Keira is the best animal groomer in the world! I have a Sheltie who has two coats of hair, and that's way too much for me to manage on my own. When I previously brought my dog Mia to my old groomers she would wince and cry as we walked in the door of establishment. Now we have been seeing Keira for the past six months, monthly and Mia is always happy to walk in and most excited to see me when she is done. When I get her she not only looks incrediable beautiful, she smells amazing. My story gets better as I took in a cat recently that was full of mats and dander and over all pretty dirty. Her name is Clementine and she was filled with anxiety. I knew I needed to get her cleaned but because of her emotional state I thought I would have to have her sedated at the vet. When I mentioned this to Keria she encouraged me to bring Clem into her at Woof Centeal. I did, and not only is Clementine's coat restored her spirit is as well. MADE MY DOGS NAILS BLEED. We have been going here for years, we come back because the cuts are usually okay. We took our dog to get groomed and later took him for a walk, multiple of his nails bled, we went back to woof central and the groomer denied ever doing this, the worker said it was the groomers last groom of the day so she was probably in a rush. My dog Greta is a very active blue heeler mix and I was a bit nervous dropping her off as she is so hyper and I have never used a daycare/boarding facility before. To my relief she passed with no concerns so we randomly book her here for daycare as we have no other dogs at this time and she LOVES burning through her never-ending energy with dogs. We have used Woof Central once for a 3 day weekend away. Greta was able to spend the days in daycare playing to her hearts content and then crashing in her own kennel run with her own bed to reenergize for the next days nonstop play. You provide your dog's own bed and food. Woof Central provides you with the comfort of knowing your pooch is in safe and caring hands. When you pick up your dog they have an extremely organized system where you pick up your dog's belongings from individual bins while they fetch your friend. Your dog leaves tired from all of the good times they had and you leave with a report card detailing his/her time while you were away. They also offer dog obedience training classes and grooming. When I drop Greta off for the day for day care I often have the staff trim her nails. I highly recommend giving their free trial day a go. I brought in 2 small dogs that we are pet sitting for our friends who are out of the country for full-service grooming after making reservations 10 days before our appointment. This was my first visit here so they requested vaccine documents that I emailed prior to our visit. When we arrived, the girl at the front desk did not greet me except to ask the names of our dogs. She didn't say anything for a few minutes while she browsed her PC seemingly confused. I asked if there was a problem, but she said no, "I need to talk to someone", then walked away. She came back after a few minutes and said that one of the 3 vaccines was out of date, so she tried to reach the vet but said she was disconnected. She left again and said she had to speak with Don, presumably the owner or manager, who came out and handled the issue perfectly by asking his 2 groomers if they were comfortable working on the dogs without an updated vaccine, and they both said yes, and apologized for not catching it in the vaccine report. I was told the dogs would be ready in about 2 1/2 hours, but I was called 5 hours later! The dogs were nicely groomed, except one had some unevenness and stray hairs visible on the face, but overall, I'd give them high marks for being flexible and pleasant to deal with. read more

This past month I have noticed a change in staff and love for what the employees provided. I recently found out that many of my dogs favorite employees have left, and the rest of the staff have been looking to leave, this concerns me as a long time customer. I can tell there is a shift between the employees doing what they love, and just going to work because it is a job. The business owners seem unfazed by the shift in their employees, and seem to only concerned with making money. Really disappointing experience. My dog's regular daycare is closing for a few days in March, so I hoping to find a great back up in Woof Central. My dog has been going to daycare and three major metro dog parks (Minnehaha, airport and Bloomington) since forever, with absolutely no problems whatsoever. She is a small, very well socialized, happy, silly Rottweiler who loves to romp and play with kids and other dogs. So you can imagine my shock when WC called me to come get her on her trial run day. They reported that she was "too aggressive". Like, wtf? I got the impression they spent all of five minutes with her and kenneled her for the rest of the day, because when we got home, she was desperately thirsty and had to pee really bad. Don't think they know much about pack behaviors or dog behavior in general. Definitely would not recommend for daycare. Edit to respond to Don, the owner. Obviously I understand that my dog didn't pass your behavior assessment, I'm saying your staff doesn't know how to effectively asses. The man that came to get her from the from front desk just walked up and grabbed her. Literally reached down and grabbed her leash. Who does that to a brand new dog they've never met?!? She cowered and went with him and I knew then and there it wasn't going to work, but I had to go. I regret every minute she spent there and advise others do research carefully. read more

Our little pup could not love Woof Central anymore! He literally pulls my arm off when he realizes where we are and doesn't even give me a second glance when they take him into the play area. The staff are so wonderful at Woof Central. Our first trip we stopped in and received a tour of the facility so we could see just where the puppies get to play and hang out. They have more active rooms and a calm room and depending on your dog's level of energy and play, they are allowed into different rooms. They also explained to me that for a dog's first time there, they put them in a smaller room, and then allow the regulars to come up and sniff and say hi through a fence area just to make sure your dog does well with the other dogs. The play areas are always supervised and they also post pictures to facebook (so fun to check during my lunch break!) The prices are beyond reasonable when you realize just how tired your doggie is when you bring him home! We bought a pack of full day daycare and take our dog once a week or so. He hasn't been able to go for the last week due to a surgery, and he has managed to tear up one doggie bed and two rugs. Looks like it's just about time to go play with his friends at Woof Central! read more

I just love this place! We just brought home a sheepadoodle puppy this last summer and was nervous about that "first boarding experience". Woof Central has been awesome! They have always been accommodating and scheduling that first visit was a breeze. The staff is amazing and just makes things easy to schedule, pay, etc. You can schedule day visits/play online. I've scheduled several of my visits the night before and they are a lifesaver for me! My pup absolutely loves it there. She starts whining as we pull into the parking lot! We have been going to Woof Central for 2 years now and we have nothing but great things to say about them. Previous to woof we had taken our Griffey to another local doggie daycare and he was kicked out for being too friendly (licking other dogs in the face and not understanding signs of when to stop) he was attacked 3 times and sent to the vet. They kicked him out for being a liability. Since moving to Woof Central we have not had any issues! They have training experience and was able to work with him so that he stopped the behavior.
