Billing practices are shady at best. Got almost a year of treatment leading up to Invisaligners. My insurance gives me a 25% discount. I asked about it and was brushed off. the whole reason I went there in the first place was because they accepted my insuranc. Payed 1250$ more than I should have. Then did not get treatment in any kind of a timely manner. Then Linda starting overcharging me for cleanings and no one let me have my two free yearly cleanings. My cleaning should have been 62$, first they tried charging me 137, then 84, then 75. It makes question everything about them. I asked for clarification, I presented their email to my insurance and they said Stonehaven could not have been more wrong. I would not recommend. They fail to call you back on important issues or not in a timely manner. Stay away. I have all information timelines and all emails and texts. This isn't just being upset, I'm not mad. Just want to inform folks so they can make an informed decision. Good luck with providers out there like these. Sorry, not sorry!

Each of the four people I spoke to confirmed that this was possible and put it in their notes each time. When I finished my surgery, they couldn't find them and then said they ended up in the trash. Once my 40's slammed me in the face, I had to begin having the real problem teeth removed and replaced. They've been molars thus far, which most dentists no longer deal with for removal. Dr. Crawford has been a fantastic referral from my trusted endodontist. He has removed two molars, a couple of years apart, and performed the surgery follow up care for my eventual implant replacements completed by my dentist. A molar removal is very invasive and complicated, with a decent amount of healing time necessary. Dr. Crawford is careful and thoughtful about his work, making sure any bone grafts and other processes are healed properly before taking next steps. (I know people who've been rushed through this process by their oral surgeons, and have lost implants because of it.) I've been extremely appreciative of his cautious care as it has certainly assisted me in making sure the implants stay where they're implanted and that the surrounding areas remain healthy. The surgeries I've been through with Dr. Crawford have been flawless. It's clear that everyone in his office, from the receptionists to the surgical assistants to Dr. Crawford himself, are there to help you. They're very communicative and respectful. Dr. Crawford has a very pleasant bedside manner, and does quality work. I also feel that his costs are in line with other oral surgeons, and he doesn't charge you for the small extra things that some offices wouldn't hesitate to add to your bill. I know I have more dental issues ahead of me, and although I'm very much not looking forward to any of them, I know Dr. Crawford and his team will take good care of me.

The surgery normally takes about 30 minutes but Dr. Burton, being efficient as he is, only took 20 minutes! Before the procedure, I…read moreclearly informed Dr. Jenkins and his assistant that I wanted to be brought back into the room before my son woke up from sedation. I explained that I had heard patients often say funny or disoriented things during emergence from anesthesia and wanted to be present for that personal moment as his parent. They agreed to notify me. However, when staff finally came to get me, my son was already fully awake and had been moved to another room. The assistant stated they "have to move patients to another room right after the procedure" and added that my son "didn't say anything funny." I was deeply disappointed. As a parent, this was a once-in-a-lifetime moment I had specifically requested. It is not the staff's role to decide what is or isn't meaningful to our family. This experience disregarded basic patient and family rights to participate in care and be present during key recovery moments, especially after sedation. We were not given even a few minutes to accommodate a reasonable, pre-communicated request. Instead, the focus appeared to be on quickly moving patients through rather than providing patient-centered care. Wisdom teeth removal is an expensive procedure, and families expect better respect for their rights and wishes. I will not recommend this practice to others.

It was one of the best decisions I have ever made! Honestly! The long back story is that I tried to have some teeth extracted at a very popular, very highly rated office in Chicago and had a really bad experience with the staff and then an awful reaction to the anesthesia at the actual appointment that left me really scared and nervous to ever go back and try it again. Being so far away, I obviously scheduled everything over the phone and had many questions about insurance and time frames, healing, you name it! I called this office a lot and ever single interaction was a positive and friendly one! Shout out to Marnie and Jamie for making me feel so comfortable and answering all my questions! My initial consultation went awesome and I was put right at ease, even with the 14, yes 14! extractions I had to have done! I expressed my nervousness to Dr. Fullmer (who could not be more of a professional and easy-going guy!) and he prescribed me a Valium to take two hours before surgery and it made all the difference! I was more relaxed going in and I was so grateful for that extra step of care to make this a good experience for me. Surgery went awesome and I'm happy to report that with even 14 extractions, I didn't get one dry socket or any infection, which the other office was actually preparing me for, saying that it was inevitable with that many teeth!
