We went by there unannounced to check it out, and we were given a tour on the spot, and their process was completely explained to us, and they answered every question we asked without any hesitation. This impressed us. We first took our older pups for a daycare play day, and they loved it. It went very well. We then boarded all 3 of our pups for a weekend, and all went great. We have met many of the people that work there, and they are all so nice and pleasant. You can tell they really care about the pets they care for. Our pups have all been back for daycare since, and will go back more in the future. They get so excited when we take them. We completely trust them with our fur babies, and know that our babies are receiving great care. I highly recommend them.

After getting to the car, I noticed blood on the seat and that he was licking his paw and unusually quiet. I took him back inside immediately, and they applied powder and said they "probably cut the quick." Accidents can happen, but what was upsetting was that this was not disclosed at pickup. There was a significant amount of blood, and I had to discover it myself after leaving. Transparency is important when it comes to our pets. Additionally, we were not happy with the haircut, as it appeared uneven and not what we expected. We hope they improve communication with pet owners in the future.

I would NOT recommend taking a pet that you love to this place. First of all, the appearance on the…read moreoutside is not very appealing and neither is it the inside. There was feces around the main area and all the dogs run free with each other big and small and that makes it difficult to even get in the front door! Once you do get in, the dogs are jumping up all around you. The staff seems to be very unorganized. When I came to pick up my dogs, they had lost one of our leashes and didn't even offer to compensate us for a new one. Instead when I asked the worker how they were going to rectify the situation, she offered me someone else's leash! I'm sure that's how they "lost" ours by giving it to someone else. They also told us that our dogs didn't have very much food left and gave us the bag. Later that evening when I went to feed the dogs I discovered that they put someone else's dog food in my dogs' food bag! As if I'm an idiot and don't know what my dogs' food looks like! Very unsanitary and unorganized.

First, the positive. The staff at TDR are extremely nice and really seem to truly love animal. So…read morethere's that. Now, the negative. Their prices are incredibly overpriced. Our boarding facility in California: 1. Charges $30 less per day. This is Oklahoma, not California. The prices should be priced accordingly. 2. Has a dedicated play area for each kennel which is considered an indoor/outdoor run. This is open 24/7. 3. The kennel's owner or staff are on the property 24/7. Our issues with TDR is if they really cared about their tenants, they would have staff on duty 24/7 for emergencies. If something happens after 6pm, your pet is screwed. They won't be checked on until 6 the next morning. That is not acceptable in our book. Another issue is our dogs can't hold their urine for 12+ hours and they urinated on their beds. That NEVER happened at our kennel in California. Now, we have to replace 2 expensive dog beds and to top it off, a dog chewed off the corner of their feed container. Our dogs are trained and wouldn't do that. Needless to say, TDR is off of our preferred list of boarding facilities. A sad lesson learned on our part.

We are currently on our way to the emergency vet, as this has become worse and more infected the last few days. They failed to notify us of any wounds or change in behavior, and if there was some sort of altercation with another dog and a puncture wound - they failed to tell us all together. It's so unfortunate that it has come to having to take further steps and get him to the vet for this. When we just spoke on the phone, we were told the manager was not around. She asked us "No one told you?" but didn't elaborate on this. Hopefully the vet can fix this quickly, but this is such a hazard and so dangerous to trust someone to your pet who doesn't even notice the tiniest changes in behavior. Unfortunately, sometimes you have to take the risk of a place not really knowing what you're getting, or who is actually doing what they're paid to. Horrifying.
