History

Established in 1960.

Camp Wyoming began as a dream of church members who wanted to connect kids with God, nature, and life. It began in 1960 as a camp with tents, and the dream has since grown to a camp and retreat center that has hosted over 25,000 kids and adults over 50 years of fun, faith, and fellowship. The camp was built as a place to nourish a life of faith and extend the church's Christian education program beyond the congregation. Camp Wyoming has grown and adapted, becoming more sophisticated in its programming and facilities to meet the growing demand of service and activities for youth and adults, yet remain true to its calling to be a place set apart from one's busy life to hear the voice of God.
