I started bringing my dry cleaning and laundry to Cameo when we lived in South Brunswick- we moved to Yardville and I drive the 30 minutes to continue to use them. The customer service is remarkable as is the integrity of the staff that returns valuable items left in pockets. They've never lost or damaged any items and all our clothing is expertly cleaned. This place is the best dry cleaners in the area! They are expensive compared to your 1.99 places but you have to pay for quality work! Any tailoring I need done I make sure I come here because they actually care about their work. I brought in several suits and every time they check if the material is the same because if its not one pants can be longer or shorter. Other places they measure one of the pants seams and call it a day even though the two other pants are made from completely different materials. The only comment i can say about losing things, is that they deal with tens of thousands of customers clothing a day!!! Think about how many times did you almost lose your cell phone or almost lost your wallet? Bottom line... If you want quality work done with people who care... Come here!!! read more

Went there today to get my leather jacket fixed. The zipper itself was broken, and wouldn't close. It was something I needed for motorcycle riding and my mom got it tailored for me back in Pakistan YEARS ago, it just didn't fit me then. I called in and asked if they could help me out with it, and surely, I got a yes. The manager/ owner helped me out on arrival with my noname- Street tailored jacket, and swapped the zipper thingy out. Total was cheap at only $8, id recommend this place. read more

5 stars for the dry cleaning they did for my husband's stained shirts, 1 star for my wedding dress. I brought it in asking if they could preserve it and put it in a box. At first the price was $35, then all of a sudden it was $50 to put the dress in the box? I got the dress back quickly, but it looks awful. I had to take it out and rearrange it myself. And there was a big dent in the side of the gold box, which couldn't have happened on the way home because I live right down the street and the outer box that it all came in was fine, so nothing in the car dinged it up. This dress is special to me and a great memory and I hate seeing it tossed in a box like this. $50 down the drain. read more

I'm getting married soon and was looking for a place to dry clean some clothes as well as do some tailoring work on new suits. So I was looking for a reliable dry cleaner and tailor in the new brunswick/princeton area. I saw this place had good reviews on yelp and decided to try them out. I expressed urgency and they dry cleaned one of my suits overnight for $11.95! While the place charges a bit more than others in the area, I was more concerned about reliability since it is for an important occasion. I also got three pants hemmed for $11/ea. Again, I think other places may charge $9/ea... However, I was very pleased with the service they provided me. I wanted to get major tailoring work done on one suit, so the owner called the tailor to the shop and he came to discuss. After spending 30 minutes, he said he doesn't recommend doing the work. I appreciate this sort of honest feedback. I would rather have a tailor advise me not to get something done, instead of promising the world and ruining the suit. If you are willing to shell out a $ or two extra, I definitely recommend them! read more

i drive the 20 minutes to Cameo. They are very friendly but that's not the main reason I make the trek to them. Some of my clothing is very expensive and I was sick of what some of the cleaners were doing to it. Cameo take care of everything and produce wonderful results. This is by far the worst cleaners I have ever used! EVER! They have lost two pieces of clothing of mine and ruined three shirts - one that had burn spots on it, the other two had melted fabric on the collar. Not only that, but they have routinely placed other peoples clothing in with mine. How can this place that has been in business for 45 years be this disorganized?!?! Moreover, the owner is extremely rude and will argue with you for hours if you have lost anything. He even hung up on me! The place is decent. I did have an issue with some of my clothes. They returned a shirt with holes in it. They did address the issue to my satisfaction. However, after that experience I did decide not to go here again. On a separate note, I think the dry cleaning industry is rampant with small business owners who don't have a clue how to run a business. Hence, the reason so many deliver terrible service. read more

I also know many other people who have been with this company for over 20 years. It seems to me that Alexander has some grievance that he wants to take public instead of dealing with it privately.
