Cinco’s Cantina - Chicken Fajitas and El Tapatio

This is a restaurant I will never try again…read more The food was absolutely inedible. We should have stopped and canceled our order after the apps. We got the elotes off the Cobb. It was so overcooked the kernels of corn were the consistency of rubber. Whatever the sauce was sour and tasted foul. We each ate two bites and decided to just let it go. We also ordered the taquitos and the were just bland and greasy. Also stopped with two. Just a complete disappointment. My husband ordered the only burrito on the menu that was offered as a hand held. As you can see by the picture it was open and a sloppy mess. He took one bite and said he was good and didn't want to risk eating anything else. I got three different tacos chicken, beef and carnitas. I took a one bite of each and on my life, I've never tasted worse food. Everything tasted like it was days old. The ambiance is cute but I cannot understand the 4 star rating this place has. There was not one single item worth eating. I am convinced people giving this place five stars are friends or paid by the establishment to give out these stars. I have had crappy but edible Mexican food before but this had no redeeming quality. Go to Taco Bell if you need a taco. This was $85 before the tip and we left and ate somewhere else.

So yummy It's always hopping and with a full bar you are bound to find the drink of choice. Great menu options and the fajita are sizzling when they arrive. Some places don't do that.

I can't believe I lived around the block from HiFi Burritos for this long without trying it. On one…read morehand, I'm grateful because if I'd discovered it sooner, I'd probably be 50 pounds heavier. The food is absolutely incredible. Even though the menu is packed with fresh, healthy options, the portions are generous and everything is so good that self-control becomes a real challenge. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, a dedicated carnivore, a health nut, or just someone who loves great food, there's something here for you. The atmosphere is equally impressive. The space has a laid-back vibe with eclectic decor, friendly staff, and the kind of energy that makes you want to hang out for a while. They also serve beer and carry Maine Root sodas, which was a huge bonus. Great food, great people, great prices, and huge portions. HiFi Burritos has officially earned a spot on my regular rotation.

Our food was good. We enjoyed it. It did feel as something was missing seasoning wise. Maybe salt? We couldn't put our finger on it. It was a good lunch and I'm grateful we were able to find a burrito place that hit the spot. Ohh the cookie was really good as well! I thought about it the whole next day.

Vida Cantina - Chips and salsa flight. It was delicious! The Salsa Verde had a nice touch of heat and the Mango Habanero Salsa was great too.

You walk in and the vibe is fun, colorful, and eclectic. It reminded me of a classic Mexican restaurant with a tasteful, funky modern touch. My watermelon margarita was incredible and we got the salsa trio that had a good mix of spicy mango salsa, a mild but flavorful green salsa, and fresh pico de gallo style. The chips did taste homemade but if not still enjoyed the thicker corn style chip you don't usually find in restaurants! We each got 3 street tacos and all were great, even the sweet potato taco! The chicken was chopped a bit thick for street taco style but it was still great flavor, and rice was a bit salty but not unbearable. The service was also incredible, I love a restaurant that boxes up your leftovers for you and our server was super super attentive and friendly. We will be back!!

We (parents and a toddler) arrived hungry after driving two hours and had a hard time getting his attention at times. We arrived before 6pm on a Friday but still there was a wait. Once we were seated, the server was pretty prompt and really friendly, though generally service was somewhat slow with a wait for food. We were waiting almost an hour for entrees and about to change our order to to-go because of stress with our exhausted toddler, but of course that's when the food arrived. We had to shovel it in and leave. The food was the most disappointing part. The chips are clearly not homemade. The salsa didn't have much flavor, and the guacamole was a huge letdown. It had a dull green color and very "slop" style texture (think sour cream texture, not chunky like real guac) that all pointed to store bought / not fresh. I had the chicken enchiladas, and the sides of rice (so salty) and beans (very soupy) brought down an already undesirable dish. The enchiladas were cooked nicely but far too cheesy. The green sauce was nearly tasteless, the red sauce is what made it all edible. Wouldn't ever really come back here. I wish I could say something more positive!
