the bids claiming that there is not enough detail in the bids. Unfortunately thats not how the replacement companies make their bids. They take the replacement bid from the manufactures derscription of the replacement top and adding on the expected labor cost to get the total of the bid. They have enough experience in using the tops put together by the manufactures to know the quality or lack of quality from the makers of the tops. I'm totally comfortable with the lowest bid that I'm going ahead with the replacement knowing the I'll never get reimbursed by the transport company, it's either that or never get a top for this car,

We needed the car to be dropped off at the correct spot on on a specific date, fortunately for us the company we hired was very reliable and they managed to get it there on time.
