I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience at Camp Bow Wow in Cherry Hill, NJ. As a dog owner, I was expecting a fun and safe environment for my pup to socialize and get some exercise. Unfortunately, my expectations were shattered. We scheduled and were accepted for an interview which our fur baby met expectations. The staff was friendly and professional. When I dropped off my dog, I was greeted with enthusiasm. The staff seemed very interested in caring for my dog's needs. I was then advised that I needed to pay for a two-day stay at a discounted rate before they would agree to accept her for boarding. No problem, I did that with much excitement because we believed we had found a wonderful place for our baby. On the first day of her stay, I was informed by the owner that our baby got into a scuffle with another dog but that it was ok. She then advised me of their three strikes and you're out policy. Our baby came home that day tired and a little unlike herself, but we assumed it was because she played so much and had a fun day. The second day, I received a call that our baby had attacked a sleeping dog, and it was captured on video. I was then advised we would discuss her ability to be boarded once I picked her up that day. I was in disbelief because that didn't even sound like our baby, but there was video proof, so it must be accurate. I mean, the owner of a reputable establishment would not lie. Well, in my opinion, that is exactly what she did. I arrived with my 10-year-old daughter to pick up our baby and was eager to see the video. We witnessed a dog who was not asleep as led to believe and our dog being startled and therefore defending herself by barking and then attempting to fight back after being sprayed with a water hose. We were then informed in a sheepish and unprofessional manner that this facility would not be able to board our dog as previously agreed upon. The reason we were given was that our dog starred at a geriatric dog (the sleeping dog she allegedly attacked) in a suspicious way and that because our rescue dog was not with us for at least three months they could not board her. Now, in full disclosure, I wanted to write this review because I was very upset that I felt that Camp Bow Wow, wasted my time and just wanted me to pay for a two-day stay. I find that I was upset because they did not diligently review our intake paperwork, wasted my time, and scammed me for a two-day stay. If they do not board rescue dogs who haven't been with their owners for less than three months, why was our baby interviewed in the first place as this appears to go against Camp Bow Wow's policy? I clearly stated on the intake paperwork that we had only had her since March. After this stressful day, I was now faced with finding another facility to house our baby because we were going out of town for my graduation. I eventually did find a wonderful place and could not be happier with how they are caring for our baby, more about them in another post!!! I would not recommend Camp Bow Wow in Cherry Hill to anyone. The facility has too many dogs which is ripe for aggression. This experience has taught me that my dog needs fewer dogs, a more loving environment, and an attentive staff who understands that while dogs are our family members they are still dogs. I appreciate having a negative experience with Camp Bow Wow because it allowed me to see what my dog needed. It allowed me to find her home away from home. My dog Chewy loves coming here! We're still new (2weeks!) so can't give quite the perfect 5 stars yet as I've only tried the doggy daycare services.. but so far so good! We just moved to New Jersey from Hawaii and we had loved our previous doggy daycare! So of course i want what's best for my fur baby! He's the kind of dog that has lots of energy and just constantly wants to play. With both me and my husband working, and plus the Jersey weathers where we can't always fulfill his needs.. this was is the perfect place for him! He gets to socialize, run around and play with other dogs all day! And we travel a lot so they also take care of boarding him too. Plus the services such as baths and nail trims etc are a plus. Be prepared to go through a little doggy interview first which takes about 3 hours. Within this time, you can tour the facility and ask any questions you have. They put together a folder too for you to take with. Then your fur baby goes through the interview process where they just introduce him/her to a dog, then another dog and then a few more dogs to introduce them slowly to see how they interact. How they interact with and without toys just to see if they will tolerate being in a group. I wasn't worried because he used to go to a previous doggy daycare before. But it's just standard procedure and for the safety of the dogs. A big plus for the interview, is your doggy can take full advantage of the daycare for free that first day! You can view your dogs through their cameras through either their website or through their app. So it's very convenient. Only thing I miss is when compared to the last doggy daycare we went too.. they had more obstacles and things to play with to keep them busy. But my dog has always come back tired.. so I'm not really complaining haha! So far so good and all the staff has been really nice! Will continue bringing Chewy! read more

