The repair was quick, effective and was less than $40 which was the most surprising part of the experience when you will just pay anything to be able to get on the road. The staff were funny, helpful and the collection of antique signs around the shop are really cool. They even took the care to road test and re-torque the lug nuts. Who does that nowadays? They even called after the weekend to make sure I was happy with the repair.

We figured out that the AC Compressor seized. I call the shop and told them what happened and they told me they would look at it as soon as we got it there. Upon arrival, they confirmed our prognosis and started looking for a new compressor. We had to get back to the west coast for the next morning. No compressor was available that day. We decided to by pass the compressor. After trying a few belts they figured out that if they moved the idler pulley one of the belts would work. We got on the road and got home on time. He explained in details what he will do and he came to meet me right in my hotel; in less than 30 minutes he showed up (I was really surprised!!!!!!). We went to the parking garage and after assessing the damage he explained step by step again how he will proceed in order to fix the problem. In about an hour later, he had completed the work. Out preparing to cross the border the service due message popped up. Arrived in Canmore Alberta and discovered an Enterprise store there. I pulled in and they had an agreement with OK Tires a local place. I drove it there and they said it would be 2 hours. We took the local shuttle into town and returned by cab as requested before their closing time of 4:30pm. No sign of the car in the lot or on either of their lifts. Went and was informed it was parked up the street make a left and walk down that street until I found it. It was ¾ of a mile away. No sidewalks, no shoulders through a street narrowed by a construction zone. We're 74 & 72 years old and that walk was not on our dance card. In hindsight I was so unexpected of this I walked out without blowing my top and telling to shove their shop UTA!
