The facility is very beautiful and well decorated..The CNAs are all friendly and housekeeping does a good job in my family members room... However , the food is very minimal and cold most days ..Cold toast with no butter , oatmeal , grits, and a tiny portion of scrambled eggs was a recent breakfast . Very small portions ..sometimes a resident will ask for seconds and told there is no more . We have spoken to the administration about this , but no changes have been made ...Another problem , no one supervises the residents sitting outside .. One lady was riding her handicap scooter in the front parking lot . She could have gotten hit by a car .. read more

Each neighborhood consists of approximately 35 large, private bedrooms and exquisitely tiled private bathrooms plus private dining areas. The rest of the staff was snarky. Impatient, lazy and downright rude. My brother had no use of his arms and they'd just leave his meal trays for him to feed himself. HOW? He's deaf and, although we posted signs all over his room to that effect, in the WEEKS he there, they never seemed to figure it out. My sisters and I finally had to take off work and schedule his days so one of us was always there to feed and care for him. When we fed him, he'd clean his plate. When one of us couldn't be there, he'd just say he wasn't hungry. Now I ask you, what were they doing/not doing that the man would rather go hungry than have them feed him? He developed an eye infection and we had to beg for his prescribed eye drops which they never could seem to find. We'd show up and his eye would be running to the point of dripping off his chin (Again, he couldn't use his arms to wipe it.) or crusted shut and they were oblivious. The other residents were so sweet, but the staff were obviously made up of people who couldn't find employment elsewhere and cared nothing for the people they were there to care for. Very sad!

They did NOT send her home with her correct meds. After numerous phone calls to get help finally they sent in her scripts only to be the WRONG ones. They did NOT set her up for success leaving the facility. She is going to meetings but we have not gotten meds straight. All we need is for here to have what she needed to succeed. On a side note I did have to call her councelor about another issue and she came througth for that. I would love to recommend them whole heartedly but they need help in the back end of recovery.

I have used Directlabs…read morefor blood tests (cholesterol, glucose, etc.), as well as other lab tests for about 5 years now. Your tests are always at the directlabs.com portal, whether you change medical insurances, have no medical insurance for a period of time, or any other reason. Too many times, your work changes medical insurance carriers, or you yourself change medical insurance carriers, and all of your online lab tests from the past are no longer available. Too many times, a doctor has you come in just to write test orders, then reschedules you for another visit just to "read" your results, what a joke! There's nothing to understanding test results, there are high and low ranges with each result, and you can get further information on the internet, like webmd.com Directlabs currently uses Quest Diagnostics, a major lab testing facility, just like anyone else. They have a staff doctor which reviews results, and if necessary, will attach a warning-type message to your portal. I would rather pay out of pocket online for routine lab tests, and send the results to my doctor, me being in control of the tests ordered, as well as the results. If my doctor loses the results, I can go to the directlabs portal, print another one, and resend it. Directlabs unlocks the black box of lab testing, and removes the veil of mystery that some doctors wrap lab tests in to the patient. A+++ Directlabs
