I was involved in an accident, I knew I was not at fault. I overheard one of the deputies tell the female officer "JOHNSTON" incharge about what one witness said. They clearly marked the pavement with spay paint and took multiple pictures. But when report was ready the female deputy in charge wrote that because there were no witnesses nor pictures, she cannot determine who was at fault. While she was talking the young driver and his parents who showed up minutes after the accident, she was laughing and talking in friendly manner, but when she came to me she was unfriendly because my name wasn't like "JOHN SMITH" Two weeks after the accident, I called to obtain a copy of the report, and I was told that it was not ready. Yet, I had received a call from the other party's insurance company stating that the VIN NUMBER of my car is not correct on the accident report!!! I decided to to pay a visit to the station. That was another disappointing experience, as the investigator was talking to me with a threatening tone of voice and finally he slammed his hand on the table yelling at me "are you accusing my deputy of lying?", Then I decided to leave since it was pointless. The story of events is some-what large, so I will try to only address the "qualified" facts. Officer Thomas Fuchs attempted to cite my wife with false and non-applicable charges. Knowing the particular law in question exceptionally well (as I dealt with it on a daily basis), I intervened only for officer Fuchs to dig in insisting he was correct. I even insighted the law to him several times to no avail. I was content on protecting my wife from injustice and insisted that officer Fuchs contacted the DA to ensure his actions, as not to make a mistake. He declined to do this as well and continued to argue with me even threatening me to have my CCW revoked. I told him to grow up and get this right. He left without writing the citation, learned I was right, but decided to revoke my license out of retaliation for getting his butt hurt. I was never allowed to argue my case to the sheriff who continuously lied to. I was maliciously and criminally retaliated against, denied due process and defamed and slandered by record. They also lied (SGT. Lopez) telling me he conducted an investigation. It was never done! I know there are good officers in the VCSO, but the top of the pile is a bunch of lying tyrants! read more

I have to say I feel very unsafe in Ventura County due to the Sheriff department enforcement of speed. I know that there are lots of speeders in California, but this is one place that there is only one way to not get a speeding ticket there and that is to stay away from there completely. I would never have a business there, and as a service provider of equipment repair I can say that I will from now on be charging all of my customers accordingly so that I can deal with this problem with a lawyer each time that I am there. Hopefully one of the officers does not kill me outright just for writing this. I can say truthfully that even going 5 to 10 MPH under the posted limit is not guarantee that you will not get a ticket for speeding in this county. As this is what happened to me Thursday night. I was going from servicing a machine to keep a business in operation in Santa Paula to work at another company Friday morning in Los Angeles. With experiences such as this I feel safer with NO police and have to personally deal with the drunks and so forth, as I can more easily avoid being killed by drunks on the road than a police officers that are out to write tickets to everyone on the road. read more

I never been to Ventura County until I met my girlfriend from Camarrillo in college in LA. Now that she moved back home I visit her like once a month or so. In a 1 year period I've been pulled over 3 times (VPD, CHP, & VSD) and ticketed for the most ridiculous things such as holding a cell phone or blowing a stop sign (I didn't) or driving the speed of traffic. I wonder how they manage to pull me over more than once for phony offenses. Yeah you bet a white department pulling over colored people for simply existing. This reminds me of when I was a kid and my father and I were pulled out of our work van at gunpoint because they were searching for Mexicans in a white van..... btw I was 11 years old. I will agree to charges when I did something wrong but when I am consistently arrested on claims that aren't even true that is where I draw the line. The racist bigot cops of Ventura County need to be fired and jailed for this behavior. They should change their motto to its a little outdaded "To protect and serve and racially profile, fine and arrest colored people." Get this. I have been homeless in Camarillo since September 22. Another false restraining order filed by James Keelan. In fact the one I was served with was a no contact order. I was arrested twice and put in jail. Guess what my charges are? Child Abandonment. How can I abandon my children and be forced out of my home at the same time? Tonight I called and asked where I could park my car to sleep in it and have access to a bathroom. They didn't offer me shelter, they just informed me that Camarillo has a no camping ordinance. Two days ago I contacted Officer Dryer, he's in charge of helping the homeless residents, he still hasn't gotten back to me. HI,My car was broken into. FYI. See Below: A Cam PD came by and took fingerprints on our request. The PD didnt offer. Ok question Why dont U (The Cam PD) tell the victim to cover the inside  or exterior of their car when U fingerprint it? WE my young son and I sat in the front office no one around when we had a issue of a violent neighbor and wanted to file a police report. No one came out it took over an hour or so.
