I cannot say enough good things about CCS and all who work there. Our daughter, Kate, attended fulltime daycare from the time she was 8 months old until recently we moved out of state. Bottom line: the teachers and administrators love the kids as if they were their own. As a first time mom, nothing is harder than dropping off your baby to return to work but CCS assured me I could call and check on her to help alleviate my anxiousness. Kate quickly settled into the routine and thrived in the environment. Infant care is very customized the specific needs of each child (feeding/diapering/sleep) and in the toddler room a bit more structure develops (though still very flexible). The teachers communicate via daily reports home, a private app, and phone calls/emails as needed. Throughout the covid shutdown, we have been so impressed with how the school navigated the ever-changing landscape. They sent frequent and thorough emails explaining how they were approaching the guidelines from the county/state/federal governments and outlined their decision making process, contingency plans, health and safety protocol, and timelines. When they were able to reopen daycare, we gladly sent our daughter back and were very impressed with the diligent steps they took to ensure a safe experience for all. Truly one of the worst parts about moving was having to leave CCS, we are so blessed to have had them care for our daughter and would unequivocally recommend them as the best possible daycare in the area. read more

My daughter started attending CCS since third grade because we were not happy with our public school. At CCS, she has been thriving for the last few years. Unlike the public school system, they offer so many opportunities for the elementary school kids to do different things such as joining the sports teams with the Jr high school and participating in band. There are fair amount of homework and projects, which allow the kids to be ready for middle school and high school. The administrators and teachers have been really wonderful and kind. The athletic director is encouraging and supportive to all the athletes on campus. The new music/band teacher has been an amazing new addition to the school. If you are considering a private school for your kid, I would definitely recommend this school! read more

This is for the day care/preschool. Our kiddo started at 6 months in the infant class with Ms Tsega and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is by far one of the best humans I have ever met and I would trust her with my children any day. Kiddo attended until he was 2.5 when we moved out of state. While communication is not CCS's strong suit, I knew my child was VERY LOVED and VERY CARED for. I wish they were better about sharing about the child's day and better communicated with parents but all of the staff is very friendly when they do communicate with you. We cherish the love and care the teachers invested in our 3 children while attending Campbell Christian Schools. It made us feel so confident to see that our kids received physical and emotional support from the staff daily. Our family loved being part of CCS! The teachers are dedicated and caring, and they create a warm, nurturing environment where our daughter felt supported academically, emotionally and spiritually. We were impressed by the strong curriculum and the emphasis on Christian values. Moving to the area from out of state, we were immediately struck by the active role teachers and administrators took in making sure our daughter felt welcome and acclimated to her new learning environment. They also offer a variety of extracurricular activities that introduced our child to new opportunities and the chance to try out new sports. Their smaller size (as compared to a large public school) allowed for our daughter to be prioritized in the classroom, on the soccer field, and basketball/volleyball courts. My daughter Kenz left another Christian school In the Bay Area in March 2022 at that time Kenz was 3.5 still having accidents only at school and not thriving. She started attending CCS in April 2022 she had accidents the first day and then after that none. Ms Linda and Ms. Carmen have the most sweetest spirits and loving disciplinary approaches. Kenz was very blessed this year that she got to have them for jr. Pre K again . She has grown so much developmentally and physically. In my experience, Campbell Christian is an outstanding school. I have taught in several schools in my career, but never in a school that had so much to offer to students and families. Students receive more than an excellent education. They are also gifted with a safe and loving environment. Children are encouraged to have creative and critical thinking experiences, while developing problem-solving skills. Parents and students may not even recognize (for many years) all of the handiwork that is generously laid out for students. If I had school-aged children they would be at this school. Teachers partner with parents by listening and brainstorming with them. Teachers may suggest golden nuggets to help parents support and teach their own children. Parents who partner with the teachers create bonds and blessings for years to come. My son is almost three and he has been at Campbell Christian school since he was five months old. He started in the infant room, then went to the toddler room, and then two different preschool rooms. Overall we have had a really positive experience. As a new mom I was so nervous to leave my baby with anyone, but Maggie (recently retired) and Mia always made me feel comfortable, and my son loved them too. Every