The reviews…read moreseemed decent, so I felt comfortable bringing in three items for dry cleaning, including a $400 coat that needed a small repair. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The seamstress was not there when I dropped of the coat, they said that she will look and see if she can fix it and let me know by phone. I then find out that she "fixed" my coat without consulting me first, claiming the repair was necessary for the dry cleaning process. In doing so, she actually made the tear worse and ended up ruining the coat. When I tried to address the issue with the staff, the situation only got worse. The employees became defensive, rude, and belligerent. The interaction escalated to the point where I felt uncomfortable and unsafe in the store, as two male associates were behaving aggressively. I haven't even evaluated the quality of the dry cleaning yet, but at this point it's hard to say the service was worth the cost of a ruined $400 coat and the unpleasant treatment I received. It's especially disappointing because I had hoped I'd found a reliable dry cleaning and tailoring service close to home.

She saw me first thing that next morning, and had it done 2 days before the date she told me!! And it fit perfectly. She let out the sides and took 3.5 inches of the bottom. She then proceeded to fix another dress for me so I could wear that to the morning portion of the event! I would definitely recommend her. She listened to my concerns, did exactly what was needed, and her work is amazing. Not only that, her prices were very reasonable. I've already told my friends where to find her. Nadia ruined my custom dress and has refused to refund my money, even after I waited over 3 months. She never provided me with progress pictures despite multiple requests, and I had to repeatedly chase her just to get updates. When I finally received the dress, it was nothing like what I had ordered -- the materials had stains, the design instructions were completely ignored, and the outfit was completely unusable. When I asked for my money back, she refused. Despite owning two stores, she claimed she didn't have a penny in her account to refund me. After she ignored my texts, I was forced to visit her store in person since my sister's Nikka (wedding) was only 10 days away. At that time, she promised to return my money. However, after waiting several more days, I had to call her again -- only to be told that she "couldn't afford" to refund my deposit, even though my dress was not made to the pdf of details. The color is not what we agreed upon in person or in the document of specifications I had sent. The tailoring ignored the requested neckline with picture examples given. The style itself is of a completely different design than the examples shown in store, despite being given sample pictures as well in the garment details pdf. This has been an extremely stressful and disappointing experience. I would strongly caution anyone from trusting this business with such important orders.

I ended up having to come back the next day to solve the issue but they were very diligent and trying to correct everything that went wrong or were very apologetic. She was very detail oriented in identifying the alterations that needed to be made and gave me the price ($80 to take in the waist of two skirts and alter the two blouses) that evening. A gentleman, whom I refer to as the store manager, translated my requests to the seamstress downstairs. I then returned to the main showroom, and the owner quoted me a price. I picked up the items without the chance to try them on due to scheduling constraints, and later that day, I found the alterations to be unprofessional and not in line with the price I was charged. I was leaving for vacation and could not address it immediately. Upon my return, I showed the store manager my concerns and asked how we could rectify the situation. He advised me to speak with the owner, who was unavailable, and to come back in a week. A week later the owner still wasn't there. The store manager suggested I call the owner, and I asked if he could call him while I was there. He mentioned he doesn't always answer his calls. I said, so why would he answer a call from a number he's not familiar with? In the meantime, I took the two pieces to another tailor to see what could be done to make them wearable. After months of many visits, I reiterated that the work done did not reflect what I paid for and requested a refund. The store manager asked to see the pieces again, I explained that what was done could have been done by me, and he responded, "so why didn't you do it yourself?" I then stated I wanted a refund so I could take them to a proper tailor. He called the seamstress, and they spoke in Spanish about possible fixes. He explained she could complete the additional alterations, and I could pick them up on Thursday, with later delays pushing pickup to Saturday. After four months, the garments are finally wearable.
