PSA - Only come to Camille Fields- Restorative Skin Therapy if you have BIG money to spend. I initially came here for one of the cheapest treatments, which was $275. My skin looked worse than expected to Camille upon initial observation, so my treatment was increased to $375 for a different treatment. I was already lying down upon being swayed with the idea and did not have a choice, and I accepted because I was desperate for an improvement in my skin. For the entirety of the treatment, Camille was selling me on different products for my acne. I have no problem with skincare products, but I prefer silent facial treatments. As I was a new customer, I agreed to everything she was influencing me on. The red flag was that she never mentioned prices. To make a long story short, my total came out to over $700 as a first-timer (I attached receipts for my first and second appointment, which was over $500). The products did help my skin, which is why I chose to come back a second time, where I also set a third appointment. After my bank account had been drained the first two times, I was still open to returning for a third time. However, I contacted Camille prior to the date, to let her know I got COVID and couldn't make it. I was told she had no openings until MONTHS later. I let her know that the wait was fine with me. But, I was never scheduled for an appointment. Her availability month came along, and I never got a notice. If you are someone on a budget, or need an esthetician who is understanding of cancelations, this place is not for you. I've had acne since I was a teen (I'm 23 now) so I brought in my products and she gave me excellent advice on what to keep and what to trade in for something else. My skin after my first appointment w/ her is like the day I was born! lol I went to Camille with super dehydrated (full of dry patches), droopy, and dull skin from lots of work related stress. Camille did the "remodeling face treatment" on me which uses non invasive currents to lift and sculpt superficial and deep tissues. Let me first say that the facial was great. I agree with everyone that she knows her stuff. However.... I had the yelp deal on this one. In fact, I was actually asked if I reviewed a lot and said no, which I later felt like effected my visit. I read another reviewer who had a Living Social deal and felt like she thought you were only in it for the one time deal... Unfortunately I felt the same way. At the the end of the facial I was asking a lot of questions about products to better my skin before my next facial. I had my first facial with Camille in June. She gave me the Biologique facial (micro current) which I have been a fan of for years not to mention their product line which is by far my favorite. I have had facials all over LA and NYC and Camille is definitely one of the best!!!! The treatments are thorough but not over-kill (I hate it when there is a new product applied every 3 minutes). I always need the deep cleaning facial and this one is very effective with a firm touch and great, modern tools and cleansers. Camille has a great understanding of serenity and her studio is the loveliest I've ever seen. She even has a crisp white, light duvet instead of the usual white sheet, and it adds to the overall comfort and pleasure of the experience. I'm not one to write many reviews because things have to blow my mind for me to get too excited about them. Camille at Skin Addiks definitely is worthy of my praise! She thinks about all the details- from the lemon water when you walk in, to the very soft cloth she uses to wipe your face oh so gently, to the gentle yet thorough extractions, to awesome neck/face/foot massages, and finally to the chocolate or red velvet cupcake on the way outt! I've had some facials where the esthetician has walked out of the room while masques are setting -- but not Camille! She really works hard the entire time to makeover your face. I have struggled with acne for several years and have spent a small fortune on products and prescriptions. I felt like my skin needed a deep cleaning, but I did not want to have a harsh treatment(been there, tried that). A friend recommended Skin Addiks. I first had a thorough skin analysis to discuss my concerns. What I found most different was the fact that I was asked about my diet. "My what, I asked", in all the dermatologists visits over the years no one had ever asked me about what I was eating. I was told that what we eat, greatly influences the appearance of our skin. I was given suggestions on what to slowly try to eliminate, and what to start incorporating. My skin care treatment then began with each step being explained along the way. i went here after purchasing a great deal on Living Social. They had just recently moved to their new location and were still putting things in place. So while I waited, I got to listen to a lady banging nails into a wall. She was apologetic, but I just kept wondering why they couldn't do that before they opened or at the end of the work day when nobody was around. I expected to start my trip to Skin Addiks with a nice relaxing welcome. Not so much, lol. But it didn't ruin my experience. Camille was very nice. I really enjoyed my facial. I felt like she was very thorough and calming. I was pleasantly surprised with the warm towels on my feet, simple foot and neck massage. However, I indicated on my form that I hadn't had a facial in a very long time and that I hoped to get out of my experience some knowledge about a skin care regimen for my skin type. However, I didn't. I asked a several questions, but didn't really gain any knowledge on how to better take care of my skin. A lot of products were used, and I left with my face feeling a little sticky and red, but to be honest I didn't mind too much, because I trusted Camille knew what she was doing. She didn't try to sell me any products or schedule a future appointment, which sounds nice, but somehow it made me feel like she didn't care if I came back or not.
