Their logo says "Pets helping people." The owner trains previously incarcerated women to groom dogs. This teaches the women a trade so that they can earn a living. Each customer is assigned to a groomer, so they get to know your pet. Baxter's first groomer graduated and he was assigned a new groomer. She's sweet and gentle with Baxter. She told me that she had trouble clipping his nails because he didn't want to let her do it. Someone else showed her how. His nails looked great. I love having trainers working with the groomers. The last place I took his gave him several nicks so I had to find a place I could trust. They have notes on him that he has skin tags and to be very careful. He's never gotten a nick or a skin tag cut at Muddy Paws.

Great place! They give extremely cute haircuts for my pupper. Although it is on the pricier side of things, she always comes out looking adorable. They're very kind as well.

My sweet Maltipoo, Cloudy. She always comes home pretty and smelling so fresh!

I adore Muddy Paws! They treat my girl, so well! We adjust for seasons as far as trim - they are so sweet and accommodating. She always comes home happy!

I love the staff, I love their mission... but more importantly, Spencer loves to go! Spencer has been going every three weeks for almost 2 years. I've never had a bad experience or anything short of stellar customer service. ... and if you have a doodle, you know it isn't easy to find a fantastic groomer!! #DoodleApproved #Tulsa

We recently moved to South Tulsa and needed to find a new vet clinic for our pups. With the…read moreconvenience of RTAH being within minutes of our neighborhood, we decided to give them a shot. I spoke to Jenny at lengths on the phone when I made the initial appointment to obtain pricing and what care package would best suit our needs. We arrived the next day for our appointment - the facility is nice and clean! We were taken to a room by Monica who had quite a bit of knowledge and suggestions for flea/tick prevention, etc. Then we got to meet with Dr. Caruso who we absolutely adore! She has excellent bedside manner, took the time to listen and provide her feedback/suggestions based on the needs of our pups. She suggested that we do a courtesy dental check in 6 months as it just wasn't necessary to spend all kinds of money for dental cleanings at this time - our pups are getting older and we don't want to unnecessarily put them under for a cleaning, if it's not necessary...we appreciated Dr. Caruso's guidance and expertise - she genuinely cares and wouldn't suggest something that isn't necessary just to make a quick buck. She has integrity and high ethical standards. One of my pups has a known vaccine reaction so he always has to be pre-medicated. Dr. Caruso shared that most small dogs react to lepto, so did not get him vaccinated for that nor did we pre-medicate him. Unfortunately, my pup did react, so we discovered it was likely the rabies vaccination since he was not vaccinated for lepto. My pup was taken back and treated with a round of antihistamines and steroids - Dr. Caruso was very kind to comp those two injections. Our pups have "alerts" on their accounts now so that the RTAH staff know what allergies and special instructions to follow when our pups are seen - Monica even showed us the alerts so we were comfortable about the notes listed. We talked about switching dog food and Dr. Caruso walked out into the lobby, showed me the dog food and even grabbed the bag of dog food and carried to our exam room for us. The next day, Dr. Caruso called to check on the pups and also to provide us with fecal/blood work results. She told us to call if we even needed anything. Quite frankly, coming from a family of veterinarians, I'm extremely picky, with high standards and expectations when it comes to the care of my pets. Dr. Caruso and the gals at RTAH we're stellar - we will definitely be back and look forward to continuing a relationship with RTAH!
