The owners are charging $3500 with nothing included. We found out we weren't being provided security, weren't allowed to use the kitchen (not even to rinse a cup out), not allowed to stay pass 11 pm, not allowing us to decorate the way we'd like (even after confirming with the owners) UNTIL the day of the event. The lack of respect we endured. She decided to be rude and belittling during the party! The next day cops had to be called for us to even get our belongings that she held hostage. Please, please, please do me a favor and stay far away from these people and their business!

He was very communicative--even with the 13 hour time difference, I was able to coordinate with him easily. I had my husband be taken out of the house three hours before the party to set up... the balloon arch was delivered right on time. The photographer showed up half an hour earlier than the party. The magician I wanted to hire was booked somewhere else and I only found out a few days before, but the balloon sculpture artist Mark recommended instead was an absolute hit with the kids as well as the adults, which was a pleasant surprise. He made my husband the most outrageous birthday hat. Right when he was supposed to be done, one of the kids tripped and popped his balloons and got upset, and he stayed longer to make him (and a few other stragglers) more balloons. Truly kind. The photographer David was also really so helpful, friendly, and on it! He came early and helped with some of the set up... he was attentive and also very nice to talk to. Very natural (sometimes it's awkward when a photographer's in your face taking pictures but it wasn't awkward at all). We got a USB full of pictures right after the party! I am pretty upset that even with Covid canceling my wedding that the owner of MIA Party Creations…read moredidn't have a heart to give back my $500 deposit. I came to her in September 2019, my wedding was suppose to be June 28th 2020. The INVOICE says non refundable. But due to Covid 19 which was out of my hands and out of hers - she didn't have a heart to give back my deposit. Every other vendor gave back all deposits without even a blink of an eye because Covid was effecting everyone. Covid was an "act of god". When I had a conversation with the owner I was called "hunny" and was belittled and felt she was being condescending. She continued to make remarks such as "time is money sweetie" "let's not get it twisted I'm done here" and states the following: "ok np as ypi said you will not neededing about services by your choice not ours so ypu officially have canceled our non- refundable contract" Canceling the non refundable contract when I was having a conversation about finances and how I don't have any future events planned. She stated I could use the $500 on a future event, but with the hole Covid has put me in even year later I couldn't even fathom spending money on a party when I loose sleep at night how I am going to put food on the table for my children. I shouldn't have to either loose my $500 OR have to spend more money in the future to use up that $500. Even when I have tried to think of another party to use it up i contacted her about using the $500 she wanted me to pay an additional $300 towards a service because her pricing has went up. I have even helped her with projects and crafts for her events in the past. I considered her a crafty knowledgeable friend. In our conversation via text she even went out of her way to put down the projects I have went out of my way for her in the past: Stating: "The t shirts you made the letters fell apart" "No one really cared for for them" She came to me I went to her vise versa.for ideas and crafts. I feel very upset that she couldn't see Covid as an act of god and she keeps referring to her "invoice" that states no refunds applicable on deposit payment". No one asked for Covid or their dream wedding to be canceled in order to keep loved ones safe. I had to accept that my wedding HAD to cancel. I am IN HOPES that Mia Party Creation can come to an agreement.

The staff was also very attentive and amazing. Only one staff member was not so good. The old blonde woman that was bartending caught an attitude with me and my family member. I went up to order a drink and she made me show her ID which i didn't mind but later on when my boyfriend who has a beard and everything went to go get a drink for me and himself she told him he can't get two drinks and accused us of underage drinking. We're both born in the 90s by the way and showed her our IDs. I ordered a drink and my aunt came up and also ordered a drink and my aunt didn't tip her so she slammed the drink down and yelled next. I found that very rude. I also didn't have any singles i only had a $10 bill so i planned to tip after my second drink but her attitude made me go to the other bartender who was a man with curly hair. He was very nice and gave no issues the entire night. That woman should retire if she is so unhappy with her job.

Cocktail hours (open bar) from 7:30-8:30 pm with raw bar, meat carving stations, pasta, cocktail shrimps and so much food. I was pretty full from the hors d'oeuvres. 8:30-12:30 am was dinner and dancing! Bruschetta and Prosciutto for appetizer and fish or steak for dinner. I'll be honest that I can't remember what it taste like because I was busy at the open bar and the dance floor. I remembered that it was good. Needless to say - I had the most fabulous time.
