I am trying to help a friend find a two-bedroom apartment. A two-bedroom two-bath apartment at Cameron Oaks is ALWAYS listed on Zillow, Apartments, etc. for $1765, but every time I have responded to an ad the past few months, they tell me that's actually their price for a one-bedroom. When I email them to confirm the price listed is correct they don't answer the question but respond by telling me to apply because their units do not last long. I just spoke with their Community Director, Rebecca Britschgi who confirmed that $1765 is not the price of a two-bedroom and she tried to act surprised when I told her that's the price that is listed on Zillow and Apartments.com. She even asked me what search engine I was using. They need to stop their false advertising! read more

This is solely based off communication with this apartment complex. I have tried reaching out to this complex for over a week to see an apartment. I reached out by phone (left 3 messages), 2 emails and 2 Zillow tour requests. I never heard anything back from anyone. What horrible customer service!!! I've lived here going on 4 years and absolutely love it. This is probably the nicest apartment complex I've ever lived. I've had such great neighbors and the grounds are kept with care. It's such a quiet and peaceful environment. Christina the property management director is so friendly and helpful. Maintenance Mike has been so prompt and responsive with my service requests for the time I've lived here. He gets every job done superbly and with a smile and always with friendly conversation. I took a tour on this last Tuesday morning. And was told there was one bottom floor apartment available that was two bedrooms. I was also told to fill out an application as soon as possible as they go fast. I did that Tuesday night. Rebecca, who is working on Tuesday told me that she would always be available by phone if I called the office number. She told me office closed on Wednesday and Thursday . Said they were administrative days but, that calll would ring to her phone. This place had more number options than a person can fathom. But NONE of them got me anywhere. I started calling Wednesday morning. And I called off and on all day Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Multiple numbers multiple messages. I sent emails. I even called the main main office and was transferred to somebody. That was supposedly a manager of Cameron Oaks. I did leave a message that was on Thursday, I didn't get a call back . today's is Friday. And I never got a return call from anybody. I have been so disappointed and I have gotten very angry. Because I really did like Cameron Oaks. But then it makes you think what if it was a real emergency. And I was renting.I don't understand how a large company can be so irresponsible. I did read something be rose had similar situation couple years ago. How many have had this happen and didn't write a review?? I just keep Shaking my head in amazement of my sincere interest and then nothing. I have good credit, good rental background and the incredible me to Make moving in an option. Maybe this review will get someone's attention. At one point said they should be paying me for all the calls, emails and messages that I left in a couple of numbers where you have to listen to a two minute recording before every message. Ridiculous!!! Even had my daughter stop by office to see about any additional numbers. So stressful and upsetting. In the mean time, Rebecca had said They were currently reimbursing credit check cost . But, at application , I had to also pay$100 to apply. I don't know status on anything . No one could not understand why I have been over top stressed about this and upset . Maybe this review will get someone's attention !!! read more

When planning a move back to my home town from a luxurious apartment complex in Yolo County I spent a great deal of time looking for my forever home. I found Cameron Oaks and knew right away it had all I was looking for, the same pool, spa, gym and sauna as well as an awesome clubhouse. The apartments are spacious and well kept up with indoor washers and dryers which are a must. I fell in love with the surrounding area and the staff and maintenance crew. Upon move in, my slider door was replaced to update and ensure it was 100% perfect. I love this area and can't wait to utilize the outstanding amenities here. An additional love is the blackberry bushes and garden area that my granddaughter just loves. There are plenty of reasons to love Cameron Oaks, pet friendly, people friendly, affordable and yet offers so much. I'm not going anywhere for a very long time. read more

I absolutely love living here first off, second I just bought a new car a couple months ago and I had just spent 3 hours at the dmv getting new plates for it and I went to put them on my car I realized I didn't have the right size screws, and the 2 maintenance people roaming the property just happened to check the trash bin near where I parked my car and I asked if they had a screw that fit my car by chance, they left for 5 minutes came back and brought me 2 that fit, that is definitely above and beyond. They didn't have to help me but they did and just made my day. 100% recommend this place. read more

I lived at Cameron Oaks Apartments for three years and had a great experience there. Kristina and Mike have done a fantastic job of updating the landscaping, signs and lights. They even sent out a survey this year to proactively find out what maintenance issues needed to be addressed in the units. Mike is responsive to maintenance requests and provides service with a smile. Kristina takes residents' concerns seriously and takes action right away to address any issues that come up. I especially appreciated her efforts to deter smokers from smoking inside the units, which cause respiratory issues for many people. This is generally a quiet complex, and it's nice to have mature trees outside the windows. read more

Cameron Oaks is a very fine apartment community in Cameron Park. It has been great watching all of the renovation work that is being done here. The entire property has received an exterior overhaul and looks great! The staff has made the residents a very high priority and it shows. The office staff has brought in some excellent employees that share this same philosophy of customer service. The maintenance staff and contractors have jumped on all of the concerns that have come up. They are polite and have the residents' living experience as a priority. The grounds are well kept, very clean, and offers a succluded setting that is hard to beat. The community is in walking distance of many retail stores, and services. You get a feeling of belonging with the community functions that happen throughout the year. This is an apartment community worth checking out before making your decision to move. read more

I've lived at Cameron oaks on two separate occasions now and honestly it's one of, if not the best place to live in Cameron park! Kristina in the main office is super awesome and accommodating and always available to help or answer questions! Mike the maintenance guy is awesome and has helped me out on several occasions! Not to mention a lot of the other tenants are amazing, I became very close to my upstairs and next door neighbors! They also have a very spacious pool area with propane bbq's ready to be used! Worse service with the leasing consultant! They never answer the phones! I walk down and they are in the office on the computer, both Kristina and Lori. Mike the maintenance guy is awesome and sweet and he gets back to us real quick. I have spoken to several neighbors and they say they have to email the office because they never answer the phones. My wife and I have been here for 1 year and we haven't been able to make one phone call to them. One day they were able to call us though for some issues! The apartments are really old and we didn't have a problem, until the stove stopped working. Our air conditioning went out about 3 times and my dog was hyperventilating and I told Lori and she said let's not be so dramatic. What kind of response is that for someone that pays rent on time?!? Well we are moving! We would have stayed if you guys were more helpful and kind. Get it together! read more

We love Cameron Oaks! I have lived at Cameron Oaks for a few years and from day one was blown away at the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Kristina in particular was always so kind and understanding. Any time there was a maintenance concern, Mike was quick to fix the problem. We enjoyed all of the trees surrounding the building, the beautiful leasing office, quiet gym, the pet friendly atmosphere, and most of all the affordability for the area. We also loved when the leasing office put on events throughout the year i.e. halloween celebration and canned food drives. Living here was the best experience my husband and I had at an apartment complex and we would highly recommend Cameron Oaks to any potential residents. read more
