The rest of the staff was snarky. Impatient, lazy and downright rude. My brother had no use of his arms and they'd just leave his meal trays for him to feed himself. HOW? He's deaf and, although we posted signs all over his room to that effect, in the WEEKS he there, they never seemed to figure it out. My sisters and I finally had to take off work and schedule his days so one of us was always there to feed and care for him. When we fed him, he'd clean his plate. When one of us couldn't be there, he'd just say he wasn't hungry. Now I ask you, what were they doing/not doing that the man would rather go hungry than have them feed him? He developed an eye infection and we had to beg for his prescribed eye drops which they never could seem to find. We'd show up and his eye would be running to the point of dripping off his chin (Again, he couldn't use his arms to wipe it.) or crusted shut and they were oblivious. The other residents were so sweet, but the staff were obviously made up of people who couldn't find employment elsewhere and cared nothing for the people they were there to care for. Very sad!

However , the food is very minimal and cold most days ..Cold toast with no butter , oatmeal , grits, and a tiny portion of scrambled eggs was a recent breakfast . Very small portions ..sometimes a resident will ask for seconds and told there is no more . We have spoken to the administration about this , but no changes have been made ...Another problem , no one supervises the residents sitting outside .. One lady was riding her handicap scooter in the front parking lot . She could have gotten hit by a car ..