Heidi, if I misunderstood the number if employees your business has, I'm sorry. As far as three other points, 1. You and I spoke within 24 hours of me picking up my dog. It was 2 or 3 days before she started showing serious symptoms of breathing difficulties and signs of a cold/kennel cough. 2. I was worried about the leash itself FAR less than what damage to my dog's mouth, nose, and throat might have occurred from her access to it during the prolonged amount on time she had to chew on it. 3. Your employees did lie. I said they said they have no idea how it could have happened, not that they said they didn't see it happen. If you knew that dogs could (and have) dumped the containers outside of their pens, then so did your employees. While I appreciate your open dialog concerning my experience, that is the only piece of professionalism I've encountered... And unfortunately, most of the communication has been to tell me how I handled this incorrectly, not to take responsibility for running a business that you obviously know deals with stressed out animals. Pay more attention to alleviating their stresses, and you'll be able to spend less time making excuses. read more

I was very paranoid about boarding my dog for a weekend while I traveled to Florida and did my research and based on reviews this place seemed like the best option. The staff is extremely friendly who do their best to make you feel comfortable. However, I was not while being away. They place the dogs in designated areas based on their size and at one point there was 20, maybe more, dogs in one area. I was also not a fan of how all the dogs were able to pee and poop in the middle of the play area and relied on the staff to clean it with a mop when they saw it. I do like the live stream of the dogs playing so I can check on him, however, at one point, 3 bigger dogs were ganging up on my 11 month old. I called and left a message voicing my concern and I never received a call back, which made me feel extremely uneasy. When my dog returned home, I noticed the pads on his feet were torn as you can see in the pictures. I wasn't notified when it happened, or even made aware of it when I was picking him up. I do believe this place may be a better option for day care rather than boarding since most people do seem to enjoy leaving their dogs here for the day. read more

I have brought my dogs to Camp Bow Wow Cherry Hill multiple times. I made my reservation online Monday 5/31 for the following Saturday 6/5 for an overnight stay. I received my confirmation email on Tuesday 6/1 confirming both of their reservations for 6/5. I received a phone call on Friday 6/3 at 6:32PM telling me that they will no longer accept my puppy because he was not fixed by June 1st, the day they confirmed my reservation. This has now put me in a panic on what to do with my dogs. While I understand there are policies in place about not accepting un-fixed dogs after 7mo of age, to give someone 14 hrs notice and canceling their boarding reservation is absolutely terrible customer service. Why was a call not made when the reservation was confirmed? Way to put a customer in an absolutely terrible position and really screw them. read more

Yesterday, June 22, 2015, I went to pick up my Frenchie named Henry after a weekend at the Cherry Hill Camp Bow Wow, and I was waiting in the Check-Out area, per Camp Bow Wow Policy. They brought a few other dogs, through checkout, right past me in the little check out area. Then they brought out the wrong dog and were holding the leash waiting for me to take it. It was a pit bull or larger dog of some sort, also named Henry. Henry did not recognize me, and looked a little scared, so that's when I realized they thought it was MY Henry and I said, "That's the wrong Henry." The workers - both at the front desk and the one bringing out the dog, didn't realize it was the wrong dog until I told them. We have been going to this CBW location for a year, and our dog has been here 17 times, the most recently last month for 9 or 10 days - and they still don't know who we are. I asked the girl working the front desk if there was any sort of system for preventing people from taking the wrong dog, like showing ID. She didn't really have an answer. The owner, Heidi, called me later that night and tried to explain to me what had happened - she said the girl at the front desk is new and she didn't ask our last name and just called the back for Henry, but still that did not make me feel better. I ended up telling Heidi she lost a customer, and I I think I was probably rude to her on the phone, but I was emotional and worried about my baby, thinking he could have been handed to the wrong person upon pickup. I also asked her for a refund, and she refused. Heidi also told me that doggie daycares bring out the wrong dogs all the time, and if they say that never happens, they are lying. She also cursed at me on the phone, which I felt was very unprofessional, and told me I knew nothing about running a f******* business. My husband ended up calling Heidi later to try to fix the situation, and to be fair, she did offer us a free night (which we won't use, as I am not comfortable taking Henry there again.) But she also said if we posted anything on their Facebook page, she would call her lawyer. I am a journalist and extremely familiar with slander and libel, and it's not slander or libel if it's true. I just thought that others who frequent this camp would like to know what happened to me and how it was handled by the management - especially other Henry's mom or dad. read more

