They also sell accessories like affordable jewelry from local artisans, unique scarves, shoes/boots/sandals and even an assortment of wonderful hand creams and candles that smell so good! I had to buy a pitchuli scented candle because it reminded me of my youth and I used up the one I bought two years ago. Like any store, some of the clothing works for me and some doesn't. We all have to know our own bodies and what fits best. What I really like about Adorn is that they have a variety of styles - they know women's bodies come in a variety of shapes and we can't all wear the same styles! In addition to cloths, they have shoes, sandals, hats, jewelry, candles, soaps & lotions and even a few handbags. Inventory is always changing and at the end of every season, they have fantastic sales, like 50% off. Because I've had good experiences, when I see an Adorn boutique in any of the Portland neighborhoods, I stop in.

I generally don't enjoy trying on clothes, but they really made it enjoyable. They gave me honest opinions on some looks, unlike most places that try to sell you on every single thing; they were focused on what worked best for me. Loved my time with these two & the pieces I left with. I know I'll wear everything, they won't just sit in my closet because I feel really comfortable & know how to style them. Unlike all those snooty overpriced "local pdx" places in downtown, Donna & Toots has nice clothes at reasonable prices... But wait, there's more. When I tried on a shirt that didn't fit quite right, Suzanne said, Oh, that's one of ours, I can make it for you. Huhwha? For the same price as off-the-rack, Suzanne helped me pick my favorite pretty fabric, shiny buttons, and made an adjustment so the shirt fits just right. And, she emailed me when it was ready!
