We are doing the month long training program in July so I had spoken with them and was familiar with Parker and Haley. They were not annoyed by any of my questions and Parker was very helpful in correcting some troublesome behaviors before we had Bolt stay with them. She came back leaner and with a shinier coat than when we dropped her off. I'll be posting another update once we do the month long board and train program, but I can say they are very affordable. While $1500 is no small fee, most other board and train programs are that or more for only 2 weeks!! Bolt is a Great Pyrennes mix so she has quite the independent streak but we'll see what magic Parker and Haley can work in July. I cannot say enough about Southern Pro Kennel. Their location is convenient to downtown but far enough out that they have a large amount of land to work with the dogs on. The park has separate areas for small and large dogs, which makes it easy for pups to play with dogs their own size. There is plenty of space to run, explore, and burn off energy, plus fun turf-covered mounds and obstacles scattered throughout the park. One of my favorite features was the water area. There are splash zones, water features, and pools where larger dogs can cool off while playing. As a tiny Italian Greyhound, I mostly supervised from a safe distance, but the big dogs seemed to love it. For the humans, there are plenty of benches and seating areas throughout the park. You can grab a pint, relax, and watch the dogs play instead of standing around a typical dog park. They also offer treats, toys, and other dog goodies if your human feels like spoiling you. Dogba's verdict: Great place to socialize, stretch your legs, make new friends, and remind your human that dog parks are more fun when snacks and drinks are involved.

For one, bartenders never left your drink on a ledge expecting you to just know that it's yours without acknowledging you whatsoever. And when you ask if the drink chilling by itself unattended is yours, you get some funny looks thats for sure. Because why would a bartender who knows how quickly roofies can happen just leave your drink unattended? It takes me a minute at most to get from the door to the park down the stairs to the actual park. I think it's plenty reasonable to wait until the dog is in the park before giving the customer their drink. I'm not carrying a beverage while my 60lbs dog drags me to go play with other dogs. I'm also just confused? For the first few visits I had staff reassuring me that my dog was fine and he's not breaking any rules. Then it's like a switch flipped, particularly with one staff member, who asks me to seclude my dog or leash him every single time I come at this point. I watch my dog and would already put him in a leashed time out to calm down if necessary and I've done it before without being asked to. My dog is two years old. So he still has learning to do and I'm working on that with him. But I'd really love for the staff to show me a video of the allegations that my dog is biting other dogs or grabbing them by their ears. Because it would be a crazy thing for him to only have this behavior at this particular bar and nowhere else. I think it's crazy though when other dogs lock into my dog and play right with him, my dog is still the problem and needs to be isolated. I wish I could say that I was just being a pick me and wanting things done my way, but I absolutely wouldn't even bring my dog here if he had any sort of dominance or behavioral issues. My dog was attacked twice by a dog at this bar, and the aggressor dog went on to attack another dog before the lady who owned him decided to leave. But again, my dog is a problem right? I think this bar caters to the apartment complex and friends of the people who work there/own the joint. If I do decide to come back here it will probably be to join a friend, but I don't know that I'd want to come back here on my own accord.

This breed is incredibly large, but it doesn't phase the staff in the least. While a little more expensive than some of the other local groomers I have used over the years, I am confident that my pets have been well treated and the staff does a great job, not an easy undertaking. The new facility is gorgeous, particularly noticeable is the additional room they now have for boarding, something I will now consider given the more expansive space. The staff has always been friendly, engaging and kind to my pets, now with the new facility, it's time to consider the additional services.

I will let you know that if you board you have to pay separate for daycare, which is normal, but I felt like it was a bit confusing here as to add to the price, and ended up costing me an extra $40. I will say that it's a great place though for the value and the people. Our dogs seemed happy when they arrived and when they left. The old location was a lot more personal, I think because they've gotten larger, the second time was a bit more difficult to get feedback on how the dogs behaved.

I only went to Savannah, GA and drove as fast as I could to the kennel. Sign said no pickup until after 3pm. I'm there - they wouldn't let me go back to see her when they brought her out I noticed something was not right with her backside. I asked what happened to her? The girl looks at me and says I have no idea she goes but you did sign off on liability. At this time, I just wanna get Delilah home, but I wanted to come across the counter and ring her neck I looked at her and I said I signed off on liability, not negligence. You have veterinarians right next-door. Something happened to her and she should've been seen. After going to an emergency veterinarian in downtown Chattanooga $8000 later, my dog who just turned four in 2025 is handicapped. She has damage to her back vertebrae's and her anal sphincter. So in other words when she has to go poop, her little nub will go straight up in the air, I have to run to get her outside. She has no control. She also can't wag her nub anymore either I would never recommend this place and I have medical records to back up improve what I'm saying is the truth. I now have a dog that if I need to board her and I have found a boarding facility that I do love she has to wear a diaper. Biggest mistake I have ever made, and I have to live with this for the rest of my life. And unfortunately, so does Delilah.

They carry a wide…read moreselection of pet products from harnesses, toys, treats, to a variety of dog foods, clothes and blankets, and grooming products. They even have an in-house bakery. If you're coming for cat products, you have some options, but not as much compared to the big chain stores. They even have a dog wash station! The self wash stations are available by appointment and also on a first come, first serve basis. The stations close at 6 pm Monday through Saturday and close at 4 pm on Sundays. Wash and dry time is limited to 30 minutes total per dog and costs about $15 per dog. Add on's (de-shed, for example) are available too. A rewards program is also offered in which you can obtain points and use them for a discount when a certain threshold in reached. Also, check their website for monthly promos, too! Lastly, we were also told they have two sister stores as well: Play Wash Pint (barks and brews) and Play Wash Stay (boarding and daycare). We look forward to checking out each one. Just love this place! Everything you need for your furry friends is here with exceptional staff, who are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Bring your pet in for a friendly shopping spree ;-)
