    I have lived here at Camden Flatirons for 2 years now and just renewed my lease for another year. It's a little pricier than other complexes in the area, but I still love it here. Parking never seems to be an issue as it is at other places that I've heard about in the area (like Harvest Station down the road that doesn't allow any guests after 6pm due to their postage stamp sized parking lot), the dog park here is large with a washing station, the grounds are well maintained, the exercise room and clubhouse are nice, the maintenance staff is very friendly and responsive, and I'm within a 10-minute walking distance of several huge beautiful parks where I can play ball my dog (East Park, Central Park, and West Park). Plus, I have an awesome view of the mountains from my apartment! (yes, I know that not everyone here has that)... A few things do tend to break around here on a regular basis, such as the elevators, the front access gate, and the Jacuzzi, but residents do get regular updates on the status of their repairs. The management does seem to try to get these issues resolved as quickly as possible. Compared to other places that I've lived, Camden Flatirons is still pretty top-notch.

I would give this place zero stars if I could and I hope this review helps any future residents more aware of how they treat their residents and the property. In 12 years of renting at different apartments, this is by far the worst complex I have ever lived in. At first I wasnt going to write anything when I left because this will be such a long review but if you're moving here, you need to read this because if I can save anyone else from living here then ive done my part. Starting with the move in May 2022, there is a 30 day guarantee that if you are unsatisfied you can break your lease with no penalties. I emailed the manager at the time twice and called the office to leave a message because we had already been experiencing issues and never received a response. At the time we had just moved states, spent all our money moving, and did not have a lot of money left over to do it again so we decided to screw it and we stayed since we were not getting a response and we couldn't afford to move anyways. From move in we experienced maintenance and property issues and they continued until the time of move out. From the get go of us moving in, the gates did not work, the firepit did not work, the pool and hot tub were out of commission and there was dog waste everywhere. After almost two years of living there, none of these items have been fixed. The pool and hot tub are working intermittently but we would constantly get emails about them needing to fix the hot tub again. It was raining a majority of summer 2023 so the pool wasn't used often anyways but if residents wanted to use it, it was a hit or miss on if they would be working. The hot tub I was never even able to use once. It worked for a short time period but more often than not it would be barricaded with caution tape and unavailable for use. We moved up in May and being from Texas where we were used to major heat, we did not turn the AC on until it started to get into the 90s during that summer. The AC did not work from the start and was out for 2 whole months before it was finally fixed. We were dealing with 100 degree days and had 3 animals in the house so it was miserable those two months. I was submitting maintenance tickets weekly and when I spoke with the office they were closing them out because they were under the impression the unit was fixed. We constantly had to keep the windows open and they did not even give us a temporary AC until the last week before it was fixed. The maintenance manager at the time (who was let go shortly after) told us that management did not want to pay an actual HVAC company to come service our unit and that is what was taking so long. After 8 weeks they finally hired PEAK to come out and I believe they had to replace the entire unit. Then later in the year when it started to get cold, we tried using our heater and the heater wasnt working correctly either. Even though we had it on AUTO the heater would not turn off when it recognized the set temperature and would run constantly. This also took about 4 weeks to get fixed. We did have COVID for a short time during the outage so part of that time frame was us not allowing maintenance to come by until we recovered. However, we were not sick the entire month and 4 weeks is still entirely too long to come and fix the heater. In November 2023, my sister's water pressure declined in her shower and we noticed some mold forming in the master bathroom. Maintenance came out and fixed the head in her bathroom but did not do anything about the mold we have reported. In December, we noticed our water was not getting very hot and would not last long. Then our water started to produce black specs from all the faucets in the unit but only when running the hot water and there was still mold forming in the tub. I submitted an additional ticket for the mold and water heater and when maintenance came out the first time all they did was adjust the water heater temperature up which made it scalding hot to the point I had to keep the faucets on cold so I would not get burned. This was the second time they had been called for the mold issue and did not do anything about it then either. And I will say now that I am out of the unit, I am no longer coughing, sneezing, or congested the way I had been and I believe I was getting sick from the mold they continuously ignored. Finally after speaking with the new property manager Patrick, him and the maintenance manager Val came to my unit to see what was wrong. This was only after I sent a long email to the office with my 60 day notice because they wanted a reason for our move out. Once I showed Val and Patrick the black specs spewing from the faucet, even Patrick said "wow this is much worse than i had expected". This is the first apartment building I moved into where there isn't a traditional office open during the week that you can walk into to meet the building managers. You have to drive to the cornerstone office location to pick up the keys which wasn't clearly communicated to me when I arrived at the apartment complex hoping to pick up my keys when my lease started. Luckily though the move in process was smooth and I didn't need to contact the office to use a dolly or anything, though that would have been helpful. Since I moved in I received 2 large packages that I could not carry up to my apartment without a dolly or assistance. I called the office number and connected with Doug, who promptly got back to me and said he was on the way to the building see if there was a dolly I could use. Next thing I know he was at my door and had brought the package up himself! He is super friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to help me with my packages. The gym has all the necessities and feels clean. The building feels safe and the butterfly entry option is super convenient when ordering takeout/delivery. Overall a great move in experience and apartment complex.

Karen, Kacie and Chris are all amazing, wonderful people who are kind-hearted and willing to go the extra mile for you. My boyfriend and I lived under their property management for about 3 years, first at Kimberly Court for a year and then at Flatiron View for nearly 2 years. We loved both apartments, but we especially took a liking to our apartment at Flatiron View. It is extremely well maintained, and the maintenance staff are top notch. They go above and beyond. Anytime we had an issue, they would arrive within minutes of us calling in to the office. They are just so nice and so friendly, and they really know their stuff. They always got everything we needed fixed done right. They even unclogged our bathtub drain one time even though that wasn't the reason we had called them! Our appliances were all up to date.... Really I can't speak highly enough of Flatiron View. I have absolutely zero complaints, and 500% praise. Please rent from them, you won't regret it!

    Neighbors are mostly trashy without respect for the rules or the people around them. Many of which…read moresmoke indoors and out (cigarettes and other), park in unauthorized areas for long periods of time, blast loud music late at night, and other similar problems. The EV chargers are a total joke and might as well be non-existent. They are usually ICE'd by inconsiderate neighbors who leave their combustion cars parked there for days and days. Only 1 of 3 advertised chargers work, and it only pulls 5 kW (might as well be a level 1 outlet). The last remaining charger won't last long considering the state these residents leave it in (inability to wrap the chord up or even keep the charger handle off the ground). The parking in general is an absolute free for all. People park along the curb, in handicapped spots, in covered park that isn't assigned to them... it is the wild west. Management couldn't care less, none of these illegally parked cars or motorcycles are ever towed. The AC units are all mounted to the roof. These apartments are extremely loud with AC noise and traffic from Uptown Ave and HWY 36. The walls and floor rattle and vibrate from the ACs/heaters. Do not rent here. It is incredibly overpriced and non-enjoyable. Management will not respond to any problems you may have and you will be ignored.