single day when I'd pick him up he would be in Mia's arms being rocked. He got a lot of attention there!! I have LOVED our experience in the preschool rooms! My son first started with Miss Stephanie and miss Rachel, and they are awesome! My son quickly fell in love with them - I loved the communication from them, they would always tell me details about my sons day at pick up, they do so many fun little projects and crafts and parties too. Rachel has been incredible and even babysits for me in my home on the weekends. Even though my son is not in her class anymore, I still hear updates form her about how his day went, who he she sees him playing on the playground with, etc. Now, my son is almost 3 and is in Miss Blanca's room. I didn't think that I could love a preschool teacher as much as I did miss Stephanie and miss Rachel but Miss Blanca proved me wrong. She has been excellent!!!!! My son comes home every day and shares songs he's learned, bible stories, and crafts! She's been awesome with communication and has even been supportive with helping me with some things my son has been going through. I love that the class size is so small. We have two teachers in the room with about 8 kids. The attention he gets is great. The facilities at CCS are clean and well kept. They are constantly updating and recently added a sand box, which my son loves. The director, Kathy and assistant director, Erin at CCS are also very responsive. I have had questions as well as concerns along the way, and they are always quick to talk with me about problem solving or looking for solutions. I highly recommend CCS! read more

My two boys have attended Campbell Christian for the past three years and we have absolutely loved our experience. We have been apart of the Infant/Toddler/Pre-K and Kindergarten programs and were impressed with the genuine interest each teacher demonstrated in all the children in their classes. At pickup my children always had nothing but great feedback on how much they enjoyed their day and excitement for what they were learning. Took me a little while to write this review but still not late. My daughter graduated 8th grade with honors at CCS. Dr. Stewart the superintendent, is a humble informative man of God. Under his leadership and help of wonderful volunteers and teachers, this school is place that your child will not only learn academics but gain self confidence. Bullying is taken very serious and there is no room for it. Its like you have a family raising your child, and you feel safe and happy to leave your kid there. I loved the musical program and Mrs. Ahrons and how dedicated she was to that program and how she taught these kids with love and joy. This rating is for the school's inflexibility. My daughter is vegetarian and I would've sent her food (nut free etc.) however, they won't allow her to bring food from home which is okay. But they cook at school and she would have to eat meat with the other kids. They were not even ready to give her vegetarian daily. The preschool director said "we cannot do that. other kids would ask why she is eating different food" That's the time to educate the kids that there are people with other dietary preferences and that's ok. My daughter knows that since the age of 2 that some people eat chicken and that she doesn't. She's been taught everyday to respect others view but not eat that food. She's never said to another child "why do you eat chicken or it's eww.. because of the way we address it" Being in the middle of Silicon Valley, I have toured 80 plus schools (yes, I am that mom..) and not a single school had this policy. There are ample number of vegetarians and vegans in this locality. Also they said, we won't feed her eggs because she's allergic but she has to eat chicken and fish if she's not allergic. Well, apart from everything we don't know if she's allergic to fish and chicken because she's never had it. Another point, We are actually spiritual and don't follow any particular religion but she's been learning about Jainism, Catholicism etc. at her previous daycare and now at her school. We feel she's blessed to grow up learning everything and can respect everyone ! When the director at this school mentioned she will be learning about Christianity or praying everyday, I had no issue at all. Needless to say, my daughter will not be going to their summer program. Education is not about learning phonics and maths, and chanting from the biit's about overall development of a child so they grow up to be good human beings and understand and respect that others are different. That's what we are looking for. Update April 25, 2019 Thanks to the school's leadership for taking this seriously and now allowing the vegetarian and vegan children to bring their own food. While we have chosen another place for the summer, I am glad that they will be able to serve other families with their good education and flexibility. read more

I had the pleasure of attending the Halloween Harvest Festival with my sister & my nephews whom are students of this academy. If we lived closer, I would definitely enroll my son. My 17 month old has been attending CCS since he was 3.5 months old. He started in the infant room and is now in the toddler room. To say those teachers are angels is a big understatement. The care, compassion, patience and education that my son has received is top notch. As my husband and I both have extremely busy jobs, it was very important to us to find a child care facility where we felt our child was safe, well cared for and where he would thrive. He has done that and so much more. If we can't be with our son everyday, there is no place else we would rather he be. Other schools should strive to be as amazing as CCS. On another note, I myself attended CCS from preschool to 6th grade. Many of the teachers I had are still there today. I received a phenomenal education and attribute much of my success today to the strong foundation that was built at CCS. read more

