Great place to relax! Our first time visiting this business. Will be back again in the warmer months. Great selection of metal artwork and yard flowers. Every size and color you can imagine. Christian music playing throughout as well. The owner Omar also donated a beautiful Talavera piece for our fundraiser. It was gorgeous! You will not be disappointed. Just a couple of things to keep in mind: 1. The people who work here are VERY nice but their sales tactics are a bit on the aggressive side. The first time I visited with my husband, one of the employees followed us around the entire time we were there, making us very uncomfortable and feeling like we were being unfairly targetted as potential shoplifters. The second time I visited on my own and once I made my final merchandise selections, the employee at the register continually urged me to keep looking around. 2. There is a wide array of beautiful merchandise but it is VERY expensive - even higher than in the Old Town quarter across the street. Head south to the Mexican border to the Pink Store in the town of Puerto Palomas and you can find most of this stuff for a fraction of the cost. (And get a beautiful cheap meal in the process.) With that said, I DID get a couple of lovely ceramic crosses on sale at a good price and managed to deflect the sales patter. read more

2/2022: HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Souvenir shop that's on steroids; Camino 66 has it all! Located off of I-40 & Rio Grande Blvd in the Historic Old Town area. I saw so many items that I just can't post every one of those gifts. From the inside it looks like a small shop. Noooooo, it's ginormous! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE: Extremely friendly, dedicated staff that helped me locate gift items I needed to give 7 friends for an upcoming girls weekend retreat. This store has some pretty unique pieces. I came in just to pick out a piece of pottery. I've collected pottery for as long as I can remember from all around the globe, therefore I couldn't pass up this chance to get my hands on a new piece of art. While the prices are not cheap as others mentioned, it's well worth the money if you intend to have a piece of pottery that will last a life time. The employees here were friendly and courteous even during this crazy New Mexico black out weather we are having here (the power was out as I looked at pottery, therefore I paid with cash and had to use the flashlight on my phone to see all merchandise). #supportlocal read more

My favorite store in all of the southwest! They have a huge assortment of Mexican imports including telavera pottery, patio ornaments, serapes, blankets, embroidered pillows, and religious art. I really really want one of the beautiful Mexican benches but it won't fit in my car. I love the posters outside and Christian music inside. read more

This is a super cool shop that has lots of great items. There are mirrors, ceramics, metal work and so much more. The staff are definitely present and helpful. If you want to buy something they will take it up to the front and hold it for you until you checkout. My sister and I both bought some metal work and they weren't cheap. If you're coming here to buy stuff, don't expect the prices to be kind on your wallet. Overall though, it's most definitely worth coming in and taking a look around. Huge selection of talavera; however, it is extremely expensive. Very close to Old Town though. Everything in the store was marked as 50% off but that "sale" still leaves the items at an inflated price point. Most items were $29+ with larger items being $70+. The sales associates follow you around letting you know every 5 minutes to let them know what you want, "take it home boss",... very annoying way to check up on people to prevent theft. I wanted a vase and didn't notice a chip on the side. I considered purchasing it since it was the last of its color; however the manager only wanted to give me $3 off, leaving the price still at $32. I think there are better options in NM for talavera. I would not return. Don't be fooled by the massive sale stickers posted on everything. They are priced at exactly what the store wants to make off of the item. read more

This store is packed with unique stuff and well displayed to cater to all of your retail therapy needs. I noticed the prices are lower here since they are not located in the town square. Generally prices are higher at the town square and get progressively cheaper toward the fringes. Plethora of Tchotchke, Oy! Will be back next year while attending the hot air balloon festival. read more

EXCELLENT customer service. I bought a pile of souvenirs and didn't notice I left one, a ceramic pot, at the register. A few days later, I came back because I had gotten the wrong size of a hoodie and wanted to exchange it. They not only honored the exchange, but they remembered my face from the other day and gave me back the pot I had forgotten. On top of that, the staff were really helpful while I was shopping and friendly overall. Definitely earned 5 stars. read more

I was pleased with the cool merchandise but the clerk said he would discount the wind spinner we bought to $105.00, instead they charged $111.95! They also wrapped it up in plastic and when we got home , it was the rusty sample that still had dirt on it! It is also way too heavy to spin unless you get hurricane force winds! Our other merchandise was great but I am certainly not pleased about the wind spinner! read more

Overpriced junk from Mexico. Beware before entering. Crazy Qanon radio station blasting junk throughout the store. Workers follow you around and don't give you space to shop. They use a signage pad where everyone signs their name after purchase. No cleaning between customer. Most employees don't wear masks and don't require customers to wear them either. No thank you. This is such a cool store. I am remodeling some bedrooms and doing my yard. I didn't know how big of a selection this place had. Tons of talavera pottery and metal and copper yard sculpture. Also a nice variety of the tin and tile mirrors. It is weird how they watch you like a Haarlem though, like there are a lot of shoplifters. read more

came here with my family while visiting for Christmas. We came in to look around and maybe buy some New Mexican tin art for our home. From the moment we walked through the door, I was constantly followed and watched like they thought I was going to steal something. Any time I showed interest in anything the workers with their oh so high tech little ear pieces would try to take whatever I was looking at and hold it up front even though I made it clear I was just browsing at this point. It's also worth mentioning that I am a black man and I have a white wife and in-laws. They did not receive this treatment and neither did any of the other white shoppers. That were shopping. I made it very clear to the man who was following me that I did not appreciate being followed. The following continued. I got angry and said I was leaving because I was tired of being treated like a thief when I was there to spend money in their establishment. I sure as hell wasnt going to steal any of their cheaply made overpriced items or even a pack of gum for that matter. I've never stolen anything in my life. So I walked outside to smoke a cigarette while my wife and mother in law continued shopping. Even then they had two people in the front entrance watch me until we left. So in summary i guess this is a good place to shop if you enjoy overpriced junk that can be purchased at any of the other stores in old town. Just don't be black. read more