My baby boy Harvey was brought here for an "interview" a few weeks back to make sure the he played nice with the other dogs. His day there led to him plopping down in the front seat and sleeping the whole way home and through the next day. Clearly this is a great place to bring dogs to tucker them out. The first day is "on the house", but after seeing how happy he was after that day sleeping so sweetly next to me, I knew he had to go back. When it came time to find a boarding facility for the pooch when I was going to be walking in the breast cancer 3-day, this was the only place to come to mind. He was dropped off bright and early on Friday and stayed through Sunday evening. Sunday was a bit of a mess as I needed to get a jump start for my dead car battery car before getting to Cherry Hill to pick up my boy. The kennel was supposed to close at 7pm, but after calling and telling the camp my situation Heidi very graciously told me that she would stay open until I could get there. Bless that woman's heart because all I wanted after the weekend was to see my dog. The employees that I have met are all so nice, the facility is clean, and if you've never left your dog before it's a real comfort to be able to check up on your furry friend through the "camper cams" online. I have absolutely no qualms in leaving Harvey here when I go out of town, he has a great time, I'm reassured anytime I miss him by visiting the web cams on their site, and they're the most reasonably priced place in the area for the type of stay that your pooch will have. read more

I found Camp Bow Wow on Yelp and decided to try it out. I am so glad I did! I have two puppies, a 1 yr. old 78 pounder and a 16 wk old 22 pounder, and they loved being there. I had to bring them in for their "Interview" to see how they played with the other dogs. It was great because you can leave them for free for the whole day. They did fine so I am able to bring them back to board for the holidays. The staff is wonderful. They really love dogs and their jobs. They are very thorough, making sure they have all your pets info about medication, feeding, do they need naps, can they have peanut butter! No better place in South Jersey to feel comfortable leaving your dog for daycare or even a week or two. We've been using this CBW location ever since it opened (3 or 4 years ago ) and our dog loves it. Friendly staff that remembers our dog even when she hasn't been for a weeks. While it can be somewhat pricey if you leave your dog for a week, I think it's worth the peace of mind. The best part? They will be extremely tired when they come home. read more