It is a very nice place to start your child with school. I can vouch for the preschool with first hand experience. They make sure that the child eases into his life as a school going kid for years to come, as opposed to some schools that rush the child into learning. The atmosphere is fun and friendly, all the children are always happy and smiling. They do a lot of fun projects, and crafts, they serve good lunch on campus that is included in the fees. Campbell Christian Schools have an absolutely amazing staff and faculty. With Dr. Shawn Stuart at the helm of these schools, they have direction, warmth and incredible purpose. The faculty and the staff rally together like a family to teach your child and ensure that your child reaches their full learning potential. No child falls between the cracks and gets left behind, and they greet your child and family every single morning with a smile at the drop off line or in the classroom, no matter how their morning or day started. They know every student's name and family member. Their curriculum in their new junior high school had started with some of the usual growth pains, but has rounded into an unbelievably challenging and preparatory program for the kids to prepare for even the most challenging of high schools by it's third year of being open. The faith based education here is not just taught, but the school practices what they teach. It doesn't matter what "flavor" of christianity you are, or where you come from, you are welcomed with open arms and taught through the teachings and in the spirit of Christ our Lord. The faculty holds some of the best, brightest and most invested teaching staff I have seen across the board among other private schools and public. Their recruiting of faculty members for their junior high school has been very focused and decisive with very good results, especially as they entered into this year with 8th graders. The new faculty hold promise, and the kids attention which is difficult to do with 13 and 14 year olds. If you have the opportunity to have your child learn, from this positive, bright, nurturing, and inventive group of teachers and staff, I would not pass it up. I have children now in both of their schools. One in Elementary and one in Junior High. My child in the Elementary school grew an entire grade level in reading comprehension the first and second year at CCS. My Middle Schooler has grown to love faith, music, MATH, and science. A love for math, after coming into CCS as an average math student, and afraid of the subject. The school grew my child's knowledge and taught my child not to be afraid but how to enjoy math. Now my child is thriving through the Algebra course happy with the challenges it brings. I could not be more pleased with the direction the school is headed and how they are developing. I look forward to see how they grow and mature in the years ahead. I know some of where they are headed with their future plans for staff, and faculty and believe they are definitely headed in the right direction and they are enthused about where they are going as a team. I am so glad that we have the chance to grow with them. I cannot imagine going back to having a principal who avoids emails or parents who have questions. It is wonderful to have a Superintendent who responds same day and takes any and all of your concerns or questions regarding your child's development to heart. Bravo CCS! Go EAGLES!!!!!!!!! My twin fifteen month old boys have been attending Campbell Christian for a few weeks now and they are thriving there. I did a lot of research and toured other local daycares and Campbell Christian was way above and beyond any other school I found. I wanted in so badly that I scrambled for care until they had availability! We transitioned the boys by coming to the classroom for playdates before they actually started attending the toddler room for full days. They immediately took to the teachers and loved the play space. I attended the school's open house this week and the preschool director, Kathy, gave such a heart warming presentation. We feel like part of a huge, loving family here. I know that each teacher, and even the supporting staff members, truly care about the well being of my boys. Some things that made CC stand out to me: 1- The actual space/classrooms. The toddler classroom (and all other classrooms, for that matter) are sizable with great toys. They have a large table with seat cutouts so all the toddlers can eat their meals together. The outdoor play space is shaded and the ground is soft track material. 2- The teachers. From my first day of meeting the teachers they were knowledgeable, friendly, and confident. They are all CPR certified, know how to administer an epi pen (which is important for us since we have a little one with food allergies), plans for all emergencies, and truly care for the children. 