Which could definitely be attributed to the time of day/year as it was like 6am and right around the holidays. Maybe they had trouble finding a driver. I do get that. This possibility is why I gave 2 stars instead of just 1 star. Driver was extremely rude and brought the incorrect type of truck. This is inexcusable. Luckily the highway patrol called their own tow truck or else we would have had to wait even longer for this guy to go back and get a wrecker. (Also our accident was in an extremely unsafe area to just be waiting around.) I think they are one of the only towing options in Troy, but if something happens, try to find another towing options if possible.

If not, here it is: I was on my way home from work one night and my rear tire blew up as I was driving on highway 64. I managed to make it home after my car insurance had it towed by another company (I don't even know who it was to be honest). The next morning I needed to find a way to get my car to the Plaza Tire in Manchester. I spend half the morning looking for reputable tire places in the area and the other half looking for towing companies. I saw the excellent reviews on Yelp and decided to give this company a try. Let me just say that I have never met a kinder person that worked at a towing company. Not only did he get here within about 15 minutes but he also was very careful with my car and the best part, gave me a ride to the tire place. Some tow companies (at least in Texas and Cali) won't do that for you and will tell you to get an Uber or friend. I was so glad I could get to the tire place and found it was also about an 8 mile drive away. He talked about the area once he knew I wasn't from here and gave me a lot of information that I found really interesting. He was very professional and gave me an amazing price for the tow. I am hoping I am never going to need my car towed again but if I do, this is the ONLY company I want to tow my car. If you need a tow, this is the place to call!

I had a bad experience once where I'd forgotten to put the emergency brake on- and the car fell off the jack and almost cut off my friends legs. Yeah- NOT COOL. So, when I had a flat recently and called a firestone emergency number and they called up these guys, I was super pleased just to know I wouldn't have to do it myself. It was a dark rainy night, I was way out in Chesterfield (I'm a city girl), and I'd just hit the hugest pothole of my life and blew out my tire. I can't say I was in the calmest of moods. But this guy named Barry from Suntrup Towing saved the day. He showed up 10 minutes earlier than projected and had the friendliest attitude. He let me sit in his truck and mess with his radio. He had a very calming and genuine personality. He mentioned the many other people broken down that night too- it made me feel like less of a schmuck. Instead I felt "one" with the community. Yes, EVERYONE breaks down. I'm ONE OF YOU. See? Calming. The fee for the tire change was a little steep. But hey- I wasn't freaking out anymore. I'll pay your $85 nighttime rate, and thanks for the mental peace.

We called our regular roadside service company through our insurance and the company they called said they could only install a spare tire, or tow us to a tire shop, and when they found it was a motorhome they were not interested in the business. We called another shop that specialized in truck tires and they said they would be there in an hour, but four hours later they had never showed up. I called several other facilities who either told us that our vehicle was too big to service (they worked on cars and pickups) or it was too small to service (when I called a semi truck tire shop). Our RV is a Ford F53 truck chassis on which many smaller commercial trucks are built. After several other calls, with the day slipping away, I called Warrenton Tire and Muffler on the advice of a local Missouri RV dealer. Even though we were 40+ miles from them, they said they'd be there in 45 minutes--I was skeptical after my earlier experience, but they were there in 43 minutes (I kept track). The service person they sent--I wish I'd gotten his name--was polite, professional and knowledgeable. He quickly discovered the problem and had it repaired in about 15 minutes. While he was there he checked the other five tires on our RV which was a good thing because he found another tire dangerously low on pressure. The price they charged me for all that was MUCH LESS than I expected for them having come so far to provide service. Having problems on the road is stressful enough, not knowing who to call, and having several other businesses say they were not interested in my patronage. Warrenton Tire and Muffler relieved all that stress, with friendly, extremely professional service. I will recommend them to anyone in the area!

My daughter had her car in for tires and the young man working on it let her know the back brakes were paper thin which he thought unusual due to the low mileage on a 2 year old car. She made the appointment and come to find out on a VW you need a special scanner to do the back brakes. They tried for over an hour to remedy this but when they couldn't they didn't even charge for the labor. These are honest and trustworthy folks! Don't let the old school building fool you.
