The food is AMAZING, we love all the cooks, and they feed us very well all weekend! My favorite part was the last day of camp when they did a bbq and the parents came for pick up. The staff is always very enthusiastic and excited to share their love for camp surf! I've met some pretty awesome people, people from Spain and Australia and all over the states! The activities are always fun! Bay day will always be the best with waterman! I plan on continuing to come every year! Can't wait for next year!

I was extremely nervous about the food situation before I arrived, but Joe the chef was excellent and accommodated a wide variety of allergies and preferences! It really exceeded my expectations. We show up at the designated time to get the Jersey before the first practice (today) and the Jersey has been taken out of the bag and given to another child. No replacement, just too bad and you'll get it next week. A couple other children in the second group experienced this too. So our children suffer because the first game group parents ordered the wrong size and the owner gave our child's jersey away. Not a great start! Unacceptable!

Unfortunately it seems they weren't ready as a business and very easily gave up on all these girls and the program not even a year into it. They were unorganized and the communication along the whole way was just bad. During these times of bad communication and lack of attention to detail we decided to let it go as it's a new program. Things take time to perfect and get right. Correct?..... Not to them apparently it was easier to just cancel the program and let all these kids and staff down without any sort of communication. Just one day out of the blue putting it on the coaches to relay the terrible news that ownership and management made. Slayden couldn't even show up to inform us. He didn't even want us to come to the coaches with problems only to him. Yet he couldn't even show up to tell us face to face. Apparently they didn't want to handle the finances?? Not only did we waste nearly a 1000 dollars on a uniform as well as our monthly tuition and all the other costs. But our girls who worked hard all year didn't even get a end of the year banquet like even the cheapest pop Warner teams get. The company and managers are a joke. I would honestly think twice before bringing your kids here.

It's a nice area to go to and generally pretty quiet area as long as you don't go into the channel where the motor boats go, rentals are great but it's soooo much nicer and cheaper to take a kayaking or SUP class for the semester if you have the time on the weekends I think it's only about $40 for the class and the staff are always so nice and helpful. I've met so many amazing people and it's so much more fun to go out as a group :)

You could throw a rock and hit Bud Kearns. Anyway, The Director, Rus is great. The kids adore him and respect and enjoy his whole staff. There are a lot of field trips, at least one each week. Oh, and a ton of swimming. The kids get a ton of fresh air, sunshine and exercise. They also get a healthy amount of free time for just chilling out and enjoying summer... playing games, crafts, ball games, hanging out with friends.

Even adding money to the snack shack card is easy. I've also been put on the wait list a few times and had no problem with that proecss. On Thursdays, there's limited parking and they literally wait at the sidewalk helping get the kids in quickly so you don't get a ticket. The people here are a total class act and really seem to love what they do. My kids come home FILTHY and raving about their teachers: Puddles, Butterfly, Scooby, Walrus, Ant to name a few that I can remember this week :) They also love the archery, the arts and crafts, and of course, the snack shack. Newt, I beleive runs the place. He greets the kids with such enthusiasm and respect and kindness. We even had an incident with our older kid last year and received a phone call explaining the situation with my kiddo right there. He was firm, authoratative, explained what needed to be done next time, but completely appropriate and at the same time reassuring to my son that they were on the same team and in the end, all was good. Did my son cry? Yes. He also clearly got the point, has not made the same mistake, and still loves going to Camp. It was handled perfectly and I really appreciated it. I've seen a handful of comments from several years back with bad reviews about customer service. This was before my time, but I can say those reviews feel foreign to the experience I've had here for now 2 summers. Can't recommend this place enough.

I feel it's common sense to open the garage gate when you see may people inside.

While the instructors seemed competent, they were clearly overwhelmed--far too many students per coach, which severely limited individual support unless you paid for private sessions. However, the most troubling experience was financial. I was assured by the owner that the charges for three months (over $300) would be refunded once the Regional Center--whom I was working with--paid for my daughter's sessions. I agreed to pay upfront in good faith, fully expecting the refund once the third party handled the cost. After the Regional Center completed payment, the refund never came. I reached out multiple times over the course of a year, only to receive vague excuses about "budget issues." Eventually, it became clear that the owner had no intention of returning the money. This wasn't a delay--it was a blatant refusal. Holding onto funds that were supposed to be reimbursed feels unethical at best, fraudulent at worst. I cannot in good conscience recommend this gym to any family.