3- The transition plan. They have a very clearly spelled out plan for toddlers to transition to the next classroom. The kids make visits to the next classroom up starting the week before they transfer so they can get used to the new teachers and new environment. No other schools I visited had plans like this. That shows care! I visited the 2-3s classroom last week and they have a monthly calendar spelling out the letters and colors they will work on every week, and activities they will participate in. They also start providing food at age 2, can't wait to not have to pack lunches every day! Campbell Christian works with parents in a major way to potty train. Honestly, it seems that they take on the bulk of the work as long as you agree to do your part at home too, what a deal.... 4- Structure. Most other schools I toured allowed the toddlers to sleep and eat on demand, which is fine for some families, but I think my boys thrive on structure. The toddlers have a schedule for eating and naps, which I love. They know what to expect every day which I have read in many books is great for little ones. My boys had never slept anywhere but their cribs before, which I thought might be a challenge as the toddlers sleep on mats on the floor, but they did great with guidance from Ms. Stephanie!! They take great naps every day. 5- Safety/procedural guidelines. This might sound silly, and be annoying to some, but Campbell Christian has a handbook that spells out all expectations of the kids and the parents. They make sure parents sign the kids in and out, this is very important to them, and it's important to me that they take safety so seriously!! They have monthly fire drills, check IDs for every new person that picks up the children (and randomly check IDs of even the parents). This is a nut free environment, which again, is great for us. 6- Communication. I have sent multiple emails to office staff and they are extremely responsive. When the boys first started full days I called multiple times the first few days and got great details on how they were doing. I received a note from a teacher in their lunch box asking me to sign the boys out on the correct lines (I had been doing it wrong) which I greatly appreciated, again, safety first! I love how seriously they take these things. When I pick up the boys I get feedback about their day. Overall our family has had such a wonderful experience here. I am SO glad to have found Campbell Christian, we were welcomed into their family with open arms. I am so happy to have found a school where I can leave my young toddlers and know that they are being taken great care of and I don't have to stress at all. Thank you Campbell Christian! read more

My daughter attends the preschool now. It would be nice if she could continue here after this year but for us it's a bit cost prohibitive and a bit far. We live in Cupertino so her baby sister and I have to be in the car a lot to drop her off and pick her up. If we could afford to stay, I would, but next year we will be walking five minutes to the public school. She is in Mrs. Lori Lee's half-day pre-K MWF. She loves her teacher and going to school. She'd probably go all day everyday if she could but partly because it's her first year in school, we wanted to ease in with 3 days. This school has the best combination of schedule, and atmosphere, and cost of those we looked at (inc. Santa Clara Christian & Kid's Corner). Mrs. Lori is a sweet woman, loves the kids, and is good with the gentle effective discipline. There are a couple more rambunctious kiddos and she responds well. They always have a fun activity going on. There is also outdoor time of course. My daughter gets computer and music class but misses library and chapel as those are TTH. We get regular notices for class and school events. The director is also a lovely woman. Her office assistant is very professional, an on-the-ball sort of woman. Just a helpful hint: the kids clothes have to be labeled. I found a company called Name Bubbles that makes fun washable stickers. read more

Campbell Christian Preschool has truly been a God-send for my daughter and our family! The teachers and staff are so loving and caring, watching over our precious children as if they were their own and looking out for their best interests! My daughter started attending Campbell Christian in 2008 part time and moved to full time in 2009 through 2012. Not only did my daughter grow in her love for God, but she began to excel academically as well, learning how to write her own name by 2 1/2 years old and doing simple addition by 5! The teachers at Campbell give so much of their time and their hearts to make the school truly excellent in every aspect! We have countless projects hung upon our walls of the spectacular things she worked on in Preschool and even more saved in a file to scrapbook! Every morning when we dropped our daughter off at school we were always greeted by the warm and welcoming faces of the Preschool Teachers, many of which I continue to share a personal relationship with even though my daughter is no longer in preschool! When I asked my daughter about her teachers at Campbell Christian Preschool, this is what she said: Ms. Nancy - "She was a very nice teacher" Mrs. Tammy - "She was a nice teacher, a very good learning teacher, and a lot of fun. My favorite part of Ms. Tammy's class was doing calendar every day, learning about the months of the year and the weather!" Mrs. Welch - "Mrs. Welch was a very silly and very fun teacher! I loved doing all the art projects and learning how to take care of pets. I always had fun in Mrs. Welch's and Mrs. Linda's class!" Mrs. Linda - "She really loved the Bible just like me, and I like that!" Bottom line, Campbell Christian Preschool is more than just a preschool, it is a safe and loving home away from home for your children! You will be amazed by how much they will grow spiritually, emotionally, socially and academically here at Campbell. My boy is the youngest one in his class but he didn't even cry the first day just hugged Mom & Dad and said "bye! "walked away with his teacher. I came here for 2nd grade-part of 5th (1985-1988). I highly doubt that any of my teachers still work here. This was back when CCS occupied the campus that Primary Plus has now. It was also K-8 at that time.The upper graders were in the "other" building in which the whole school is located now. I remember having a pretty good time here. One of my favorite memories of this place was Creation Day. It was their way of letting us celebrate Halloween. We would be allowed to wear a costume, but it had to be of something that existed in real life and something that God created. I am still friends with some of the people I met there. The school janitor, Pal Stone, was a really nice guy. I am sure he is long since dead though. read more

