We came back here for lunch and they didn't disappoint! If I lived in this city, I'd be eating here every week. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful--the service is always excellent--the food is always delicious--and the portions are incredibly generous! "Camaroes" means "shrimps" in Portuguese and this restaurant does shrimp better than just about anywhere I've eaten. As foreigners in for the cup, we got a recommendation for this restaurant from one of our friends from Brazil. We were not let down. The juices were excellent. The caipirinhas were smooth and citrus-y. We were blown away by the two shrimp dishes we ordered: a cashew encrusted shrimp dish with rice anda surprising passion fruit aioli sauce. Our traveling buddies ordered an amazing creamy shrimp risotto dish. Both would be at the top of Bubba's list of he ever came to this restaurant. The service was also top notch. Our server was very kind to us, even though we did not speak the language very well. He seemed to enjoy trading phrases with us too! We got all of our meals quickly and they were masters of serving with a large fork and spoon. We would definitely come back here if we were ever in Natal again. read more

My wife and I always come here when we're in Natal - it's the best! It's a mixed crowd - business people, fashionistas, and beach-going tourists from Brazil and international. Regardless - it's classy! Great service and great atmosphere! It's easy to get to and there's a huge parking lot across the street. Pastels are a great - cheese or shrimp! The salads are for sharing and full of all kinds of goodness! We love the shrimp dishes but the fish has never disappointed either. All dishes are to share - come hungry and eat family style. We knew of this chain and decided to check it out at the Midway Mall. Not sure this is the proper address but stay with me here. Check this place out! The restaurant was pretty empty so we sat right down. Mr and Mrs Corey had been here when the line was out the door, so we were happy about that. We had the shrimp bruschetta and some kind of cheesy shrimp bowl that were both spectacular. The bruschetta had a nice sauce and just the right amount of garlic. Whatever was in the cheese shrimp, something like empty ads was just a delight. For a main course we split the shrimp risotto which came family style and was huge. It was more than enough for us. The service was excellent and the ambiance was simple but pleasant. The bill with tip came to R$150 or about $40. Bahaha what a deal. And a wonderful mall to walk the calories right off! read more
