I've taken my pup to quite a few doggy daycares/boarding and Camp Bow Wow EP is our favorite! First day of daycare is FREE, so why not try it?! They have cameras in every room so you can always see what your pup is up to. They start with a slow introduction with dogs, slowly increasing the number in a room to ensure your dog is okay and not overwhelmed. They have a website for easy online booking or an app as well! I love the app as I waste away my afternoons watching the cameras to see her play! Staff has always been so great and my dog LOVES it here!! When you board, you can specify when and how much your dog eats. You can add on services such as one on one interaction time, snuggle, grooming, nail trim, etc! Total transparency: I haven't gotten any of their "dog salon" services... yet. A doggy daycare seemed like very extravagant extra spending to me until I got a very hyperactive puppy and our Minnesota winter happened. During the summer, spring, and fall she is a-okay because she's walked every single day - but when the walks are shorten because it's 10° we all know what happens. Cue: doggie daycare consideration. They seemed a little understaffed, but hey that's the new normal with COVID. What I can tell you is they average about three dollars an hour with me to take care of my puppy... the same price I'd pay a neighbor kid to walk them - but I get 8-10 HOURS of puppy free time. ... AND puppy is usually completely spent for 10-15 hours after I get her back. She knows exactly what / where Camp BW is and loses her stuff every time we pull up. So - for me five stars. Will update if I get wonky salon services. But for the most part the staff is courteous enough - the hours are right - and it seems to be priced okay. For now I will keep recommending (and budgeting for) CBW for my sanity in our cold MN winter months. read more

We brought our pup here to the Eden Prairie location. We started with the doggie day camp so we could go to a 12:30 pm baseball game. He was so excited. When I picked him up he was exhausted and slept for hours afterward. The next time we brought our pup back it was to spend the night. He was excited to go in and then equally excited to see us. He seemed to have played quite a bit because he slept many hours afterward. I recommend this establishment. read more

We have done puppy daycare here. Murphy LOVES attending, basically dragging me inside when he sees where we are. They treat your dog like a 'camper' which is so adorable - including a report card, leashes kept on a wall with their name, and personalized care for each dog. read more

A great doggie daycare spot for all sizes. It's a smaller facility but still lots of room for dogs to run indoors and outdoors! Doggie cams are available to watch dogs play and interact throughout the day. Camp Bow Bow offers a good value for 1 day of daycamp, dog owners can drop off as early as 6:30am during the week or 7:30am on weekends and then pick up by 7p for one flat fee. Other places give X hours for one price and anything over is X per hour. If you opt to use their boarding, daycamp is included! Located next to Mission Animal Hospital - so if you ever need anything or need to make a regular /annual vet visit and then want your pup to play - this combo makes it easy to do. Reason for a 4 star: Camp staff could continue to improve keeping their head on a swivel to help break up bad doggie behavior or catch potty accidents quicker. read more

Camo Bow Wow has definitely exceeded my expectations. I originally had my appointment scheduled for last week for a grooming. I needed to cancel and change my appointment due to our puppy being sick. Sammy, the groomer, was very accommodating. She quickly got my appointment rescheduled with no hesitation. She also did a fantastic job with Flynn's first grooming. She listened to how we wanted him to look and definitely followed through. We will definitely be booking an appointment again! read more

We used to board our pup at a different Camp Bow Wow and were always impressed so when we moved we decided to try to Eden Prairie location because they seemed to have many of the services we were looking for, including boarding, daycare, grooming and training. The training fell through (the trainer either quit or left) shortly after we paid in full for training. When a new trainer came on, they offered to pick up on the training but by then we had found another trainer. We weren't offered a credit or refund, which honestly didn't bother me. I was happy to support there small business. Then, our pup contracted kennel cough during a stay there which ended up turning into pneumonia resulting in an $8,000 hospitalization. It was clear when I picked him up that he had become ill and I feel that if they had been a bit more attentive, things may not have escalated to the degree they did. Still, I understand that things happen and they were very kind and concerned, checking in as to how Yeti was doing throughout his hospital stay. We continue to utilize their services, however one thing became quite clear: The staff is not all on the same page. They seem to have quite high turnover which I feel says a lot about a business. Additionally, pricing was never consistent for anything, from boarding to grooming. Sometimes overnight stays were a flat fee; other times we were charged for additional hours if he was there more than 24 hours. He always had a bath at the end of his stay and they were usually around $60. After one of his last baths, he contracted a skin infection, requiring a vets visit and antibiotics, from not being dried thoroughly enough. Again, I understood, so when we boarded him most recently I asked them to please make sure he was extra dry after his bath. Upon his pick up not only was he wet and matted, they had charged $120 (more than double the "$44 for dogs $51+ lbs" on their current price list pictured below!). I am giving them two stars because most of the staff there is great, but when I approached the owner with my concerns we were just "dismissed" as clients. I don't post negative reviews often, but getting cancelled for asking for clarification and consistency was kind of the last straw. The owner will undoubtedly respond to this review and refute my statements, which are true and certainly not inclusive of every experience (good and bad) that we had there. Although, her default response to negative reviews seems to be to simply say she doesn't see us in the system. Either way, I wish everyone using Camp Bow Wow a good experience- we had many and it's unfortunate the owner wasn't open to constructive feedback. read more

Our dog LOVES Camp Bow Wow! This new facility is so nice and the Camper cameras are fun to check in throughout the day. Super friendly staff gives her lots of pets and attention. She gets exercise and socialization and comes home one happy tired pup! The add ons, like a bath, are such a convenient service and she smells great!