I've had both my kids at CCS since they were 8 months old, full time 5 days a week. I cannot recommend a more loving environment (next to being home with mommy!)! The staff is amazing and has little turnover. My kids have grown up with CCS as their "second home". If you work full time and are looking for a stable, loving and quality education (and "daycare") for your child, look no further. My review is for primarily the infant thru Pre-K classes Since 2009 after enrolling my first son as an infant into CCS, we are still at CCS and I have also enrolled my 2nd son as an infant and he is now 2 yrs old on the preschool side! After all these years I still feel the exact way as I did then! Both of my children love going to school to here! The staff at CCS are great, Ms Kathy & Ms Michelle in the pre-school office are very helpful and caring. They go the extra mile to help in anyway! Dr Stuart is an awesome principal; he is a very caring and understanding person. All of the teachers we have had so far are amazing. We have been from the infant room to Pre-K! My sons have many friends at CCS, some of which are his best friends. I can go to work every day knowing, my kids are safe and in a happy environment!! We love this school! I know most of these teachers on a personal level. Most of the teachers are early childhood development educators so it's great to know they have that experience. The children look happy. The staff has a genuine serving hearts. They care for children. Even if a teacher is not your child's teacher and a teacher in another class they still know your Childs name and keep an eye out for them. I was so surprised by that! Safety is their number 1 goal! In terms of structure - it's definitely school based but for toddler it's all play lead. They have music days, gym classes art classes and many other themed activities. This school has the bells and whistles for a private school. But... It's not very Christian. If it is, that was hard to tell. I had to ask about their faith and we were looking for a faith based school. Fortunately there are several around, and they aren't afraid to hide their values; but they don't have the fancy extras that this campus has. If you want fancy and fun- this school is it. But since we can afford the fancy extra outside of school and are looking for scripture and values, CCA is the place for us. read more

I have had 2 children attend this school since 2009 and have been absolutely pleased with the care and education they have received. We recently had a new addition to the family and she is now in the infant room and is extremely happy with the staff and the other children. My wife and I started sending our 18-month-old and 3-year-old daughters to Campbell Christian School about one year ago and it has been an incredible experience. We moved them from an in-home daycare to CCS and the transition couldn't have gone more smoothly. From the moment we toured the facilities and met the staff, we knew we found the right place for our daughters. After the first day, when we picked them up, we were expecting to hear that they had a rough day and that it would take some time to adjust - but we were pleasantly surprised to hear that they did great and fit right into the new environment. From then on, each morning when we get them up and ready to go, they are excited to get out of our house and into the classroom. Both girls have learned so much in such a short period of time - every day they are doing different activities and learning about new things - it is truly a great experience for them and is building a solid foundation. CCS has a lot of wonderful events that the kids thoroughly enjoy - pumpkin patches, Christmas musicals, visits from police officers, firemen, nurses, etc. just to name a few. We are very grateful to have found CCS and are excited to see our daughters continue to grow as they move through pre-school and beyond. read more

Campbell Christian School has been a blessing for our family. CCS strives to create a family setting, where children are safe and cared for while providing a top-notch education. The teaching staff is very dedicated to making sure every child receives the individual help they need to succeed through academic, spiritual and emotional growth. My oldest Son has attended CCS since Pre-K, he is now in 4th grade. We are a military family, and the school helped to mentor and take care of my son while my Husband was deployed over seas. They have worked very closely with our family through several of life's troubling matters, and are always willing to take the time to pray with us when we need it, take a phone call when we are concerned about your son, or answer emails with questions about our sons education. I love how the school not only allows parent involvement, but requests it. Being able to work with the children and