The day we couldn't get into The Brodie apartments because of the eviction here! We all had to be evacuated!

Again-The Brodie still disappoints. Construction ongoing for six months now with no use of the pool, the hot tub, or the grills!! the photos are of what used to be a hot tub area( WHO IS JENNIFER??). They raised my rent ($150) & my parking cost (to $100) even though they have almost 40 units that are sitting empty right now!! My apt. is listed currently April 2024, for $200 less than I pay for it, but they want me to renew my lease with an increase? There are SO many other choices- this is not the place to be!! do your market research you can find a better place for a better cost-never heard of a Jennifer here -so I don't know why that is the person responding---I think it's an AI robot!!

As noted in someone's recent review --it is true & evident that Andrew & his office staff are efficient, display effective organizational skills to meet the many residents' needs & wants, as well as promote consistently keeping the complex grounds & pool area clean & attractive. Snow & ice removal is a top priority. Clearing snow & ice melt put out readily, The mountain views are vast and apartments are laid out well regarding square footage per unit. Management does a good job keeping residents notified of upcoming events per email messages. This attention to communication helps make The Brodie community feel connected. Job well done!

My housemate and I moved here back at the end of February and have had nothing but positive experiences living here at the Brodie. :-) the ambiance is peacefully beautiful, located in between Big Dry Creek and the breathtaking Rocky Mountains- not too far from restaurants and shopping malls near Northglenn, Brookfield and Westminster. Our association does a beautiful job of keeping the grass and plants happy and healthy. The ladies I usually chat with in the leasing office (Tasia and Adriana) are chipper, cheerful and genuinely so helpful. They really went out of their way to make sure my move from California to The Brodie in Colorado was as smooth as possible, especially considering we did all of our communication about the unit via text and phone calls as I was not in Colorado to do a physical tour. They often set up food trucks and other yummy surprises to hang out in our parking lot for a convenient dinner option for you to take home. The pool and community club house is absolutely gorgeous, the neighborhood is very dog friendly with its many walking paths and little trash cans for doggy bags. The service the Brodie provides is efficient and effective, each time I've needed a simple service at my unit the employees are diligent, helpful and respectful. Never hear my neighbors, walls are thick and soundproof for the most part. If I had one gripe about the neighborhood, it'd be that I wish more of my neighbors were open to saying hello now and then... some seem to be a little stuck up in their own ways, or maybe to busy to say hello back to me (lol), but that also may be due to people being courteous of COVID restrictions. That's just a few building residents, otherwise my next door neighbor is seriously lovely. Besides all that, I've never been so happy in an apartment and my housemate and I have never been so in love with our beautiful 2 bedroom unit facing the mountains. Unreal sunsets and sunrises, we plan on staying here a while. :-)

Smells of the hallway. Trash chute is in building, right next to residents and elevators.

********AVOID THIS PROPERTY*********…read more I was initially considering moving into this complex, even offered two months free, but ultimately chose not to sign the lease and that decision was the right one. The property already looks worn down despite being less than a year old, and after reading countless negative reviews about shady fees, poor communication, and unprofessional staff, I pulled out. Now they're trying to charge me $271 simply for "holding" an apartment for five days even though I never signed a lease or took possession. This is the exact kind of deceptive, predatory practice other tenants have warned about. Management is extremely hard to reach, dismissive, and clearly more focused on squeezing money out of people than actually providing a decent living experience. The fact that I turned down two months free rent should speak volumes. No one should have to deal with this level of dishonesty and disorganization before even moving in. I highly recommend looking elsewhere especially with reading all the horrible reviews from the current tenants that live on property.

You can tell when the island isn't level with the floor on all sides and by the way the molding at the baseboards is not worth the money you will shell out to live here. The staff at the front office and maintenance are always very kind and requests get handled at an urgent pace but this building has safety hazards hence the low rating. There have been false fire alarms multiple times a week, and on many occasions multiple times a day. One instance there was one at 6 a.m then again at 8 a.m. the SAME morning. This is extremely unsafe because 1. Multiple times it is turned off before the fire department gets here. 2. Not everyone evacuates after the mass amounts of false alarms. And 3rd for the animals and children that live in this building you are creating unnecessary stress that affects their health and behavior. Amazing location, nice staff, decent amenities (although they opened after it was already too cold to use anything short of the hot tub) but structurally unsafe especially for the amount of money paid to live here.