I don't know who likes camp bow wow more... Me or my dog? I have been taking my pooch there for over a year! The staff is great!! I take my dog 4-5 days a week for a full day of daycare. When he leaves there he is exhausted for the rest of the night! He can barely keep his eyes open once he gets in the car to go home... Camp bow wow is amazing. My 1 1/2 year old frenchie loves it there!!! He goes once a week and the staff always remembers his name as well as me and my husband. The facility is clean and the staff takes great care of your dog. Sometimes my dog won't eat breakfast before we go so I pack a lunch...and if you ask they will always accommodate feeding him midday. We left him overnight many times and it's awesome to see him on the web cam. You can also call and check how your dog is doing. Prices are reasonable and they offer many packages. My dog Chloe went as a puppy and they were fantastic. We moved away in 2014 , moved back in 2020, they are not so great now. Rude customer service, we go at least 2 times a week they never know who she is or why I am there. She had 2 allergic reactions back to back after visiting for day camp. No one knew what I was talking about but when I asked if they feeding treats they said no. I mentioned her allergy and her reaction magically stopped after I said something. It's a little expensive but now they demand you buy a special "break away" collar to be allowed in. We tried K9Resorts. Its beautiful. The staff is 100% better. My dog loves coming to daycare at Camp Bow Wow. He gets excited before we even turn on the road. They know him by name when we walk in. Makes us feel very welcome and we know they treat our dog well when he is there. I love to watch the webcams, I think that's a good feature because sometimes I miss my pooch during the day and I can be at work and check in on him by watching the cams. UPDATE: 7/2017 I decided to once again to try this place after a couple of months of a disappointing situation that occurred , I dropped her off just for a few hours while my carpet was being cleaned .. when I picked her up she was apparently nipped at "from playing" and bleeding from the ear which did not stop with "pressure" as she told me to do ..so I had to go out and purchase some liquid bandage to keep it from dripping all over the house . I understand that the dogs play and sometimes get a little rough but my goodness ! If you see it stop them because she's clearly not the only one , I feel if this is a constant problem the dogs need to be put in their kennels as a form of punishment or ban until their behavior changes..or be put in a different section with dogs that match their personality/energy .. or maybe ONE person isn't enough to supervise 12-15 dogs at once !!! I've even repeatedly told them to separate her from the dog she's playing with when it's becoming too rough .. I've watched on the camera many times how they would walk right past dogs who are clearly playing too rough and even humping each other .. fast-forward to a week later after being at the camp she's been coughing and hacking every time she gets excited or starts to play almost like she did when she caught kennel cough .. took her to get looked at and turns out to be a upper respiratory infection .. I'm just over it I wish I could find another camp because she's fully vaccinated and healthy and has never had any problems nor has she ever been sick it's ONLY when she comes from this place and I'm done with it .. if it's not a dire emergency and I can't find another camp I will not be coming back to this place especially if things don't change ! THEY ALWAYS HAVE AM EXCUSE FOR EVERYTHING ITS ANNOYING .. at the least they can apologize and give some type of discount or something ! But every time it's an excuse as to why it happened and why it's not their fault .. 12/27/16 This place is Ridiculous ... I had one incident a couple weeks back this year where I left her and she when she came back days later she had a horrible case of KENNEL COUGH they CLAIMED to not have had any outbreaks in months but that's a LIE because she definitely caught it from this camp !!! (Vet said it , and they later agreed) I understand that it's impossible to keep it from happening so I let it go and I tried this place again over the new year weekend And once again she comes back with something .. she had several kinds of red/bleeding bumps and lumps all down her back along with patches of missing hair .. I'm not exactly sure what they are yet .. but I will update this review when she comes back from the vet. Maybe it's a bit soon for a review, since we have only been bringing the dog here for two weeks, for half-day care. (We haven't tried boarding or grooming here yet, so I can't comment on those services.) The dog loves this place. When we pull into the parking lot, he can hardly wait until I open the back door, trying to squeeze out behind the driver's seat; then he temporarily forgets what he's learned about not tugging on the leash as he tries to hurry us to the door. Later, when I check the webcam, he always looks as if he is having a great time. When we have to wait a minute or two to check in, he can hardly contain his impatience to go in to the play area. The dog's reaction to going there confirms my positive opinion. The staff have been consistently courteous and efficient, and the dogs seem comfortable with them. My impression is that the level of supervision is appropriate. Each section has an attentive human present while the dogs romp or relax. The prices are reasonable. The dog would probably give Camp Bow Wow 5 paws up if he were writing this review. I'll wait until we've been coming here a while longer to add that fifth star. read more

