i would give this place zero stars if i could. please do not come here to get your nails done. My sister and i came in almost 2 hours before closing we had an appointment had pictures of some simple french tips we wanted. the lady that did my nails was absolutely horrible they used a clear base and you could see my real nails under the acrylic. none of the shapes matched and not one of the french tips were actual french tips they were all in even and messy. on top of that i sat in the chair for an hour and 50 mins because she kept messing up towards the end i was ready to just get up and leave. my sister had one lady start her nails and then another guy finish her nails which is super unprofessional. had my sister get up and move to the other end of the table to finish her nails. she was also done within 20 mins while i sat there for another hour and a half waiting for my girl to finish. and my sisters nails were done the same horribly painted french tips not one of her shapes matched. we ended up taking them off that night they were so bad. please do not come here your better off painting your own nails at home and getting a better outcome. read more

Following this I was left sitting with no instructions until I started putting on my anklet and she came over and finished up on my feet. DO NOT GO HERE! I used to go here every two weeks for about 3 years (stiletto acrylics). Over the years they have changed all of their artists (good ones have left). Now the owner is super bitter and grumpy. He burns your nails when filing because his machine is on a super high speed. I have to ask him 3 times to turn it down EVERY TIME I go in so I am sure others hurt too and are too polite to say anything. They also don't care about the quality of their work (any of the artists). Several times I've been cut by scissors or hit with a tool because they were looking at something else. THEY TALK ABOUT YOU! I respect speaking multiple languages but the things they say about customers in front of their faces are things I don't want to even type here because they are so mean. Discussing people's hygiene, outfits, appearance, and attitudes. They are cheap and will treat you as such. If you value your self care and relaxation do not go to this salon! Personally, I don't think getting your nails done should be stressful and I haven't left feeling relaxed or satisfied here since 2017. read more

The prices got me to go in and I think I got exactly what I paid for. One of the previous posters hit the nail right on the head-- it's like an express car wash. I got placed as soon as I walked through the door and was out in an hour and a half or so. I got a pedicure which was done by an older man and a full set by an older woman. The massage, foot scrub, and trimming parts of the pedi was thoroughly done but my actual pedicure was lack luster. The polish came out lumpy and I honestly do a better job painting my own nails at home. The tech didn't even add a top coat so I'm certain this polish won't last very long. My mani was more of the same. Beautiful to look at from a distance but up close you can see that there was a lack of attention to detail. My cuticles weren't trimmed, the acrylic is gappy on some of the nails and the polish didn't even coat the full nail... again no top coat. I will probably have to go back in sooner than I intended for a touch up because it was done hastily this time. I just wanted my nails to look neat for my upcoming wedding. I'd have gone elsewhere if I knew where to find more quality services in the same price range in Tucson. Tip - Don't be afraid to ask exactly how much your services will cost before they begin. At Campbell Nails, when you ask for a manicure they will automatically ask, "Gel? Gel?" which costs more than a regular manicure. It was $45 for a "Gelish" Gel French mani & regular polish pedi. White or French tips always cost $5 more. Also, if you have a preference between "Gelish" or "Shellac" brands, speak up. The pedi was fine. Although I wish they would run water in the pedi tubs/clean the tubs for a longer time between customers. The "Gelish" mani from Tina was PAINFUL! She kept using her own thumbnail to wipe away the excess polish on either sides of my nails. The skin was already sensitive from the rough cuticle pushing & trimming. I've had a shellac manicure before so I'm familiar with the process, but it never hurt this much before. So that meant Tina (she seemed like one of the bosses so she should know better) dug her nail into my skin for 5+ polish layers, over a 100 times! OUCH! read more

First off , I came in to get my nails done for my wedding . John did an amazing job with my nails - acrylic gel with gold tips. I showed him a picture and he gave me exactly what I wanted and more. This place would've gotten 5 stars but the lady with long curly like hair did a horrible job on my pedicure . The nail polish was clumped and never dried . She seemed to not care or handle my toenails properly when taking out the wedges that spread apart my toes . I've been going to Campbell Spa Nails Salon all summer long. I'm usually not one to get my fingernails or toes done as I've been afraid of catching something from unclean equipment. This place is VERY clean. All of the pedispas have removable liners and the technicians use gloves. Everything is sanitized prior to being used as well, which is very comforting. They also do an awesome job on both my feet and hands. I get a spa pedicure and gel manicure that lasts for 3 weeks for $45, which I think is very affordable. The entire experience is very relaxing. My nails haven't chipped at all. The nails look great until about the 3 week mark when they start growing out. They are super fast as well. If they have time, they will do your nails and feet at the same time but usually I'm in an out in less than 90 minutes. They're conveniently located but sometimes parking can be problematic due to the size of the lot. It's also at a busy intersection (Grant/Campbell) that you'll have to pull into if you aren't finding parking the first try. Everyone that works here is very friendly and polite. Then as she's doing my nails it begins to get extremely busy so she starts rushing. She finished shaping my nails and told me to go pick a color, not knowing what I wanted I took about 2 minutes picking and she comes over and starts rushing me. She basically picked the color for me and when we went back to polish my nails I told her I didn't like the color. She then got upset and told me to pick a different one. It took maybe 40 seconds to pick the color but when I turned around she already had another girl at my seat starting her nails.. first off that was extremely rude but more importantly my purse was right on the seat and she just let that girl sit with it..I didn't know who that girl was she could be a thief for all I know.. then the owner asked why I was just standing there and I said I need my stuff. So she reached around the girl and got my purse. I told the owner Vicky this situation was very rude. She didnt apologize, she didn't even respond or acknowledge what I said. She just tossed me my purse, then went back to doing nails. I then stood there like an idiot with no where to sit. The lady that was doing my nails said ohh go sit over there, while pointing at an empty seat. I sat there waiting while she did that other girls nails, no one else helped me. I realized there was a crack on the side of my nail. When she finally came to polish my nails she was rushing, I told her about the crack and she looked at it and painted over it. I pulled my hand away and told her again it was cracked. She said no it's not, I told her yes it is, look at it!!! She got up all mad and got her little nail kit and put acrylic over the crack. I said thank you, then she didn't even smooth out the lumps An painted over it.. at this point I was already extremely upset and needed to leave before I lost my cool. I would give this place a negative star rating but I can't.... There is no price list menu anywhere. When I asked about a menu I was told to get one on a tiny rack as out of sight as possible. This is an old trick girls. I looked at prices on the menu and my girl changed prices that were on it. Always bad, sneaky, dishonest sneaky! Got my legs waxed. Skimping on supplies & quality always occurs at salons but this place was outrageous during this COVID insanity. The massage consisted of a few squeezes and should come with a wax but I had to pay extra $10 for it. Very crappy attitude and service.