For example 30 dollars is added to rent for a community fee for them to hire people to clean, in these pictures people leave their dog poop everywhere and it's so embarrassing when guest come over and they smell strong urine and smell and see dog poop all over the community. You pay 25 dollars for valet trash pick up and most of the time they skip the building or leave peoples trash in the hallways. Elevators are either getting maintenance on and if they are working they are disgusting, snot, hand prints and dog urine most of the time. Hallways never get cleaned just gets sprayed with cleaning spray to mask the smell and a lot of urine stains. Robert Sheppard "Bobby" works with the leasing team very very inappropriate and unprofessional with my girlfriend on the phone blocked her number from the Camden phone list. He has laughed at my girlfriend over the phone and hung up on her. We also had been sexually harassed by a man at the dog park and Camden did absolutely nothing about the situation just had a meeting with us telling us we shouldn't have defended ourselves basically. The appliances inside our okay. The vanity in the bathroom was super chipped, the floors were scratched up, the kitchen counters were super cracked, and the garbage disposal smelled like fish. That's when we moved in. This was just our experience everyone's experience is different. If you do decide to live here just think real hard before moving in. Lots of money and when you move in they will be asking for more money. Looking forward into moving to an apartment that's 1640 in a very nice community with the same luxury appliances with a better apartment team. Do better Camden.

A mud swallow nest built directly over a fire sprinkler head creates a critical safety emergency by rendering a life-saving fire suppression system inoperable. However, how you proceed depends entirely on whether the nest is active or inactive: [1, 2] 1. If the Nest is Inactive (Empty) If the nest is still under construction and does not yet contain eggs or chicks, or if the birds have already fledged and left, it can be removed immediately. [3, 4] The Rule: The Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA) protects the birds, their eggs, and their young, but it does not protect an empty mud structure. [3, 5] Action: Building management or maintenance can knock the nest down immediately. Because swallows are highly persistent and will try to rebuild in the exact same spot within hours, management should immediately install bird deterrents (like netting or specialized slick barriers) around the sprinkler head. [6, 7] 2. If the Nest is Active (Contains Eggs or Chicks) If there are live eggs or nestlings inside, it is a federal violation to simply knock it down. However, because a blocked fire sprinkler compromises the safety of the entire apartment building, this qualifies as a severe human safety hazard. [2, 3, 8] The Rule: You cannot use "self-help" to remove an active nest. Instead, the apartment building's management or ownership must immediately contact the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) or their state wildlife agency to request an emergency Special Purpose Depredation Permit. [3, 4, 9] The Action: USFWS heavily prioritizes public safety emergencies. Once the permit is fast-tracked, management will typically be authorized to have a licensed professional wildlife relocation service or a permitted migratory bird rehabilitator humanely remove and relocate the active nest and its nestlings. [1, 3, 5, 10] A Note on Responsibility If you are a tenant in the building, do not attempt to remove or alter the nest yourself. [1] Liability: Interfacing with fire safety equipment or federally protected wildlife carries severe civil and legal liabilities. The Correct Step: Take a photo of the blocked sprinkler head and submit an emergency maintenance request to your property management immediately. Cite that it is a code-violating fire hazard and that they need to coordinate with wildlife authorities for an emergency removal. If management refuses to act, contact your local Fire Marshal, who has the legal authority to force the landlord to clear the fire hazard properly. [1, 8, 10] Are you a tenant trying to get management to take action, or are you on the property management team looking for the right compliance steps? I can: Provide a templated emergency email text you can send to management right now. Direct management to the specific USFWS regional permit application office for Colorado. ******This addresses an issue directly related to contact with office management****