I've taken my dog, Butters enough times for boarding/all day pay. Every single time ether my husband, my mother, or I have dropped him off or picked him up - there has been issues. Over-charging, under-charging, forgotten baths, not giving him his greenies, "oh does he like peanut butter?" CHECK YOUR NOTES. We go over these things EVERY single time I drop my dog off. This place is unorganized, chaotic, and they put their staffing problems/issues on you. Our family and puppy is flexible and understanding but to a certain degree. The owner didn't even seem to care that I was going to write a review - which is why I decided to take time out of my busy day. Thanks for reading. POST OWNER COMMENT: THIS business's mistake should never become the customers problem. I am a RN in center city Philadelphia and deal with THOUSANDS of details regarding patients allergies, problems, and issues EVERY SINGLE DAY. I believe I DID give enough detail to address the crate being brought in when I was told "it's okay" or "Yeah that's fine", and let's not forget the "forgotten bath". Saying "oh well we will owe you guys one the next time" is unacceptable. What if there isn't a next time? AND do you even know who checked me out on Sunday, Oct. 9th? It was a gentleman covering for a lady and decided to bring a portable flat screen TV in to watch the Bengals game. Maybe that's why the bill was messed up? Distraction? Humans make mistakes. I'm sure I make one every day. But I admit to them. And take them. And don't make the patient/customer suffer because of them. I AM very reasonable. Believe it or not. But I am not stupid. If you guys would've just said "Ok. We messed up. We can give you a free night" I would've let it all go. But you insisted on me paying. No other option was given. 4 missed phone calls and 3 voicemails all within 48 hours. Sorry for not answering as I was working NIGHT SHIFT and am a busy working adult. You can have that payment. im writing this review again because the owner lied on her last reply back to my google review. i will say this again, i told you my dog cannot be left alone at all and when we were there having our first interview, we told the staff that and they said he will not be left alone. i stressed the severity of the situation to just to make it clear so there wasn't any miscommunication. i don't appreciate you lieing on your reply and also; i had to tell you to call my partner to apologize because his son was in your care at the time and on top of that, he told me you weren't even genuine, like really?? what would you do if the same thing happened to you? you were more worried about what was happening in your personal life then your clients children! im livid! if you took ownership, i would have never even wrote this review. i told you at the end of the day, my dog was dropped off without scratches and when i picked him up he was completely tourn up. take responsibility! you run a business that deals with stressed out animals. take more time on our furry babies and less time making excuses. i found other reviews talking about the same thing. this is now public. read more

