This fabulous place is in the Olympic Forrest. Easy to get to and so peaceful and serene.
I had my first adventure there about 36 years ago when I was a Girl Scout Leader and also worked for the local council. A fond memory, including the fact that our cabin was open air and it snowed. It was a very cold overnight.
It is one of several Girl Scouts of Western Washington camp properties. And the favorite for most girls, volunteers, and staff, current and former.
I held a retreat today with my staff and it was as beautiful and welcoming as ever. And the ride to and from was breathtaking. read more
