They say they wash before each grooming but they dont..my schnauzer has knatting and saliva discolor in his beard and he still has dirty spots on his back..it all comes off and out when i wash him at home..he shakes uncontrollably and doesn't want to go in when i take him, they also charge different tax prices each time i go..dont take your pets here, find somewhere else thats better and cares for them..

Wrigley having a great time at Camp Bedford.

Love this place. We recently had to board our baby girl Wrigley. We are new to the area with no family near by so we had to find a place. She loved it. I love that we get daily pics of her playing. Also that the pups are kennel less expect for feeding. They are so accommodating. Our flight home was cancelled and we weren't able to get a flight home for another 48 hours. I was freaking out because it was a holiday weekend and worried they didn't have space for here. They were so awesome and assured us that it was no problem. Thank you so much Camp Bedford. It so nice to find a place that you can trust with our fur baby. We will definitely use you again.

Kai, my beagle, loves it here! I'm very happy to find a doggie daycare to accommodate my night shift hours.. which they did! The owners are very friendly! And its a crate free...another plus for m apartment doggie!

My cat Rudy was coughing and vomit I took him to see Neely…read more, as Dr. Miranda is no longer at CityVet. Neely did full X-rays and said Rudy has asthma but I don't think he needs medication for it. And then he tells me that my Rudy may die , Neely continues to give me scenarios as to why his friends have died ! This man talked so much bs about things that are irrelevant to me and my Rudy's condition. Neely charged me 400$ just to hear him talk bs . I have talked with neighbors and they agreed that he talks way too much about nothing that pertains to pets health care. I took Rudy to another vet because this idiot Neely said he would die! I learned that country veterinarians are more knowledgeable and compassionate.. New vet said that Can't see the forest through the trees!! My Rudy was properly diagnosed and treated and doing good today. Neely wasted my time talking bs , he basically charged me to hear him talk a bunch of bs. It's like one neighbor said he talks a lot because he doesn't know shit ! I will never return to this veterinary clinic, now that Dr. Miranda is no longer there . Do not trust Neely with your pets health care ! I have never had a vet tell me that my pets are going to die without a reasonable and proper medical diagnosis. Below is a picture of my Rudy today

It honestly looks like whoever groomed him either doesn't know how to cut dog hair or simply didn't care. Some areas look hacked with random layers, while other spots weren't cut at all. It looks less like a professional groom and more like it was done with dull paper scissors. To make matters worse, she dropped her dog off at 7:00am and didn't hear anything until 3:00pm and that was only because she had to call and check if he was ready. I understand they may have been busy or backed up due to reschedules from the ice storm, but that's not an excuse to deliver such poor-quality work. People are paying with their hard-earned money and deserve proper care and a basic level of professionalism especially when it comes to their fur baby. This experience was frustrating and unacceptable, and won't be returning.

I have a different dog now - a Maltese puppy named Maxwell - who is just over a year old. I started bringing him for Day Camp in the first quarter of 2024. He was very timid and unsure of what to do, but the excellent "camp counselors" at Pawhootz were so patient in doing their evaluations and making sure he felt safe and secure. Now, he acts like he owns the place! When I ask him if he wants to "go play," he goes berserk! And as soon as we pull into the driveway, chaos (the good kind) ensues. He has a little BFF that attends regularly, as well. When I pick him up at the end of the day, he is happily exhaunted. I confess that I balked a bit at the price and having to pay all at once at the beginning of each month; however, Maxwell attends day camp three times per week - when I can't work from home and must be in Dallas all day, I have real peace of mind knowing that he is well taken care of. Also, I love peeking in on the Webcam to see him playing with his buddies - it's the best part of my day! The management at Pawhootz is excellent - they are very responsive to questions and concerns, and they actually listen! You can tell that they have a heart for animals, and they treat them as if they were their own. We have been learning about boarding during the holidays. I was confident that he was safe and well cared for during the holidays. And they are working with me to find ways to alleviate his anxiety - puppies get anxious sometimes when we're away for longer than they are used to! We have not had a full groom here yet, but Maxwell got a luxurious bath and blueberry facial recently! They did a lovely job of brushing and cleaning him up - he was a happy peppy puppy when they brought him out to me. In summary, I highly recommend Pawhootz as a reliable, safe, secure, and trustworthy place to board fur babies. Between the creative enrichment activities and the amazing employees, they are a fun place for a few hours or a few days.
