"Camarões" means shrimps in Portuguese, and not surprisingly, they do shrimp--and only shrimp, but they do it well. They prepare shrimp in so many ways, it's difficult to choose, but what we ate, both were excellent. Honestly, it seems like the main courses could serve two people. There are actually 2 Camarões Restaurants, and they're both fairly close. In my opinion, the décor in Camarões Potiguar (at R. Pedro Fonseca) is prettier. The service is very good and they also have a very nice wine list at reasonable prices. The portions are very generous. The desserts, thankfully, aren't made of shrimp, and if you still have room after your meal, you really must have one. They have quite a decent wine list at reasonable prices too. read more

Camarões is a MUST stop while in Natal. The dishes are a bit pricey, but both the food and the service are outstanding. There are multiple locations of camarões throughout the city. This is the oldest/original location and in my opinion the one with the best food (fairly similar menu in the other locations). The newer locations tend to have larger and nicer dinning.
