Pediatrics isn't just about being a good dentist, but more importantly it's about managing a child and parent's expectation. Listening to concerns and recommending care that fits the need. Dr. B and the team goes above and beyond to make everyone feel safe and heard. On top of that, they are a well organized practice. Each staff member supports one another. Thank you!

I was very disappointed with my experience at this dental office. I was informed that my son could…read moreno longer be seen because of an outstanding balance that they claim had been sending statements. The problem is that the statements were being mailed to an old address, despite the office having me verify and update my information at every visit. My son's last appointment was only about a year ago, yet this issue was never brought to my attention then. What was even more frustrating was being told that even if I paid the balance in full immediately, they still would not accept my child as a patient. Their justification was that they had called me one time regarding the balance. Refusing care over a billing issue that resulted from incorrect contact information and poor communication seems unreasonable. This wasn't the first time I experienced issues with their office management. On one occasion, my son had already checked in and was sitting in the dental chair being seen when I received a phone call stating that he had missed his appointment and never showed up. Receiving a no-show call while my child was actively in the office was concerning and reflected a lack of organization and communication. Overall, I found the situation poorly handled and disappointing. I would expect a healthcare office to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with patients, and make a reasonable effort to resolve issues before refusing care.

Our hygienist was amazing - she was attentive, listened carefully, made notes and then not only did she listen well, but she conveyed the information to Dr. Nancy and Dr. Nancy came in having read my input form/listening to the hygienist. Might not sound like a big deal, but for the first time I felt like I had a true partner in my child's care, much like his pediatrician. I felt heard, I felt supported and then she carefully went through his mouth and we talked through treatment options of what made sense. She also answered all of my questions. Front desk came with a complete explanation of what was covered/not - everything was clear, in writing, and was able to click a button that said proceed! Another incredible service - once you agree to your treatment plan, you get an email with the PDF that not only shows what you agreed to but the actual teeth impacted. I know this seems silly but I have never seen the actual tooth number/letter up until now for my child and he is age 8. The building is a bit odd looking from the outside, but the office is bright and fresh and welcoming! We are absolutely thrilled to have found this dentist and looking forward to our next visit!

She is four years old now and is very comfortable 'going to the dentist'. The office is warm, big prop trees divide the space between the office and the waiting room. There are enough books to keep a small classroom entertained and my daughter felt catered to. The dental hygienist was so kind and offered me a spot to sit to watch my daughter. She asked if they could do X-rays which I agreed to. They were careful to explain how the teeth would eventually push through and at what angles. My daughter was busy watching a movie with provided headphones, so none of the procedures seemed to bother her. After her cleaning, she got to choose a prize and enter into a drawing to win a bicycle. All very exciting to a four year old. She'll look forward to more of the excitement. I had to email their front staff to fill out a form for her TK registration earlier this summer and they replied within four hours of my request. I was impressed with their response time and as a busy mom, I am grateful for the help!

Absolutely gaslit by a severely misinformed dentist at this office. I went in with a…read morewell-researched plan for my very challenging child that I was hoping to have an open discussion about and instead was gaslit and repeatedly having to defend my stance. 1. Glass ionomer is absolutely a viable option for a tooth with no enamel (as my child has) as a preventative measure/temporary solution, three dentists later and all the ChatGPT and Gemini data I can consume, I was right. It was literally designed to adhere to challenging teeth situations, including my child's, a no enamel tooth (which is actually quite rare, so there probably is some enamel present) and in his case, one that has not fully erupted. The chemical reaction that takes place does not need "hooks" to bond - it literally is an acid-base reaction to either enamel OR dentin creating a true chemical bond and thus a seal to temporarily protect said tooth. Both enamel and dentin contain hydroxyapatite - the key player is Calcium. The polyacrylic acid has negatively charged carboxyl groups that can chelate to calcium ions. So when GIC is placed on the tooth (regardless of whether it is dentin or enamel), the acid conditions the surface, some calcium is available on the surface and the polyacralate chains form ionic bonds with surfac calcium and you get a chemical adhesion layer. Only difference is that with dentin, mineral density is lower, more organic matrix present and more moisture - so while it is a lesser bond, it still absolutely chemically bonds and would give the tooth some protection while we wait for it to fully erupt, for him to mature and hopefully continue work through his gag reflex. Basically buy time. Chemistry was my favorite class. 2. When I say no stainless steel cap or amalgam - I MEAN NO STAINLESS STEAL - and you are also WRONG if you think they do not contain nickel. Nickel is literally the ingredient needed to allow dentists to FORM the cap. It's not for you then to debate me for 10 minutes. I do not want the added release of Nickel into his system, a metal his father has a KNOWN ALLERGY TO. My child already has brain inflammation - I do not need to increase his load. Instead of listening, I was questioned multiple times about "how allergic my husband really is" or my favorite "all my other PANS/PANDAS patients are fine with the stainless steal". DO NOT CARE. Until you hold your child while he is convulsing himself to sleep because his brain is inflamed and his motor tics are out of control, you don't get to push your narrative. I am telling you as his parent what I need from you. Don't gaslight me into something because it is easier and cheaper for you. The rest of the office, awesome - great hygienists, awesome front desk - so sweet, great with kids. If you have a kid with no issues and just regular checkups, probably fine. But if you have a unique situation that requires thoughtful consideration with knowledgeable dentist, I would NEVER take my child back here. He deserves better care and as a parent, I have standards = a dentist who doesn't gaslight and understands the very basics of the treatments they are responsible for giving.

