MMy 18 year old son needed a sports physical for college. He completed the medical questionnaire honestly so when asked if he ever smoked marijuana or drank alcohol, he answered "Yes". He was told by Tawana Pringle that she had never smoked marijuana and thought it was a gateway drug. As an athlete, my son has done extensive research about marijuana. So they had a brief, cordial banter about marijuana. She then proceeded to tell him that she could not give him a physical. When he got home and told me what happened I tried to call to speak with her but was told Piedmont QuickCare is not affiliated with Walgreens so they can't provide me with a phone #. I went there and spoke with Tawana and was told that she called the "higher ups" and they told her that shd could deny him a physical. She handed me a brochure to call and complain to customer service, which I did. Today, in the mail, I received a BILL for a sports physical. My insurance company was billed for a physical that was never performed! I am LIVID! I do not recommend Piedmont QuickCare to ANYONE!

A uti is a common issue that is completely normal for both men and women but this man made me feel as tho I was just dirty and this is completely unprofessional. The doctor I saw was professional, nice and efficient, but the male medical assistant is a prime example of why people do not want men working in healthcare. They are unprofessional, immature and lack the common sense to know how to act in the presence of a patient. They still charged me $50 for doing basically nothing. When I got to the ER (after waiting there for hours), they did not even stitch me up and used skin glue instead to close the wound. The ER expressed frustration for me, saying that urgent care easily could have done that for me. So, I am pretty upset with my experience here and will not be back.

Then when she was finished, she summoned me from the waiting room and said she'll ask the doctor if I can be seen. I asked her to let him know I arrived 6 minutes prior and hoped for a little flexibility. She scoffed at this as if I hadn't arrived at 6:10pm instead of 6:16pm. Probably 6:17 by the time she spoke to the doctor. After this, she returned and seemed to take pleasure in the fact that the Doctor wouldn't see me. Zero flexibility or understanding despite it never being a problem to make a patient wait for extended periods when they have an appointment. Check the patients experiences on G oogle reviews and you'll see what I'm talking about. Not cool. Won't ever be back.

The patient coordinator was able to get me in today Thursday . That's what I'm talking about . The front receptionist was nice . The person who took my vitals was sweet . The doctor addressed all of my concerns and got me schedule to do some test and labs . Highly recommend
