I knew I wanted to work with all kinds of animals, but horses held a special place in my heart. As a result of Judy & Shelly's generosity, I had the opportunity to work side by side with their horses. At first, they weren't sure what to expect, and I was ill-advised to explain the process. I have worked with many humans but never animals. A chance was taken with me, and amazing things happened. Through our work, I learned how to communicate with horses and help heal their past dramas, and Judy & Shelly's horses were able to get the help they needed. Morning Star farm is a special place. I have been to many horse farms since and I have never seen two humans care and love for their animals as much as Judy and Shelly do. They are true heroes, who have saved countless animals and their work with neurodivergent children & adults has left me speechless. The love they have for their animals and clients is endless and that is a special gift to have! Thank you, Judy & Shelly, for being my teachers of all things horses and giving back to this world in a way most people can't even imagine.

Their number one goal is to make as much profit as possible with a business strategy of stretching your child's swim education experience out for as long as possible. For $140 for four 30 minute sessions, our daughter received about 28 1-2 minute laps around the pool during a shared session. So each 1-2 minute lap was $5 each. There is more sitting time than swimming time. The description of the course in which she was enrolled in on paper did align with her current swimming ability, however the course we decided to enroll her in based off their recommendation was a complete waste of our time and money. It consisted mainly of gently dipping her head in the water, floating on her back, and getting pulled around in the pool. She is at the point where she could learn how to paddle, but this wasn't even covered and you need to play a guessing game when selecting the course that covers that technique- NJSwim thrives off you selecting 2-3 courses lower than your child's ability based off THEIR descriptions. They may as well of have a weekly $140 donation box. NJSwim gets 2 stars because the personnel appeared to have safe practices, but we will not be returning and definitely not recommending this place to anyone. Save your money and go with private lessons.

Less than 24 hours after arriving, he asked us to pick him up because he no longer felt safe remaining at camp. His decision was based on the combination of several experiences during his first day and night, including conversations about firearms among campers assigned to his cabin, a public display of intimate behavior in a common area without apparent staff intervention, inadequate bathroom and shower privacy, apparent inconsistencies with the camp's medication procedures, repeated nighttime disturbances, and what were periods without appropriate adult supervision. The following morning, we met with camp leadership and decided to withdraw him after only one night. What disappointed us most was what happened afterward. We submitted a detailed formal complaint, but Camp Mason's written response did not meaningfully address the concerns we raised regarding supervision, facilities, medication procedures, or the overall circumstances that led our son to feel unsafe. The camp also declined to reconsider its decision regarding our refund request. Every family will have its own experience, but ours fell far short of what we expected from a YMCA overnight camp.