Finally, my youngest daughter had the most dental work done here after she experienced cavities and tooth decay due to drinking milk in bed as a baby and not brushing afterwards. She had to do the repair under general anesthesia at 3, which is super nerve-wrecking as a parent but under the care of Dr Nancy it went very well. We appreciate that everything is super kid friendly, from the coin kids get to retrieve a prize at the end of each visit, the tee shirt and picture with the dentist they get on their first visit, etc. We will keep coming here and also a special shoutout to all the dental assistants! Of course I denied it and was asked to sign a no xray waiver. I can't help questioning this clinic protocol on pediatric radiation protection, and I will speak to the floor manager over this issue.

Dr. Amiri is so considerate and personable and absolutely great with kids. My kid is older and she is just as patient and kind as I see her interact with the little kids that come in. I have never felt rushed or like I'm inconveniencing her with questions. And I love that she takes what I call a minimalist approach and has a great way of explaining treatment plans. The other really nice thing about her office is her other patients, they always seem to be just as friendly and it makes for a really nice atmosphere. And even though there are usually other families, they run a tight ship and always seem to be on time. We've had many dentist appointments in the last year and I can't think of a single time we had to wait, even though it would be completely normal if we did. She takes our insurance, but would 100% be worth the out of pocket costs if she didn't. Every experience has been positive and I have never left with a bad feeling or unanswered questions. I truly can not think of a single negative thing about Dr. Amiri or her office, she is hands down one of the easiest going, friendliest people and I recommend her wholeheartedly. My only regret is that we didn't find her sooner, she is an amazing pediatric dentist!

The "bill" never provided an explanation as to what exactly they were for. I asked for an itemized bill, in which they could not produce for months. It wasn't until August that someone called me back to tell me verbally what the charges were (x rays that I didn't know my child took), but still nothing on paper and I received a notification every month about my outstanding mysterious balance. In early Nov, they finally produced an itemized bill that I have attached. I'm still not sure why under 3 years old oral evaluation isn't covered by my insurance, but that's what I was told. I paid the statement balance and today, 12/5, I receive yet another notice that I owe $7. There was no explanation, but comparing the two statements, which I have included here, it seems they randomly changed some charges and even added a charge. This is fraud because the last six months they have sent me a different bill this whole time and now all of a sudden after I paid they decided to change the charges with no explanation? It is also harassment to continue to email someone without providing any explanation for the charges. It's their responsibility to make sure the charges are correct and it seems they're just arbitrary at this point. Stay away from this incompetent business.

It wasn't painful thankfully but they still treated it with urgency and booked me as early as I was available Monday morning, even called to offer an earlier time that day which I definitely took. She took the time to listen to my concerns, hear my complaining about the totally unrelated gap in the front of my teeth because I didn't want to wear a retainer as the lazy defiant teenager I was, lol, and she even walked me through what she was doing (I have a curious mind!). I also asked about Invisalign but told her I heard it was pricey enough to make all my filling pop out. Dr. Dang fixed the filling and introduced a creative way to close the gap and wow! Who needs Invisalign. I didn't expect much given my gap but she figured out a new way to make it happen for me. I haven't had a gapless smile in over 10 years. Fun fact.
