Careless, unprofessional, and ended up leaving the couch on the curb when I refused payment on sight and pointed out the multiple damages they caused including (but definitely not limited to!) deep gouges and scratches in knotty pine paneling and a toppled concrete/stained glass bench one of the employees tried to drag over and use as a doorstop instead of waiting the minute it would've taken for me to go around the side and hold it open myself. They were very apologetic and told me they had been in contact with the local branch. The local branch manager also reached out to me to apologize and confirm the full refund. I thought this was a generous resolution and very much appreciated it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Unacceptable Service & Communication - Forced to load their trucks for them and left with a ton of uncollected junk. We are a non-profit youth program that recently attempted to clear out four storage units worth of items. Much of it needed to be disposed of, so we hired Junk Punks MKE to help us clear out. We don't expect any person or company to be perfect, but every single minute of their service was one problem after another. Here was the series of events: 1. Late Arrival - The crew arrived 30 minutes past the scheduled time window. 2. Truck Already Full - The first truck showed up more than half full from other jobs. 3. Breakdown & 4-Hour Delay - That truck then broke down, and it was four hours before a replacement arrived. During this time, we had to repeatedly call to get updates as there was little communication from them. In all my experience with disposal and moving companies, they have procedures in place for trucks breaking down, Junk Punks clearly did not. During this time we ended up taking several loads ourselves with our own truck. 4. Second Truck, Same Problem - When they finally returned, the replacement truck was again over half full of other junk. 5. No Crew Left - By this time, the majority of the junk team had gone home for the day, leaving us to load the truck ourselves. That is labor we specifically hired Junk Punks MKE to provide. I do want to commend Meech, I assume he was the team leader, for being the only worker to return. He was apologetic, and doing his best alone -- I felt bad that the rest of the crew left him in that position. 6. Unfinished Job - The second truck quickly became full again, and because it was the end of the day they had no plans to return to collect more of it. Because of this, we were forced to rent our own U-Haul longer, incurring an additional $185 in rental costs on top of the disposal we must now complete ourselves. 7. No resolution - When I reached out to their company, they told me they would give us a total of $350 off for the inconvenience. I had felt this to be fair enough of a resolution for the experience. However, they never processed the full refund or sent additional communication. Since we ended up doing the labor for them, it would have been cheaper for us to just rent our own trucks and do everything ourselves. We do not recommend Junk Punks MKE.

I would NEVER HIRE THEM AGAIN. things I was quoted on when first calling that weren't done: never touched the cupboards, just wiped down the 6ft of counter, did little if any wiping down of walls, windows were washed after they requested we take the screens off to save time, a neighbor came back, washed down the trim and sills and vacuumed the curtains before putting screens back on, ceiling fans weren't touched, mopboards weren't done, there are still BIG cobwebs in the corners by the table, they refused to do the walk in tub because of mold. It was actually bad soap scum and the neighbor cleaned it for them ( took 1/2 hr) shower rod was thick with dust and cobwebs, sink wasn't cleaned and I doubt if they did the toilet. I don't think they moved a thing, just dusted around it. When I said I would never hire them again, they said they would reduce the price.
