I found this spot after researching where to go for a buccal massage. I treated myself to the facial and buccal massage. The facial was performed great, I needed it. But I was a bit disappointed on the buccal massage. I been to KoshaSpa in Sherman oaks and I guess they set my expectations high. I was excited and ready to relieve some tension from my jaw since it gets tensed up sometimes and wanted some relief. I did leave with a clean face and the facialist did get some extractions she saw in my ear so I thank them for that service. read more

Ok, I've been seeing Angela for years now and this last time I went in she gave me a micro needling facial. This was the first time I've ever had a facial like this before. The results were beyond my expectations. I'm going to list below a series of photos starting with the day before the facial you'll see that I have fine lines in my forehead, and my marionette lines are more predominant. You will see post treatment. there was very little redness, there is a photo of day two and final result where my Marinette lines are hardly visible, and the lines in my forehead are practically gone after one treatment. My skin peeled and sloughed off but you would have to be right in my face to see it. I am 51 years old and I have never done Botox or anything like that I simply trust Angela with my skin. read more

When I say steamer, it was to open pores before extractions which was done before chemical peel. Who would do extractions and open pores after chemical peel? Please do not say I know nothing when you keep twisting responses and editing your previous responses after my review. You mention you "always help between my facials at no cost" Please do not lie. For every facials done at your spa, I paid for my service. You would not do anything without money. 3.You do skip steps. You normally do cleanse well but you didn't last week. You normally use steams to open pores before extractions, you did not and proceed to squeeze hard. 4.How come you have no excuse to argue about the door wide open during facials? It was my first time going to Savva Skin Therapy and I don't think I'm going back. I am all for a relaxing atmosphere, which it was in the room I was in with nice music, but really that was the only thing. When I showed up for my appointment, my therapist did not introduce herself, didn't ask me anything about my body or skin, or if I had any questions. It was straight to the point: fill out the questionnaire and lay on the table. There was no neck cradle and I can handle maybe 30 minutes straining my neck, but I was there for over an hour. I was soooo dizzy afterwards and my neck is really sore. My therapist did not talk about what she was going to do at all. Not all back facials are the same and so I would prefer to know what's going on. It can be intimidating going to a new place and so when I don't feel like I'm in a welcoming environment I'm not going to be keen to ask questions. The only thing she said to me before doing extractions was "this is going to be painful." There was no follow up "if anything is too much, let me know or let me tell you about what I see." That would be helpful cause I can't see my back. There were 2 moments she left the room and didn't tell me how long she would be until she came back. And then at one point I believe the owner came in the room....she did not introduce herself or tell me she was even there. It wasn't until she was pushing what felt like a needle very hard into my back asking if a pimple had popped or of I had known I had ingrown hairs and then she left the room. It wasn't a good experience. If you are into experiences where they do the service and give you no information, then this is the place for you. read more

Let's face it - Customer Service was tough to begin with but this third year into Covid really brought out the beast in some people. (I see you 1 star reviews... and that thing about the tip. You're killing' me smalls.) I was regularly seeing Leta at Savva last year, and was so happy I finally found someone who was highly skilled at extractions. Little did I know, she would abruptly not be employed at Savva any longer. When I asked if someone could perhaps ask if she would be alright with passing my phone # so I could follow her wherever she went, I was met with such rudeness. No good business owner should gate keep their employees. If I went through all the trouble of trying to find out how I can continue with her care, I would think Angela should be kind enough to at least try to make the connection. Finding someone that is highly skilled at something one needs done, is so hard and overwhelming and expensive in this city - I really haven't found anyone who can tackle my blemishes the way Leta did and it really effects my self esteem when I have a break out. I am glad I found this place! Leta is amazing. I just moved to the area and was looking for a facial location closer to home. My first appointment went amazing. Leta cares and takes her time. My skin really suffers from acne, clogged pores and discoloration during season changes before it settles for a few months. In two appointments I see good improvement. The facial was five stars but I have to dock the rating because two of the women working at check-in/check-out and hanging out in the small lobby were not wearing masks. Masks are currently required in all private businesses and public spaces, regardless of vaccination status, due to the Delta variant. To not comply as a business, especially one that interacts with clients who are maskless during/after service, is unsafe and unprofessional. I will not be returning. That said, I received a deep cleansing facial from Yulia, who was the only employee I saw who WAS wearing a mask -- she was incredibly sweet and professional. Her facial massage is to die for. Worst experience ever. Angela has a language barrier problem. I asked for bikini sugar wax and she was so rough. At the end, she pokes at the ingrown and causes you to feel pain and bleed and she won't stop. I definitely do not recommend her. Also, she spoke very negatively about her last helper.
