I used to come here on the regular and I absolutely LOVED IT. Unfortunately, I had to stop coming because of my work schedule not fitting in with their classes :( All you really need to know is that it's a great cardio workout, and Artur treats you like family. One time, we all went out to eat after a workout and when I went to leave, I had a flat tire. Artur stayed with me until I got a tow truck on it's way to change my tire! That's how you know how great he treats everyone. If I could go back to this gym, I would in a heartbeat. read more

Anyone can and should try Camelback Boxing Gym! I've always worked out (sometimes begrudgingly), but this is the most addicted to exercise I have ever been. I miss it when I can't go! I went to my first class on a whim, so definitely no experience necessary! The trainers are great. They'll help you push yourself but take people's differing levels of fitness into account. The gym is nice, and the people that work out there are awesome too. It's really a place where everyone is welcome regardless of fitness level. I have been a client of Artur Petrosyan for 3 years. It has been the best decision I have made for my physical conditioning in years. Let me begin by saying I am a 70 year old retired Phoenix Police Detective with over 50 years of good physical fitness and conditioning habits to my credit. That said, over the past 10 years I have begun to experience the disabilities of age. Starting with rheumatoid arthritis in most of my joints, especially in my knees and hands. After many years of a physical fitness routine that included distance running and mountain biking, I began to experience the severe pain that comes with arthritis. At that point, I started a new, but less aggressive fitness regimine. I began daily walks that would range anywhere from 5-8 miles. After several years of pacing myself as a walker on a daily basis, I began to experience extreme knee pain. That all but ended my fitness routine. A trip to the orthopedic surgeons office revealed severe knee degeneration in both knees! That left me with very few options. I began to feel rather hopeless at that point. Then, I was fortunate to be driving by Camelback Boxing Gym one morning in 2015 and my life was changed for ever!!! My first meeting resulted in my realization that I might have found the option that I needed in order to continue my physical routine on a regular basis, and learning something new at the same time. It is now three years later and I can't say enough about Artur's skill, knowledge, professionalism and above all patience. His positive outlook, extreme knowledge and upbeat positive approach to teaching the art of boxing is contagious! I train with Artur at least 3 days a week and am proud to say I am his oldest client! Artur brings out the best in his client's, creates an atmosphere of openness and always is positive and encouraging. He loves to say he is "going to torture you", but in the end, the process is worth the effort, FOR SURE. I have been working with the head coach Artur, for 4 months now, when I started I was 200 lbs and 22% body fat, now I am 168lbs and 15% body fat. He inspires me to be the best me that I can be. Yes he is a boxing coach but more so he is a life coach; training with him keeps me in shape, and out of trouble, I can not thank and recommend this place enough. But know this: his, is a serious business, so if you're not ready to give it your all, don't sign up. Excellent workout! I've exercised for years (gym, yoga, spin) but definitely saw a difference after joining Camelback Boxing. It has a family feel. Frank and Arthur are great! recently joined Camelback Boxing Gym to get back into shape again. Let me tell you, it is one hell of a workout (and I emphasize HELL, because it feels like torture while you're doing it, but you feel amazing after every single session. It's impossible not to get addicted to the program at Camel back boxing. The owner and trainer is Arthur (former pro boxer), and he has to be one of the most friendly and positive people you will meet. He is just a good, genuine guy practically living at that gym making a living for himself. He usually has his wife and son with him at the gym helping him out with paperwork and hanging out, it's just so nice to see a hard working family man doing what he loves and inspiring people from all walks of life.
