My child came out of her shell at Camp Ocean Pines. After years of exposure to bullies she found a place where she can joyfully be herself. The first summer was filled with anticipation but went great. The last two summers she has spent the whole year excited to get back. it's a truly magical place.

The staff and crew are fantastic! Rick did a great job answering all our questions and easy to work with! My daughter had her wedding there and it was so amazing for all her friends and cousins to be together for the wedding, would highly recommend this beautiful property for weddings or family reunions

A life-changing experience for my 12 yo son. Camp Ocean Pines gave my son such a fantastic experience he will cherish for the rest of his life. We had not even left the camp, and he was already planning his return for next year. So SO thankful for this camp and the many unique opportunities that give the kids an epic summer camp vacation. I cannot wait to take him back year after year until he becomes a counselor and can give back to this wonderful camp. He absolutely loved every minute of it.

I just spent 3 days at their annual queer camp and I have to say this is the most healing place. Dealing with stage 4 cancer myself, helping my son with his medical concerns, spending time with some of my favorite people. And the counselors are amazing. Whether you are 6 or 20 or 60, they treat you the same. It really is magical. And they have multiple camps as well as retreats. Oh! And the food is so good!! All meals included :)

This camp has been life hanging for my son who had the best week ever. The councilors are incredibly caring and competent. The atmosphere is beautiful and there is always something fun to do. Highly recommend it!

The Sierra Club rented this place for a weekend outing. The clubhouse has an amazing ocean view that is great for relaxing and watching the sunset, and the cabins, being set back in the woods, have that secluded feel. The cabins have 5 bunks to sleep 10, but thankfully on this trip they weren't that full. The mattress in my bunk was actually pretty comfy, the cabin was clean, and the place was well insulated because with just the little space heater left on overnight the cabin got too warm. Our food was catered by the OP staff and it was very tasty. All meals were served in the clubhouse. Breakfast and dinner were pretty elaborate for 'camping', lunch was a pack your own sandwich buffet. My only gripe was that the clubhouse, which serves as dining hall and entertainment room, got very loud at times. It would have been helpful if the lounge area were separated from the dining area. Not everyone wants to listen to karaoke, a movie and music playing in the dining room, all at the same time, while dining.

Ask the Community - Camp Ocean Pines

Is there cell service there? Ik it sounds crazy but I wanna let my family know whether or not I'll be able to contact them while I'm there.

It is a camp, so not great cell service. But that is not what you're there for, right? Family, forest, ocean view! Verizon is better than others, but if you're at the right place and stand in your tippy toes, angle your head just so, and stick… Read more

Check In was easy; luckily I booked a room right across from Lounge/Restaurant. Parking easy. I paid for breakfast to be included In our stay and wish I would have not done that. The breakfast was a little disappointing but did the job. The room was very cute, a little stuffy but we didn't stay In the room much. I would recommend new mattresses as the springs would pop when you sat or laid down on the bed. If you do stay here opt for the top floor or maybe you'll get lucky and not have to adjust to the people above you for us they sounded like they were bowling. The lounge does offer the restaurant menu and I recommend that over breakfast. We visited the lounge on a Saturday night and it got a little busy, the one man band was nice. We had their Kale Salad & bruschetta with some margaritas. The margaritas were not balanced well with the mix and tequila. Food/appetizer were good which is why the breakfast buffet was a disappointment.

Our wedding there was absolutely magical, and the staff made us feel deeply cared for from beginning to end. I understand there has recently been controversy surrounding an interaction involving an employee, and I completely agree that people should be treated respectfully and professionally. But I also think it's important to remember that one poor decision by one young employee should not define an entire business filled with hardworking people who have poured their hearts into creating something truly beautiful. Small businesses are made up of humans. Humans make mistakes. Accountability matters, but so does perspective, grace, and common sense. Before joining efforts to destroy a business online, I think it's worth asking ourselves: if one employee at your own workplace made a mistake, would you want years of hard work and hundreds of livelihoods and memories erased because of it? Ocean Point Ranch has been nothing but wonderful in my experience, and I will always have love for this place and the people behind it.

We had stayed here before and were really looking forward to the same peaceful experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case this time. When we arrived, there was a wedding set up about 20 feet from our room. The music was extremely loud, and we were told it would continue until 10pm. The huge easy up stayed all weekend. It blocked our entire view of anything from our hotel window. That sucked, especially considering we chose this room for its privacy and quiet. We brought this up to the front desk, and while the staff member was polite(ish), he only offered a 7% discount, which felt pretty dismissive given the situation.  It's really disappointing because we know this hotel can offer a great experience, we've stayed before. But this time, it felt like they didn't care about the guests because the wedding was going to bring in more money. If you're considering staying here for a quiet getaway, I'd strongly recommend confirming there are no events happening near your room. We suggest staying at White Water or El Colibri instead!

It is a historic Victorian house with an abundance of character and old world style. Each room is unique and there are charming little details everywhere you look. We felt so welcome by the lovely garden and the wide porch was calling my name. It just seemed to say "chill for a minute", which I did. The house has a very subtle sweet woody smell that adds a soothing touch to the interior atmosphere. I found it to be instantly relaxing. Our rooms were absolutely beautiful, clean, and bright. The bed was so very comfortable that I slept as though I was at my grandparents house, and feeling completely cared for. Reading the journals with the notes from past visitors was such a delight and It adds to the warmth and comfort that this house lends to those who pass through. Breakfast was way better than expected! It wasn't just coffee and a muffin. They gave us a variety of options with high quality ingredients, and the coffee was smooth and full bodied. We left satisfied, rested, and ready for our next adventure. I cannot recommend them more.

The property features three distinct buildings: The Squibb House - a beautifully preserved historic inn. The Black Barn - also an inn, and a recreated version of the original barn that stood here in the late 1800s. The Shop - a treasure trove of custom, American-made furnishings crafted by Amish artisans. We've stayed in the Black Barn on three separate occasions and I've completely fallen for the Oak Room. Located on the second floor, it's spacious and serene. Features a large walk-in shower, handmade furniture, a cozy fireplace, private balcony, window seat perfect for afternoon naps or reading, and writing desk. Mornings begin with a delicious breakfast buffet, and guests have 24/7 access to a common area stocked with treats and beverages. Free WiFi and parking are included. With only ten rooms between the two buildings it's an intimate stay. Plus, it's just a three minute drive to Moonstone Beach. I'm in my 40s but spiritually about 60, ready to retire, move into a 55+ community, and spend my days exploring bed & breakfasts, lighthouses, beaches, and forests. We're always the youngest at the breakfast table and I love it. If you're drawn to slow mornings, peaceful surroundings, and old-world charm, this is it. Thank you for having us and we always look forward to coming back.