I've had Remington (or, more accurately, Remington has had me) for 5 years. In that time, I've never boarded him - always having been lucky enough to have a friend or neighbor willing to step in and stay with him or have him over for a few days when I was away. This year, however, I had plans to go away over Christmas and, understandably, had a tough time finding someone who could watch him. Intensely skeptical of boarding him, I started researching and came across Camp Bow Wow, which had newly arrived in Cherry Hill, and was immediately impressed (although not yet sold). After calling and speaking to an associate, my skepticism started to wane - I was impressed by their rigorous requirements for attendance, and then even MORE impressed by their flexibility and understanding when our now infamous 27-inch snowstorm interfered with Remington's interview, just 4 days before I was scheduled to leave. Nervous as any crazy pet mama dropping him off, the staff assured me that he was the cutest pup they'd seen (and, like I do when the vet's office tells me the same thing, I of course believed them) and that he'd do great with the other dogs who were there. (Again, intense skepticism on my part, knowing Rem can be a real jerk sometimes). The tour through the facility was incredibly comforting. Rem had always been anxious in a crate, which of course, made me nervous, but these seemed clean, comfortable and roomy. Again, the staff assured me that there was plenty of out-of-crate time and that they'd keep an eye on him to make sure he was fine. After a 2 hour stay, I picked him up to rave reviews (which I, again, ate up) and a detailed report card. Dropping him off, 4 days later, was easy (I'm speaking logistically, of course, emotionally, it was a completely different story), the staff made me feel completely comfortable and at easy. (Although I admit, I did check in on him on the webcam a couple of times during his stay to ease my guilty mind.) I got a full report on his stay upon picking him up from a counselor who seemed to really know him and care about him. I was shocked (and irrationally proud) to learn that he had enjoyed playing (and nicely!) with the other dogs - an anomoly for my little punk. I would feel absolutely comfortable sending him there again, and would recommend them to anyone who asked. On top of it all, I think it's an incredibly fair price for the quality of care. Hands down, this is the best place we have ever boarded our dog! Vinny (the dog) has gone to this "puppy camp" several times, and without fail comes home happily exhausted from playing with his new found canine friends. Michelle (one of the owners) and her staff are amazing. For example, during our most recent trip (which was unexpectedly long due to the Icelandic volcano's eruption) Michelle took it upon herself to email us with an update on Vinny's time at camp, and included a few photos of him playing with the other dogs and the staff. When we picked him up, they had actually framed two photos for us. Knowing that we are leaving Vinny in such caring, thoughtful hands makes going away that much easier. In fact, Vinny doesn't even look back when we drop him off - he runs straight for the back to the other dogs! Other positives are the long hours they are open, the reasonable price ($40/night to board), and the fact that play time during day care hours is included in the price. Still need more proof? I love Camp Bow Wow!! The staff is extremely friendly and you can tell they really care about our "babies". They are very affectionate with them, often giving them a kiss or hugs. One night my son forgot to pick our dog (Sadie) up and I got home after the camp had closed. Needless to say, I was a wreck. I sent Camp Bow Wow an email on FB and the owner, Heidi, immediately replied back. Not only did she reply to my email, but she gave me her cell number so I could call her!! She assured me my "baby" was fine. She contacted the staff member who had closed and said that not only was Sadie okay, but that the staff member had also fed her and gave her a treat before bed :) Heidi was also able to check her computer at home and see that Sadie was still at camp. Whenever I take Sadie here, she is completely wiped! She is too tired to stick her head out the car window on the ride home and by the time I am pulling out of the driveway, she is already laying down in the back seat. Once home, she doesn't move. I have to literally wake her up to take her out before bed and she is still tired until the next afternoon!! I have a lot of contact with Kyle and he is really nice! He knows every dog there by name. If I am in there and people walk in behind me, he will tell staff members to go get so and so...how he remembers all those dog's names is beyond me!! I am so glad I found this place. If I go away for a weekend or just overnight, I have no problem leaving her here. I trust them more with my Sadie than my own son...lol When she is at Camp Bow Wow, I can relax and enjoy myself and not have to worry b/c I know they are taking care of my Sadie as if she were their own :) If you're looking for a place to treat your baby as good as you do, then do not hesitate to take your dog here. My daughter & I rescued our beautiful chihuahua, Layla, in April. She is 19 months old. She adapted to us & our home pretty quickly, but is so nervous around other people & most dogs. We brought her in to Camp Bow Wow Cherry Hill for an interview. Since then we have been taking her once a week & after only four weeks, I am noticing a change in her behavior. She is now allowing my neighbors to pet her & is interacting with other dogs much better. I brought my shitzu in for the first time this week and was more than happy with the results. The full service included a Heiple allergenic oatmeal shampoo and deep condition, a fabulous puppy cut that preserved a shitzu aesthetic as well as a teeth brushing, nail clipping and for me the most exciting aspect, an anal gland expression. I felt the price was on point and very fair. The place was clean and cheerful, the staff friendly and seemingly knowledgeable. My dog is usually skittish around new people but didn't protest when handed over to the groomer. They said it would take two hours and were very prompt and on time. When I came back to pick up Cleo she was adorable, soft& clean with two sassy pink bows in her hair. Most importantly she didn't seem traumatized or afraid in anyway and gave the groomer a goodbye kiss. If my dog is happy, than so am I. read more