teaching staff helps me to better understand the education my son receives, as well as being a part of it. I not only get to be apart of my son's education, but I also get to have a say in how he gets it. Each grade has two teachers with different teaching styles, but they work together to create a great learning environment for the children. The school also offers a structured P.E., music, art, and computer programs. I have two children in the preschool program at Campbell Christian Schools, including the infant / toddler program. My kids are and have been loved and nurtured in each class that they have transitioned to throughout their time. I am on campus regularly and see my kids throughout the day. I have every confidence in the teachers and know that my children are being well taken care of. Even the substitute teachers on campus love and care for my children. Although no place is perfect and there is always room for improvement, I wouldn't have my children at any other preschool. In regard to Ms. Stephanie, she is a wonderful and caring teacher. I have seen her go above and beyond and I know that she loves and cares for the children in her class as her own. In regard to the person who had complaints about the toddler program after the first day, best of luck elsewhere. Transition is hard on children and it takes time for them to get adjusted. I have seen the magic that the teachers work to adjust children to the program, which includes transitioning classes. It is no easy task and they do an amazing job. Often times as parents we are not hard enough on our kids when they need it (my daughter still has a pacifier at home and it is well past the time she should have it according to her doctor, dentist, etc.). At school, they transitioned her off it and she doesn't use it or need it, and that's right. In transitioning her off of it, they recognized that it would be more difficult for her than other children so they modified the removal plan to accommodate my child and her needs. Overall, I'm very pleased with the preschool program at Campbell Christian Schools, including the infant / toddler program. I'm happy to be a part of such a wonderful community. I am really surprised by the great reviews. Maybe the grade school is better than the preschool. My review is for the preschool only. I tranferred my daughter in here from a wonderful preschool on the east coast after we moved here in January 2012. She was in the 3s class (3 full days with Ms. Tammy). The preschool felt like a large daycare center and not a preschool. The student teacher ratio was terrible (2 teachers for easily 22+kids) and everytime I came in I only observed pure chaos with kids screaming and running everywhere. I never observed the classroom under control. They didn't seem to be doing any of the fun creative projects we were used to. They had a play yard and sand box, but didn't have access to the large play structure at the school. Art projects mostly consisted of markers on photocopier paper! I didn't feel like she was learning much academically either and was picking up bad habits from the other kids. I also felt that the communication from the teachers was poor. I always made a point of dropping off my daughter in her classroom and picking her up while her teachers were still there to greet them and thought that I would hear if there was a problem. Well about 6 weeks into school, I found out my daughter had been having dicipline issues that had been going on for over a week. Why didn't I hear about this sooner? Why had she not had any issues before in the 1 1/2 years at her old school? My husband and I spoke with our daughter about things and we figured out that she just couldn't function in the chaos. We ended up pulling her out of the school after 2 months. After a break from school for a couple of months she is now very happy in a wonderful new preschool thriving, doing great fun, creative things. No behavior problems at all! Hmm... My daughter started at CCS in Kindergarten and just graduated from 8th grade this past June 2016. It was an absolutely amazing 9 years. We loved all of her teachers as well as the administration. When she started the school only went through 5th grade but the school built a new building onsite and added 6th, then 7th and finally 8th grades. We were fortunate to be able to be part of the new middle school as well as the growth of their sports programs. it was only the second 8th grade class at the school and has a lot of growing to do, but i am sure they will do well with the staff that they have. It's a great place to be if you want your child and the parents to feel like part of a family. I would encourage parents to get involved with a lot of the volunteer activities. My daughter was in 4 of the school musicals. Some of my best memories were volunteering for these musicals. Parents get to help with Sets, costumes, props as well as backstage help during the shows. What an amazing time to bond with your children as well as the other parents. I was lucky enough to build some very strong friendships with many of the parents as well as the faculty. The most important part of this school is the values it teaches with it's Christian curriculum. My daughter has turned into an amazing young woman that is kind, friendly, helpful, polite and an amazing Christian. Even if the religion is not your main focus I believe that you will be doing your child a great service by allowing them to attend this school as the the values in general are the kind that our society today needs the most. If you are looking at private schools give CCS a chance. You will not be sorry. read more
