This is the cutest coffee shop! I loved the vibes and there's plenty of space for seating, whether by yourself or with a crowd. They have local flowers that you can purchase via Venmo and hand-made mugs and other cool things. Our airbnb gave us a gift card to this place, which sent us on our way and I'm so glad they introduced us to Camden's. The coffee was delicious, with wonderful seasonal options. The white mocha was to die for! Best white mocha I've had. The mountain mocha was delicious too, but didn't compare to the white. read more

This is such a fantastic coffee shop in Mars Hill. It is very spacious and the decor is hip with a cozy library atmosphere. The staff is friendly and made us great coffee. Quick trip early in the morning. Visiting Mars Hill, staying on a farm, son wanted a muffin. We walked in, two of us, on the way to the playground down the street at 7am. No sleep. Grumpy night. The service changed all that. Between the smile and the warm acceptance of an over tired dad on vacation and an Autistic boy who only wanted a muffin, we were able to restart our day. They made him a "cold" chocolate. And me a huge huge huge espresso. The barista played checkers with him. It was quiet there. She gave me 10 minutes of "alone" time. When he spilled his water and I jumped up to clean it...she pushed me down, she took care of it. A rough night became an awesome morning. Visited family in Mars Hills, and tried Camden's Coffee House. Entering the coffee house one is met with a rustic, vintage type of ambiance. A chalkboard menu with a variety of coffee options, tea options, healthy versions of smoothie drinks and the option to 'create your own with added protein's: with alternative protein otpions; locally sourced baked goods, coffee beans and tons of art, books and a large area to relax and enjoy company or to simply take a break and sit alone. The barista's were helpful, friendly and inviting to look around, ask questions and encouraging their clientele to return. The house did have live music on selected evenings, took part in the local First Friday's on Main Street, yet I was not in the area to attend. There is plenty of table top areas to bring work, use a computer and relax during the activity of work. I enjoyed the visit, and would recommend you to try it out. Awesome coffee shop. We visited after being at Wolf Ridge- short drive from there and easy to find. The space is beautifully laid out- open, clean with seating for lounging and studying/eating etc. Service was fast, professional and the coffee was great. We are here at least once a week. Not only do I love this coffee house, my kids ask to go all the time (5 and 14). My sons love the smoothies and I switch back in forth between Cubans and the Honeynut. The atmosphere/vibes of this coffee house is truly unmatched by any coffee house I've ever visited. So fortunate to be right down the road! We do curbside on days when the littles aren't feeling well and want a mango peach smoothie pick me up, and other days I (or we!) stop in for extended periods of time and get some work done on my laptop. The chocolate croissants are overcooked and tough and I just got the egg and cheese biscuit: the picture looked great.. the biscuit is flat and doughy and very small for $6! :-( Haven't tried a muffin yet; they look good. This is a great place to study or just hang out with friends. I don't live in the area, but anytime I need a good coffee and place to study, I know this is the best spot. The staff is nice, it's obvious they care about customers by the way they take orders and ensure you like your drink. There are many seats open usually, and a lot of spots with outlets! This time, I tried a mocha latte and in my opinion it basically tasted like chocolate milk with a bit of a coffee taste (not a bad thing).