Camp Bow Wow is a disorganized, dirty, dishonest place. I took my dog there for a little over a year. He is a pit bull and VERY sweet & friendly. He loves other dogs & therefore liked being at Bow Wow....However, he caught kennel cough once & had stomach issues on a regular basis due the the filth of that place. He also always came home smelling of urine each time he went. My dog had limps, cuts, bruises, etc and I was always told he plays rough. Then one day I was told he "attacked" another dog. I was showed a 2-second clip of him jumping on another dog as he and most dogs did regularly. They also said this "attack" was unprovoked. My dog is sweet as can be so I did not believe them for a second & they had no video to prove it. I took my dog to a trainer just to be certain & he saw "NO signs of aggression." He also confirmed what I already noticed: Bow Wow takes your money then dismisses certain breeds as they get older. I guess my dog was fine as a puppy but as he grew into a recognizable pit they wanted to get rid of him & decided to do so in a completely dishonest way. I had noticed that some of the other pit bulls 'disappeared' around this same time. Bow Wow boasts having cameras so you can watch your dog but there are several blind spots & the pictures are not clear anyway. I do not trust them & no one should trust them with their dog. There could be anywhere between 5 & 35 dogs confined to a small space with only 1 underpaid person watching them. Walking in, you will always smell urine & your dog will smell when you pick him/her up. Also expect your dog to catch kennel cough and a variety of stomach problems. A few of the staff members are great but the business itself is horrible. DO NOT SUBJECT YOUR DOG TO THIS FILTHY, POORLY RUN, UNJUST PLACE. There are much nicer places around that have trained professionals & actually care about the health & well being of dogs. read more

My dog Hank loved boarding here. I dropped in unexpectedly and found him happy as a clam. I was nervous at first, calling and checking up on him 2-3 times a day. And never once did any staff member seem annoyed to take my phone call! They are very professional and display excellent customer service skills. I just picked up my dog from boarding after a 10 day consecutive stay, and I'm very pleased with the service my pet and I received. I have a 5yr. old APBT who can be very challenging at times due to his overactive personality, and the staff at Camp Bow Wow (Cherry Hill) was very accommodating to my pet's needs. I received a phone call 3 days into his stay, and it was a call expressing concern for his behavior due to anxiety. The problem was solved, and he was a happy camper. KELCEY is the best!!! She's very professional, thorough, and caring. I did read about how some pets come home dirty and yes my pet was dirty, but what can you expect. The dogs are playing indoors/outdoors all day. Same as if you brought your child to the park, nothing soap and water can't fix. Also, I was notified in regards to some dogs contracting upper respiratory conditions, and I thought the notification was very professional and responsible on behalf of Camp Bow Wow. I do recommend that dog owners also have their pets vaccinated with the K-9 flu shot, this can help in combination with the Bordetella vaccine. Overall, I would like to thank Heidi and Kelcey for a great experience. I would recommend creating a rewards program for customers/clients who board frequently. read more

I bring my 8 year old dachshund to camp once a week to socialize him while I am at work. He also stayed a weekend at camp bow wow while my boyfriend and I had a wedding. I must start off the review by saying Maurice is a high maintenance dog- medication, special diet etc. The staff is amazing- so accommodating!! I met some Camp Bow Wow employees at a Vaccination and Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic. I had never heard of Camp Bow Wow before, but was very impressed with the staff members I met I decided to scout it out. I was impressed by the website and the camper cameras where you can watch the pups play. The staff were interacting with the dogs, the place was clean. The first day which is an interview day is FREE. I filled out the application for each of my dogs and updated their Bordetella shots. We set up an interview and went in on our appointed day. The place was better in person. I had a tour of the place, very clean, was greeted by all the staff, and had all my questions answered. The carefully observed my dogs temperaments and personalities. When they saw my medium sized dog wanted to be with her larger sized sister they moved her in with them and monitored to make sure she wasn't overwhelmed by all the bigger dogs. Later that day I was greeted by two very happy and overtired dogs. When we got home they zoomed around the house a few times and then fell sound asleep on the sofa. It was all I could do to get them up to go to their beds at night. We can hardly wait for our next visit. read more

Bodhi is always groomed beautifully even though he comes in looking like a homeless dog almost every time I bring him, and the most important part is that he is happy when I pick him up. He stresses easily but does not show any signs of stress when I pick him up. A++ Thank you! read more
